Only 2 small tables inside for studying. There is a room as well but it's used for activities so hit and miss. There is a snack bar. Great for kids

One of the newest public libraries in Manatee County... Very nice very very courteous employees but most of all I'm very very nice library to do homework look for jobs just find a good book

This library is very unique. It has a cafe inside where you can get soup and sandwich. They have lots of programs going on and their selection is huge.

I have to agree with the other 2 reviews that have been written so far. All of the elderly women who work there (which is all of them) are rude & in a way made me feel disrespected because I showed them respect to begin with. The elderly black woman started turning off the lights about 15-20 mins early and was walking around looking at people like they were already supposed to be outta there. I asked her what time they were closing and she said in a mean tone of voice, "At 6:00 & you only have a few mins!". There was still 15-20 mins left til closing time. She has an evil scowl on her face everytime that I've seen her there & very rude. I won't be nice to her next time I see her. I will treat her with the same attitude...

just might be the best public library I've ever been to. Very neat and organized and they even have a place that you can have breakfast or lunch right in the premises like a little cafe absolutely outstanding

Rude staff. Accused me of "loitering" while I was doing my school work. I was outside on a bench while I was waiting for them to open. She said she would call the cops if I didn't leave. Wow! Definition: loi·ter ˈloidər/ verb gerund or present participle: loitering stand or wait around idly or without apparent purpose.

Good I love the bar the lady that works there is super nice but the lady that work at the library are kind of rude but I love the place still.

Came here to do school work and study while things were hectic at home. Only 2 tables to use. Crying baby the entire time. Kids running around. Adults yelling across the room to each other. There is a kids play area so it stayed noisy. There was an event going on in the private study room that invold a man with a microphone and kids constantly cheering and yelling as well as people non stop going in and out. I know the library is a place to get books and things but I always thought it was to have a quiete space to work. Did my final exam here and it was a miserable experience next time I might as well go to Starbucks and use their WiFi I would probably be better off.
