The library is perfect except one thing, officer ray. She’s always threatening kids. One day there was a fight and she did nothing. People had to do the dirty work instead of her. The staff is VERY nice :D

I came here to find a book for summer reading but I forgot my library card in my other wallet so I asked the librarian if she could look it up with the phone number it's under and she told me I need a source of identification i told i don't have one because I'm only 14 and I don't just carry my student ID everywhere the situation wasn't a big deal but the only reason I got mad was because the way the librarian dealed with the situation was very rude and I can tell you now I'm never coming back to this library.

I try to avoid this library although it’s the closest one to my home. It’s full of homeless who eat, sleep and snore while I’m trying to read, work or concentrate on library material. It is unfathomable how is it possible for a place for reading and quiet time, a place for books and study, to be so poorly managed and to allow panhandlers to abuse the place and disturb us by not allowing us to do our job.

Everytime i go to the library its really annoying the way the security is abusing its power so much that ypu cant even do anything.

Do I have to call the police for this library to get rid of all the panhandlers and bums that take over the entire front seating area and stay the entire day only to be loud, weird and doing nefarious stuff inside and in front of the library??? Please do something about this. I don't want to have to call the police or walk to cityhall next door to file a complaint. No one comes to the library to be harassed for money, constantly having to hear someone laughing loud and hearing people's music while you're studying or worried someone's going to steal your stuff when you're trying to go to the bathroom.

The bathrooms are always clean and in working order. I disagree with the other reviewers , I've been using this library for more than a year now I do not find fault with the service or staff. ☺

A lot of the computers, specially the keyboard are very dirty, greasy and sticky. I ask the front desk for sanitizes wipes and they reply that they don't provide it. I understand everyone that uses this equipment should clean after themselves. I think the Branch should have some kind of sanitize product to self clean the station if the night cleaning crew is not taking care of this matter. This is a health hazard for children and others!

It's disgusting, I just saw bugs on the table walking you can bring home not knowing (don't wanna even say the name of it) yeah never stoping to this library, wow.

Hollywood branch library opens Monday thru Saturday. They have a vast variety of books. There are several restrooms for adults and for kids. They have a reading area for children, they Also have computers and the staff is super friendly and helpful. It has access for wheelchairs. It is never too crowded and it is always quiet. Sundays is closed. You can always donate your old books.

I attend this library 3-4 times a week and the library is great besides 1 thing, the staff are pretty rude. From the desk attendants to the working security guard. The staff literally talk to you any kind of way and 15 minutes before closing, they constantly approach you with an attitude while subliminally telling you to leave. One of the security actually told me: "Aye man, it's time to go" when there was still 10 minutes left before close. I would really like for the staff to be more polite

I've been visiting this library for the past week at least daily, it is one of the best libraries I've been to, its well organized, the bathrooms are clean. the staff is very friendly and their study rooms are spacious. They always have a friendly attitude with visitors, the people that goes there is very nice. In regards to the panhandlers at the front door, there are times that there are too many and they seems to bother people, yet most of the time they are respectful.

The employees at this library are rude especially at the children's section. The bathrooms are always out of order or have a stinky smell. The books are in good shape but there are tears and writing in them. This is the closest Library to my house and I'd rather go to the one in Hallandale or the one at Broward College South Campus.

This guard at the library keeps telling me and my mom to sit down. She is not the boss of my mom so I don't know what she is doing. She needs to know her rightful place as an "Library Guard." I just wanted to say she needs to stay in her place. She keeps insulting me and when I put my money next to me she told me to put it away. We need to call the FBI over here.. She keeps watching me.. XD

Really Good Library HOWEVER the reason Why I give 3 Stars is due that to be a library is WAY TOO LOUD and there's nobody to tell people to keep it quiet. Some people like me or some others that come to read which is what is a library for. Some other people come for the free WiFi so they can watch LOUD videos on YouTube or play Video Games on the Library Computers. Really Hard to study for an exam way to LOUD. ONLY 4 STUDY ROOMS AVAILABLE and no Waiting list 1st come 1st serves. Also very few books of any subjects barely books. Specially about nursing or medicine and they are outdated the staff tells you to go to another library really rude. Other than that great location and good looking library but sometimes the looks is not everything. if you don't believe it or want to waste your time come and see it for yourself.

Staff is rude and mean. Hours are horrible as well. They close at 6 most nights and not open at all on Sunday... That was my review a few moths ago and my assessment from the last few years. However in the last couple months the staff has changed a bit and has become friendlier. Hours are still lacking 10-6 most days and closed in Sunday's. Thus, not allowing working citizens to visit. I have increased my rating by 2 stars.

I like this library. My family and I go there since almost 6 years now. The staff is mixed, some are very friendly, others are just not that nice. This library has endless books for kids, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and books for your kindle as well. Great that you can use your technology from home!!! I love it :)

WORSE library I ever volunteered for and been at the lady at the children's desk constantly harasses children they accused me of trying to get one of them fired because of what they thought I said AFTER FILING a complaint.. They always have a dirty look on there face and the library is a zoo books aren't organized they abuse volunteers i heard the teen coordinator say " I don't care about the teens" they wouldn't inform parents on why there kids have been suspended for which they haven't done anything against the code of conduct. the librarian at the children's desk constantly starts arguments with parents then calls her supervisor. They kick TEACHERS out of tutoring room who are helping students obtain the skills needed to be successful. it is ran by poor management it is opposite of a library.they get the quiet kids in trouble and let the bad ones stay. when i asked an adult reference librarian where a book was or how to obtain information she states " i don't know" with a harsh attitude. the bathrooms constantly have this stinky smell. the customer doesn't come first at this location. i live 0.25 miles away from the library but i ride to south regional on my bike because of the better service. the staff need a attitude adjustment and they all need to get there act together.

You do not find interest in public service, it's a shame Florida residents have no access to quality educational tools, just like most south Florida libraries this one only has extended hours on Monday and Tuesday which makes it useless for most residents. If there is a community that could benefit from a good library that would be the vicinity of Hollywood
