These people are horrible they threaten to call police especially the blue haired woman she is very disrespectful and they take your stuff and do not give it back they have horrible customer service if you want to have a good time do not do it there Hillcrest 8s a bad place for a library DO NOT GO THERE.

I love their special events. I take my toddler there every week for baby storytime and she loves it. When she gets older, we'll attend other events that they have. Everybody is so helpful and friendly.

They liked a tone deaf disabled kid out there staff arued with him and they are so mean to the kids who go there it is not children friendly I want a place for me disabled tone deaf friends to go it is not here I hope disabled laws and rights get to you cuz can't treat disabled like what I saw cuz he can't her his one voice kicking him out in such a rude way

I’ve gone to these libraries since I was 12. I’m 21 now and am married. My wife and I had a disagreement that we took outside. It didn’t last 5 minutes and the library immediately called the police. Spoke to the police and were let go as we did nothing wrong. I have NEVER seen or experienced this before. I am appalled by their actions as they could have clearly handled the situation better. By the time the librarian was off the phone the disagreement was over. It wasn’t even an argument. Other than that, most of the staff was happy and delightful. I, however, am never coming back to this library as these actions were disgusting.

It is a quiet-enough library to get your personal items/errands done, such as perhaps printing, writing, and what-have-you. It is small but, the staff is nice and helpful enough. Glad it's in my neighborhood, within easy reach!

This location is right down the street from my house and I always enjoy going there. The meeting rooms are quiet and great, and they always have recent releases available on the shelf instead of having to wait for your hold! The staff is friendly and they have even waived some of my late fees. Love this location!

Love this library! Never too busy and staff is friendly. I did pull up too close to the curb in the parking lot and scrap the bottom of my car really bad. But that's not the libraries fault. Highly recommend this library! Just be careful when parking.

If was a nice place to go, but then once when I got up to go to the bathroom a lady working there gave my computer to a kid just because his friends were next to my computer. I told her she had no right doing that especially since there were other computers she could have put him on. I left and never went back.

I've been here several times and the staff is friendly, funny, helpful and accomodating. If you haven't been there, or been there in a while, check it out! It has been remodeled, and is beautiful. I love the many glass enclosed study rooms, perfect for small meetings. And, no charge! Plenty of free parking, too. I love this place!

Extremely nice facility and helpful staff. I came in to get some mandatory education done for work, and use their computer. I live in Boise and work in Nampa. Now, I haven't used libraries much over the years, so I can't say exactly WHEN it changed, but this library was so different from when I was a kid and used to go more often. The difference is that it WAS SO LOUD in there! I was there for several hours trying to get my work done, and I had a hard time concentrating on some challenging subject matter. It was so strange. Everyone was talking in normal voices, and kids were running around. Now, I don't begrudge little children having fun, and I can understand some occasional distractions at a library. I mean, I'm not a monster, but this was FAR from the library etiquette of my youth. Lovely facility, great resource to have in the neighborhood, but don't go there expecting to get any type of studying done. Quiet is not enforced in any way. Very strange.

Staff was nice and helpful. Not an ideal place to go for a quiet studying environment. Got a private room, but it was not soundproof whatsoever. Kids were screaming running everywhere.

Me and my son enjoy going to this place for hours at a time. The library upgrades have been very nice and the CPU area has an occult following of kids who enjoy this place as well. Never seen so many kids willing to come to the library on their own for leisure time.

Love that this library is local to our neighborhoods in Orchard Overland area. Great for pickups and drop offs for check outs from the entire Boise Public Library. Staff is always very helpful and friendly.

Besides the staff being friendly and super helpful, and they just made nice upgrades, it is very sad to see it is like a ZOO/ARCADE game room! So many kids playing games on the computers making all kinds of noise, running around. It is very difficult to enjoy quietness for studying or reading. Very disappointed.
