you guys are trash. why would you close on the day before christmas eve??? I wasted my time and gas to drive half an hour just to find out you closed for no reason whatsoever. shame on me for not checking sooner...but still, what wad your reasoning?!?!?!

I love going to the Lisle Library. From movies and music to books, magazines, and art. There isn't enough time for me to immerse myself into it all. But, I’m going to try every chance I get. My new find is the Kindle, for books with significant number of pages.

Never go here to print anything! Especially powerpoints! I needed to print 6 PowerPoint files. The first 3, no problem printed out one right after another after another. The next 3 wouldn't even show up on my print list. The staff was clueless, I had to log out and log back in and download the PowerPoints once again and it takes at least 5 minutes for them to show up on my print list. To make the trouble worse? All the pages printed out at a rate of about 1 per minute. They have horribly slow computers and even worse printers. I will not be back to print unless its urgent. I'd rather drive the extra miles in the snow filled roads to get to the Naperville library, maybe they have better equipment than this place.

The Children's library and programs are top-notch! The librarians make an effort to personally know the kids and find creative ways to get them involved in reading and exploration, like Monday Fundays, Pokemon Club, and graphic novels. Kids learn that reading is FUN! They know my daughter by name and make wonderful recommendations for her. They are a big part of why she loves reading. And the adult section librarians have always been helpful and knowledgeable. They patiently explained how to set up Lisle Library OverDrive and hoopla accounts on my smart phone so I could read or listen to e-books. And the meeting rooms are full of fun events like folk concerts, gardening help and crafts for adults and kids. Lisle Library is one of the best parts of living in Lisle.

Girls at the reference desk are rude. My mom and I were the only two people in the library. We were booking airline tickets and talking quietly and one of the girls still came over to us and said we were being too loud. But yet she goes to sit back down. Phone rings. She answers and she was 5 times louder than we were. Hope she enjoyed her 1 minute of glory to act tough.

This place has good programs planned for the entire calendar year as well as summertime. Me and my kids enjoy coming here and participate in most of the events. However very unhappy as one of the staff member is repeatedly rude and very bias towards my children.

Going to the Lisle Library District, 777 Front St, Lisle, IL 60532 is always a treat. The library has such a wonderful collection for patrons to borrow from. The staff in each department is quite good with lots of programs for all ages from children's events to authors coming in for readings for adults and live music. The Lisle Library District, 777 Front St, Lisle, IL 60532 is quite a gem!
