Audio ports on computers don't work with other headphones/earbuds and the normal headphones are very uncomfortable.

I really like this library. It's clean, lots of resources, vast collections of media, and a place to spend a day, afternoon, evening, whatever it may be. My typical experience at the Champaign Public Library usually encompasses a few things: first, a pastry or wrap from the small cafe in the library, which has actually amazing food. Second, a drink to go with said snack. Usually aside from that, I'm on my laptop writing papers, working on projects, or just browsing. Either way, the library is a good place to go.

Beautiful modern building, interior looks like something designed by ikea. An abundance of comfortable seating, great children's section, and on site cafe. I've been in the main public libraries of big cities and have been less impressed, champaign is lucky to have a library like this available. Other reviewers have mentioned the noise level, which at certain times of the day, gets rather loud, but I've always been able to find a study room when needing quite.

We love our library! The children’s library is extensive and airy with shelves kids can reach. This week, they got new play places (light table, train table, Lego table, kitchen, giant dollhouse with diverse dolls, and a huge magnet wall) for kids to explore. Every so often, the library runs games for kids to complete a chart by reading books to win a book. My son loves it!

I love the library we moved from a different state and I didn't like it here that much until I knew the library the kids love it so much the staff is AMAZING the have an amazing smile, great attitude and a great loving heart. We are really blessed to have such a great library with great people working in it . One of my favorite programs are the family fun night the yoga is so much fun you don't want to miss it . Another is the kids book club. We really love it. Thank you all you make us happy.

For a smaller town that Champaign is...this Library is incredible! State of the art. It is huge, bright, open, and quiet (imagine that, a quite library). Book a study room upstairs and have an enclosed study session. Rent movies, books, and taps. This library is a shock...in a very good way!

Modern clean wifi is a bit inconsistent . Can get painfully slow at times - could be faster and more reliable . 10/18 wifi speed absolutely aweful

Nice library but some of the children staff could be more friendly. I have been here twice recently and have had an unpleasant experience both times with the same staff member. I rarely saw her smile and when we asked for help she seemed bothered.

1. Four hours on a computer. 2. Don't need a library card to use a computer. 3. Open longer on Sundays. 4. Not closed on a Sunday before a Monday holiday. 5. Can watch movies without checking them out.

Great selection of books and movies. They also offer a wide variety of classes for all ages. I love how helpful the staff is when I have questions, they are always more than willing to help me find an item either by giving me the call number or actually walking me over to the item.

Limited parking, bathroom only on first floor (far from adult section), but plenty of tables and study rooms in a light and bright building. I'm glad that Champaign has built this monolith to the soon outdated book storage library, and generously pays for it with their taxes, ever increasing and one of the biggest (if not the biggest) portion of the Champaign town property tax budget. Thank you, Champaign!

Great library! Plenty of books, DVDs, Blu-rays to borrow. Nice place to study too. They have programs for babies, children, teens and adults.

The best library I have every been to. (I'm from Miami and Minneapolis). As a single library it holds the most recent books and media. Simply amazing. organized and clean. Children's area is jaw dropping. Graphic Novel selection is A+. Service people are excellent. Only issue I have so far is the somewhat anaemic art section, but we can probably find those books at the UI.

Honestly the place is great. They have so many movies and books to rent from. But recently whenever I come to the library the staff is undeniably rude and snobby. Now I'm not saying all but some of them are. Not only is it disrespectful but annoyingly frustrating.

The library of self was amazing but I had problems with the security guards. They tend to follow me a lot and they try to just mess around with the books to cover it up but they're just watching me. Me and my girlfriend almost got kicked out because we were searching for a DVD. With the reason of loitering and being too loud, and we were only there for 5 minutes. And I guess showing affection is not allowed in the teen lab anymore? Me and my girlfriend just hugged and they almost kicked us out of the teen lab. It's not even for teens anymore, more like tweenlabs. As a 15 year old teenager I simply couldn't fit in anywhere. Could you guys talk to your staffs, and mainly the security? Thanks

this place is huge!! not ur regular library size...and the best part...ITS QUIET!! IMAGINE THAT! A quiet public library!!...the upstairs part is for adults and the entire downstairs is kids/teens..they even have a cute little patio which ive never seen in any library...u do have the occasional talkers but they keep it down...its very spacious...ill definitely come back, and theres also a quiet room on top..win!

Fairly quiet in the early morning. And super late at night. Very noisy during the day. Staff is hit or miss. Some are very polite and helpful, a few are extremely rude. Oddly selective about enforcing noise violations (possibly just afraid to confront people about their small children, and rowdy students who come in after school lets out). If you study during the day, don't come expecting a quiet environment.

No one was willing to actually come to the computer to help me get the updated version of adobe flash player to run. Just kept telling me to try different computers. Seems like a nice place to bring kids but the staff is very unhelpful.

Nice library. Not quite as dope as the Daniel Boone Regional Library, but hey nobody's perfect ;) The cafe sells coffee for $1 if you bring in your own travel mug. Which I thought tasted good.

Beautiful building. It has a small cafe near the entrance so you can have a cup of coffee as you read. Plenty of seating and tables for research, studying, etc. They also sell their old books in the small shop in the basement.

For the record they have the best chairs I have ever sat in. They have long due dates and do not mined if you spend the whole day in the library. However, they need to supervise the younger kids. It sometimes get way to noisy

Libraries are awesome and this is a good one! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There are comfy and well-lit places to sit and read/study. There is WiFi (free), computers, and printing (for a charge). A café is available if you get hungry or thirsty! All of this right on several of the bus lines as well.

Rent new release bluray and dvd for $2 a week, or request them free. Friends bookshop downstairs has gently used books and movies cheap. New release books rent $2 a week., or request for free.

Thanks to our library, I save $$ in printer and printer ink expense by only paying 15 cents a page when I occasionally need a page. The library staff is always helpful if it is a larger print job by using override key and saving my fumbling efforts at putting in spare change. As a bonus, there's always a book or two (or three) to check out as I leave.
