Decent library kids whining people talking on the phone otherwise it’s a quiet and calm place to study

If you're looking for somewhere quite to go this is not the place! I've been here several times when patrons are free to converse on their cell phones. Of course, the staff doesn't bother to interrupt them. I've been there when local sales reps are conducting business with clients disturbing other patrons. But hands down the worst is the group that plays Mahjong. Why, why would there be a group so loud in one (of the few) study areas of the library??? One Friday AM they were very confrontational to 2 people studying in that area. They told all of us to leave if we didn't like it. Well, there are plenty of other, better area libraries to visit. Sad waste of tax payer dollars!

Good library, they have an extensive graphic novel section. Along with movies. The facilties are quiet, and the atmosphere calm. There are multiple floors and plenty of computers, as well as wifi. As a side note, you can also discard tattered flags here.

Itasca Community Library is a great little library. It's no behemoth like Schaumburg or Arlington Heights library but that's one of its strength. It's smaller, more relaxing, quiet. And there's a great selection of books, audio-visual materials, and on-line computers that you can use. The librarians are friendly and if they don't have a book or DVD or what have you, they will make sure to get it for you from another library.

I think it’s great! I guess I’ve only gone to check out books but I loved the atmosphere and the staff were friendly. I also LOVE their unique programming.

Wonderful staff helped me find everything I need. Very kind to students wanting so work, love their study rooms. It is a very quiet and nice place to work r he atmosphere is nice, the employees are lind and helpful, and the rooms and organisation is amazing!
