OK seriously it's not that ghetto but it's no that good either it's located in the inner city so I already know what to expect the security is pretty nice to me but that big fat, mean, ugly, short haired, bald headed, librarian that works there just loves picking on people and saying things like there have been complaints about how u are dressed and I don't think anyone other than her has came up to me and said it to my face she must be jealous because I'm young got class, got smarts, and she is wasting her time working at the library she has no life and just mind my business surfing the web not giving a damn what anyone thinks of me I don't mean any trouble or harm so there for she is just messy and very miserable and wants to make other people unhappy because she isn't very happy herself other than that kids full around in there but I'm an adult so I won't tolerate bullcrap from anyone no mater who u r

Library front desk attend was very rude when I asked where was she one of the other patrons told me who she was when I found her she was asleep in one of the chairs when I asked if she could help me with the fax machine she said the instructions for the machine where located on the top she never got up to help and just went back to sleep

My daughter loves to read and we made a stop at the Kansas City Library to see this. It's nothing major but for someone who loves books, it was spectacular. It can be a bit confusing with parking so be sure to plan your route properly before going. Fun place to visit.

We were looking for the "book wall" because it was in the pictures for this branch. This was not the right place. If your looking for that it's called the community bookshelf.

Don't ever come here if you are trying to use this library to actually READ, or work, or do anything important. This is the worst library in KC. It is FULL of LOUD MOUTH KIDS, they run around yelling and playing like the place is A park, and the staff do absolutely nothing to stop it. People leave their stupid rude kids here and let them run wild, there is no supervision, and I guess no rules. I can't EVER read here. The security walks right by these loud mouth PRE teens cussing and yelling hate speech and they don't say a word. It's just terrible there. Not a library at all. This is a playground for kids equipped with computers. I'd be surprised if most of this trash can even read. It's always like this too. This happens every single time I come here, I'm just disgusted with how this place is run. WORST LIBRARY EVER
