Rent bikes. Play on VR. Board meetings. 3D printing. This place has just about everything out of such a small space! Impressed with the service and offering of the Meridian library district. This is a great spot and plan on about a 2-3 hour time here. You won’t be disappointed!

I'm super great with technology and Its a fun place to go

Travis Heinze

The guy wasted little time kicking me out for offensive body odor. He said I was welcome back, but I'm too embarrassed to return.

Casey McManus

A great place to go for entrepreneurs, people interested in STEM education, business networking opportunities and other free technology resources.

This place in incredible. They have friendly and helpful staff. And the services and technology they provide the community is astounding. If you have not had a chance to stop by and take a tour, you're missing out.

Meridian Libraries technology center. This place is basically a large open area (converted from a bank I believe), which is clean and professional, and has some incredible resources and a super friendly and helpful staff. Resources include a number of 3D printers, an desktop millng machine, some nice computers for desktop publishing and other stuff (I never used them), and a small fully outfitted recording studio room just holds a couple people, a small lounge area, and some other stuff. Always open to the public. Turn around for 3D prints is usually around 2 weeks. The most reasonable price you can imagine: only pay for the filament used. They have a number of training events here of all kinds. Saturdays they often have stuff for families or kids, and evenings stuff / classes / to help community who want to better themselves, skills, get more out of life or their career, etc.

In a state in which every other public service is getting cut to the bone, the people there really care about developing the community's tech skills. Unreal how you can fully utilize the 3D printers and recording studio for little cost. It's a poor entrepreneur's dream come true so please don't ruin it and make sure this place stays open and funded!!! Thank you Meridian! Why would you go to the JUMP when we have this gem in our area?

Great place with plenty of potential, but the staff is not up to par. They have very little enthusiasm for their work and hardly ever keep track of events or reservations. They also seem to understand very little about the tech they are using. When I asked about specifics on the VR equipment and game design software they were unable to answer my questions. And yet whenever I come by to try something new I am treated like a child as the staff explains the very basics to me over and over again. I recently went to Unbound for a "Tech for the Holidays" event and the staff hadn't even heard of it. Another time I was told I could use the podcast room after a group left so I waited until they had gone and then went to work. About 5min later a different staff member told me I had to leave as the room had been reserved. He then told the guy who had reserved it to "hold on while I kick him (me) out". There was no sign or any notice that the room had been reserved. TL;DR Great tech, crappy staff.

I had some questions about WordPress and someone told me I ought to go to Unbound and see if they could help me. They were unbelievable. Helped me out big time. Alex answered all of my questions. Great bunch of gals & guys down there. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!

I was on a mission to update my commercial GPS for work. I needed to download software. I went to the garden city location first. They were unable to help me but were very helpful in finding someone that could. They sent me to the Meridian location. And they were very helpful. Got my GPS updated and the staff at both places were very helpful and polite and knowledgeable of computers and software. Thank y'all again for your help

This is the most impressive library setup I have ever seen! It's like a cross between: - A maker space (3D printers, Augmented & Virtual Reality Gear, Large Format Printers, whiteboards, etc.) just short a wood shop. - A Business Center (Has a conference room setup which can be reserved for business meetings, and tables for both individual and collaborative use- can seat about 8 comfortably around 1 of the larger tables.) - A Design Studio (All the Adobe Programs, and a MFP capable of creating professional quality, A Canon Rebel t6i with multiple excellent lenses, a conference camera which can be checked out and used elsewhere, and a green screen setup) - A Professional Recording Studio (Granted I've not been inside a true "professional" studio, but they have the whole setup from microphones to software/hardware to keyboards and all contained in a fully sound proof (i think) room AND with those fancy audio foam blocks covering the walls and ceiling completely) - A Standard Library (It has what I call the "book nook" which has some couches and lounge chairs along with a few shelves of books. Perfect for a book club meeting or even a few solo readers. Also, they are extremely kid friendly and love to give people tours of all that's there. This is better than any maker space or other "creative/ideation/learning environment" that you might normally Pay to join and it's all FREE! (of course you have to bcover the costs of 3D printing materials, paper, etc.) But it's the best thing I think a library can and always should have been. I hope to see this replicated in cities all across the country as it's my favorite place to sit and work here in town! I couldn't recommend any other place to a budding entrepreneur, meet up group, or traveling businessman. Its excellent. P.S. If you follow my recommendation and go, just remember to be courteous & respectful (use headphones for music, keep good hygene, step outside to talk on your phone, etc.).
