It's nice in there

-2 stars for 1. considering my laptop charger plugged to the floor a "trip hazard" and 2. not requiring the Library ID for Free Wifi. All other libraries have it 100% free without it

Which library on earth doesn’t allow your laptop plug in . Plus you only get the WiFi for two hours. What will the professional students do who needs to study for hours and hours. My kind request to them would be that they should allow free WiFi. And allow to use laptop plug in. Without this this library is literally useless.

Wow!!! No free WiFi here without a library card!!! Go to McDonald's or Starbuck's was their response. Ugh!!! It's a fine facility, but I never liked to have to ask staff if I can use their restroom. Then they go in afterwards to ensure I didn't mess the place up. That's the way to make people feel right at home!!!

I've been coming to Prairie Trails library for 23 years. Everyone has always been very helpful and friendly! My kids used to love coming here for all the events, to do homework, go online, say hi to the librarians, and to just relax and read. A great place for families! :-)

This is such a small library, which wouldn't be a problem for the exception that the staff continuously holds conversations. The large lady behind the desk talks continuously throughout every visit I've ever made to this establishment. It's hard to tune out and read, which defeats the purpose of my trip to the library. Additionally I've been a resident of the community for the past 6 months, however I don't have a library card. The staff told me they wouldn't provide me with the login code. I've visited many libraries who have never had a problem providing the access code, even if I wasn't a resident of that particular town. If you're looking for a quiet establishment to get some work done in, or to leisurely read- I'd suggest elsewhere

Awesome location for a library, however some of the staff isn't so friendly. There is a large heavy set man that generally sits in the front that wears glasses and he can be somewhat unfriendly, nonchalant, and not as helpful as he should be to be working in a library setting. I just feel anyone working in the public anywhere should display excellent customer service skills and not bring their personal feelings to the job.

If you want a quiet space away from the librarians if they talk, sit away from the librarians, they’ve got the chairs for that. There’s a private study room that blocks noise out. You just gotta look. Its on the right. Dont be offended if they check the bathroom after you go in.. hasn’t happened to me- or I mean, I don’t care to pay attention to that stuff.. how would you want your bathroom messed with? You know they’re the librarian but they only know you as a stranger. You dont need to give your info to use the toilet.. they scan books, not scrub toilets. They’d rather not I bet. There’s a bunch of computers to the right past the librarians checkout area. I use them for the outlet, I don’t mind if I’m sitting next to someone, or if others are sitting. We grew up sitting shoulder to shoulder with way more people from morning till mid afternoon haha, you’ll be fine. Its a nice place. No, it doesn’t need to be remodeled. Clean and well maintained, and quiet. Don’t be afraid to say ‘shhh’ if it’s genuinely an issue.

I am unsure about this library. Only because I make quick trips. The librarians aren't very friendly if you sit there long, it's like they want you in and out. I would recommend going there if you'd like to make copies, check out a book real fast or a movie.

Rude staff, they don’t want to look up at you when you are standing at their desk waiting for help. Such a hassle just to get the WiFi code. Never been to a library where the WiFi wasn’t open to public besides here, and you can only use the outlets in certain areas so don’t even bother if you need to plug your laptop in unless you don’t mind sitting at a crowded and crammed table area. Won’t ever go back.

Everyone at the library is so helpful. I enjoy the Wednesday movies. I have and will continue to take advantage of the programs for adults.
