A great place to find books, film and other media. Good place to get cheap access to printers, computers, basic programs like Word and Excel and the internet for job searches or just to enjoy yourself. Don't forget your headphones in the computer lab! Very helpful and nice staff. Great place for summer kid activities and has a great youth and young adult sections for the kids. They have rooms available to rent out for meetings and get togethers. Support your local library! Visit to get your card and see the helpful amenities. :)

This place is very traditional yet very high tech. Also has free WiFi, a sandwich bar, and a computer room. Very clean. Kids section is superb an have great games and services.

If you cant find what you're looking for, just ask and they will borrow it from another library so that you can check it out. They have a nice selection of large print books and a great selection of audio books. The childrens dept is always up to something fun. You can have a coffee and sit with the newspaper or just look at magazines. The new self check makes it easy and fast when you're in a hurry. An awesome library

I have not been here yet, but I just read about the ghost of Ida Day. No wonder they like it quiet in there... I will be visiting this library very soon.

Hutchinson Public Library has significantly improved and updated their property over the years. My favorite area is the lounge in the front corner with the ample windows. It is a relaxing area to pull out the technology and do work. Children’s area is way better than when it was just cramped bookshelves, back when my oldest was a little tyke.

What a nice library with a cute little bookstore and super nice people! I was impressed it was open past 5 pm! Very clean and offers a huge selection of books with a nice quiet place to read or study after a busy day!

I really like this library! Its clean, staff are great but the ill mannered young teenager girls that arrived with all the screaming and fowl language today was an extremely ridiculous experience for me and both the kids I had with me! The sexual discussion..... I just picked up the kids and walked away. But I did stop and tell a staff how appalled I was that no one intervened. I wasnt mad at the staff because I can understand with today's society noone wants to approach another parent kids! I just had to leave before I said something really disrespectful to these kids. I would love to record them...and play it back to they're parents! But God forbid if it was a man in here disrespecting kids. Or young boys disrespecting you g girls! That would be so publicized! These fowl mouth girls were not reading nor working on anything. They specifically came to rock on the kiddie rockers and behave like immature idiots.

It's a pretty good place but if you have business to take care of and it involves talking you might want to find another place cause they like it quite in there but it is a place to get on Wi-Fi for free the only thing I would change is I would give a hour and a half on the computer in the morning and in the evening. So instead of a hour and a half a day I would give a total of three hours a day but make them split it up. And I would have a couple of special rooms for people that gets on Wi-Fi on their phones so they can talk if need be
