GREAT for the programming/fun events; I have had awesome experiences with my kids. However, BIG tip: If you NEED to study (more than an hour in the library) I advise going to Panera or somewhere else down the road. You are not allowed to bring any food or beverage into the library (even if it is covered). Finally if you need to study late, close is 9pm except Sunday (5pm). Unfortunately on more than four occasions now since May 2018, whenever I needed to stay through the closing announcements, I had been approached by two or more librarians in person in the last 15 minutes to alert me they are closing. Yes, I have headphones in but the announcements can still be heard and I can watch the time constantly (phone/computer) & respect it; notably, everyone but me appears to leave by 8:45pm. I need those last 15 minutes as a busy mom to get some studies in. It adds up! I pay my taxes to Oswego can use the library as long as it's open! So, if you are in a similar situation and think you may be staying the entire time the library is open (which you have the right to do!), I would at this time advise to approach the adult services desk and inform them gently yourself you are aware of the time and will be out by 9 so you can study peacefully!!!

My 2 year old and I love it there, for different reasons but its OK, b/c she still hasn't figured out if she is a book girl or a movie girl, yet? She just know's that she loves to DANCE AND LOVES MUSIC!!! Being 2 years old thats just great with me and her Father.

I went to return a couple movies two days ago. The lady at front desk was so rude towards me and made me feel so uncomfortable. If you work at a library your supposed to have a good attitude and be kind to everyone. She was an older women with short hair. I recall her throwing movies at me and I tried not to be rude but this is so, just speechless. Honestly almost don't want to ever go again but hey I can't wait to see you again to give you, yours lady.

Great movie selection, great book selection, fun activities and helpful staff! I went years without a library card thinking I didn't need one. Get one and take advantage of what your library has to offer, you're paying for it anyway in your taxes.
