Very impressed with this library. It is much bigger than it looks from the outside and the interior is modern yet welcoming

Good selection of books the staff is very helpful and it looks great in the inside.

Nice facility. The only issue I have is when you borrow a book from another library using this library. You only get two weeks, then you have to return book. I’d gotten a long book for vacation, vacation was delayed, so I tried to extend the book loan, “ Not possible.” Since I was halfway complete, I had to buy the book from Amazon. I will prob do that in the future since ordering, picking up, taking back, phone calls trying to extend were so much hassle. Next time order and enjoy. Programs like these are great, but a few instances like this will turn people like me away from libraries.

The services that are offered for free to the community are fabulous. From free digital materials, online educational courses, and free notary at all locations, the Library has it all.

Libraries in the 21st century are becoming hubs of education and community. LaPorte's library is doing a fantastic job making this transition with their makers space and education opportunities for children and adults.
