Looks big from the outside, but small when you are inside. Parking is limited. They have strange hours closing abruptly at 5pm on Wednesday (no announcement or warning). Also their Wed hours say they are open until 9pm but this is not correct. It's all very stylish and modern looking, but feels cold and unwelcoming. The staff tends toward professional instead of warm and inviting. There also appears to be very few staff. Can you tell I'm not a fan? I live in a much less affluent city and our library's are much nicer.

I used to go a lot for my kids, but rarely for myself because of the stiff environment. I agree with some reviews here -- not a friendly staff (and this is from having to have a conversation with them).

Nice meeting room, with AV equipment and and a sink and counter in addition to tables and chairs.

1. The movie section needs to be easier to view. Too many movies on bottom shelf difficult to see titles. Also, could use better lighting. 2. Need more children's activities. 3. I thought staff was very friendly and helpful, don't understand previous negative comments about staff. What do you expect "a song and dance?"

This place is definitely smaller on the inside than it looks on the outside. That said, however, there's still a decent selection here. And you might be able to find what you want on the online catalog if you can't find it in-store. The place itself is generally kept pretty clean, and there's plenty of space to sit down if you feel the need to for a few minutes or so.

I love going to the library! Excellent and friendly staff, calm atmosphere, fun and interactive story time for kids plus a book drop off when you’re too busy to go inside!

Although it's a small library, it's got a lot of features. There are many public computers, a public area where you can eat, and meeting rooms. There is also a gaming console available in the teen section. They don't have many books, though.

Use the Johnson County Library App on your phone to hold books, movies, and music. Makes your library visit go really smooth. I enjoy this library.
