Everything is nice about this library, JUST WISH PEOPLE GET OFF !!!! The computers if there just on nonsense and let people that are actually trying to do work homework projects success. Stop with the chatting medias and games . Let people use them for school not Facebook time or games. Maybe do something useful and learn something instead of nonsense!

Just want to give out some information that was not presented when receiving a guest printing card. when your card expires after the 3 days any balance left over the library keeps !! Just don't want anyone else losing money. Also watched a mentally disabled adult fall down their stairs and they did nothing to check on her or help her they also still charged her to replace the items broken during the fall even after witnessing the accident. just a little disappointed in the service .

I think the review of Paul Peterson is spot on. Wait times for help from staff is fairly lengthy. All Boise locations as well as Eagle, Star staff much more helpful and courteous. The lines to check in the books through their machines can also take up much of your time. Drop boxes at all other locations are way more convenient.

I just moved into the area and I thought why not have some quiet times with a great book in the library. The place is second to a car dealership with so much people hanging out and laughing their heart out. The children were constantly playing running around, and I thought wow! no one cares! That was in the late afternoon. Then I gave it a try again in the morning, and it was not as bad but, still it would be nice if they keep the noise down. Overall the place is great, clean and friendly staff.

I love the Nampa library. It is so clean, beautiful, and new. They have a big movie selection. I wish they had a larger selection of audio books, but they have OverDrive so you can access more online.

Great place. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Although once I saw and overheard a staff member 55ish guy belittling to an older woman. Good selection. It feels safe and clean.

Love the environment and the new look, upgraded look and services...three stories and computers, clean environment and never out of parking spaces - what's not to love? The patio is a great place to read to your kids in the warm months. Great job, Nampa!

The facilities are nice, but it’s not a good kid’s library. Firstly, the story time is 45 minutes, and to get little kids from the parking garage to story time, check out books, and get loaded again is longer than 1 hr even when you rush. Only the first hour is free parking. Secondly, the kids area bathrooms aren’t conducive to children. The sink’s really high and the stool is tiny (could maybe help an 8 year old reach, not a preschooler). The toilet is loud self flush and huge. My two year old almost cried when it flushed while he was teetering on the giant potty. Thirdly, the only thing to do in the kids area is color. There is one bucket of dull colored pencils and coloring sheets. Consequently, kids just run around in the open area and climb on the seating cushions, and I can’t say I blame them. Personally, I drive 30 minutes to take my kids to Ada Community Library instead. That said, it’s a really nice place for adults to come work and study. Probably a good atmosphere for students as well.

Nampa Library personnel have been helpful instantly and without exception. I'm very happy with the services of this library. When I need to order books, library staff are quick to suggest ways to get it done efficiently. I've never had problems in nearly 15 years.

We love the new building. Street parking is sparse & parking structure is only free for 1 hour. Most kids activities are 1 1/2 hours. Check out computers are slow & check out process has way too many steps.

Disappointed that the hours are short. However, they have a great building and you can borrow an iPad or laptop if the computers are full. Love the terrace and the private meeting rooms!

Disrespectful and rude have to be 18 to rent a book I would never come back and I would never recommend it to anybody. I hope the man at the front desk gets FIRED he was so rude and not help full how does a public library supposed to be a nice environment be so awful.

This Library looks very nice, a lot of work on the aesthetics in design and architecture. That is the only thing pleasing about it. Coming from any Boise library this one is vastly different with due dates and renewals as well as number of items you can check out at one time. Not a huge deal but enough to make me still go to a Boise location on occasion. The hours are not great either, tough with a day schedule. Some of the staff can be rather rude and unhelpful as if they are forced to be there.

Nice building and staff but about 40% of the books I see in the catalog and want to check out aren't actually available through the Nampa library. Very frustrating.

My kids and I lOVE this library! The reason for 3 stars? We wished they stayed open later. By the time I get home from work to take them to the library it's closed. Caldwell stays open until 8, but I really love how this one is newer and has more options in the audio books and my son loves the options for video games. Only way for us is to come on a Saturday, but even then they close at 5 :(. AND the book store they have has weird hours too. I love being able to purchase used books from the library. Caldwell wins on that too. They have it right in the library and it's just on the shelves and you know you can purchase them and take them up front to pay for them. I like that option.

Still prefer the meridian library over this one. Parking sucks. Most of the time you either have to pay to park or park and hike. Not convenient especially when its 98°. Other then that and an ultra slow elevator, the facility is better then average. The environmental controls (AC) struggle when its really hot outside. It was 74° inside last time I visited. If i have any complaints, its the lack of free parking thats close enough to the building.

I was very disappointed ☹️ at the library, every book I looked up either wasn’t in there system at all or wasn’t at that library and I would have had to wait on some list... very sad indeed! I may try again but this experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth about the Idaho library system! The building and facility itself is beautiful, the staff was warm and very helpful.

This nampa library is amazing! Love the parking garage. The three floors and space with numerous computers and lounging opportunities makes for and enjoyable atmosphere. I wish all libraries in treasure vallet were like this
