Modern, updated, clean, quiet... My new go to place to study. Great selection of books and really nice environment to stay focused. They have separate rooms for group studying, for meetings; the ample windows let the sun in and it’s just inviting to have your coffee while reading.

As well as plenty of the books and recordings you expect to find, there are also ample pc's for public use. Librarians are friendly, with special props to the knowledgeable and creative research librarians.

Very clean, very nice , and experienced, employees. I would HIGHLY recommend the CROWN POINT LIBRARY OVER any of the librarys near. I always walked in and went to the room with the coffee. There is Hadicap cap parking in the front, and a nice size parking lot . If its filled u can park across the street at the Fire dept. I would park on the side of the buiding but down a few parking spaces or in the back where u still can see the library . Crown point has very friendly Fire dept( I have my father who is still active with the fire dept too many yrs i lost count after 51 yrs and my Nephew. and Police Dept have friendly police and a #1 chief Pete Land.. so there is an open parking spaces in Crown Point.. Very Friendly Community. Every time i walked into the library there was an employee asking me ifi needed any help. Someone always willing to help.. and a parking spot available anywhere. Lots of Computers, if u havent been on one of there computers u nd to go the the lady sitting at her desk by the computers to give u a past code.. i live in cedar lake and dnt mind the drive to the Crown Point Library. I Grew Up in CP. So i miss it and hoping to move back. IM GIVING CROWN POINT LIBRARY 5 STARS . LOT Better Area now than where they used to have their library.. That was a mess.

One of my favorite places I'm treated really nice there, like I'm family they take time to talk and get to know you. Lol I go there almost EVERYDAY lol so yes I love it.

The library is very clean and well kept, it has amazingly helpful librarians who are always on point with book recommendations. Plenty of quite study areas and outlets for computer chargers.As some other reviewers have said they have a smaller selection compared to other nearby libraries but this location is funded by the city of Crown Point so it takes time to grow.

I am so glad i dicovered this library. It is right in the square so it is great for people watching. It is my go to place to study. It is so quite that have not had to use to study rooms yet. But it is nice to know they are there if needed. I have always been able to get a computer as soon as i walk in. I love the mo3 audiobooks. They have some good ways to download ebooks as well. As a place to study and a quite place to go. I highly recommend it over other libraries.

This old gray hair lady threw my food away when I was in the bathroom and she saw me go in and when I came out my food was thrown away. Even though it said no food in the teen zone I just had my bag of $20 worth of food. Like they shouldn't do that. I hate that lady she is so rude. I think she shouldn't work here. SO disrespectful.

Friendly staff. Makes it as easy as possible to get anything you need as far as creating a resume or cover letter. Wish there was a library like this in every city across the world.

Great place to get any type of book that you want. Everyone their is helpful. I love that there's self checkouts here for anyone that doesn't want to talk to people.

Library is absolutely beautiful but the customer service is terrible. The rudest service when just trying to obtain a library card for my son. Lady at first floor desk asked, “what do you want?” Where’s is a smile and how can I help you? I suggest an improvement in the quality of customer greetings and service!

Well-equipped library, solid internet connection (free), plenty of space to work, study, think, or collaborate. Small group rooms available for library card holders on the second floor.
