Wonderful library. They offer programs for kids, adults, teens and now have a LBGT section. For a small town, they are the tops. The Circle of Friends of the Gulfport library offers used books for sale as well as a rack of free books. The librarians have always, in the 28 years I have lived here, been attentive, friendly and helpful whenever I have had a question. I wholeheartedly reccomend this library.

This is the noisiest library I have ever been to. I come here to study for school because it is close to my house, but all of the talking that's permitted here is a huge distraction. It can be very frustrating.

Recently remodel, this is a great library to take your kids for quiet time. Employees very helpfull. Small, fenced, garden to sit and read.

An excellent selection of books (after all they are also plugged into the entire county) and a super used book section where you can get books for next to nothing. They also have some of the cleanest restrooms and offer evening activities such as chamber music. We've enjoyed many activities at this branch and are grateful to the staff.

Very nice building and selection. Even nicer staff. Loud like a daycare 1/2 the time. I mean that literally. If you require quiet to work or study your better off going to the food court at the mall.

This is not a library. It is the home office and playground to some very inconsiderate folks. I came in today to do some work and the noise level was louder than a playground. Children were running all over, screaming and throwing furniture! When I asked the librarian why they weren't addressing the issue I was told it's the children's area and "we let kids be kids".Wow! So kids throwing around furniture that doesn't belong to them is acceptable. Explains a lot about the level of entitlement in Pinellas County and the low level of education here. I'm new to the area and absolutely blown away. Apparently, in Florida quiet libraries are a thing of the past.

The computer system is not as updated as other libraries in the county so the internet connection is weak & ur time is too limited to use them.

Like a small town library only better. Great staff. Access to library collections through out the county. Programs are abundant and fabulous. First LGBTQ lending collection in Florida.

Lovely staff and amazing book selection, especially their (literally award winning) LGBTQ collection! They also host a wide variety of community events and provide space for things like AA/NA meetings, fundraisers, plays, (I could go on...).There is lots of seating and a beautiful reading garden. That being said, if you are someone who requires peace and quiet in a library this is not the place. The staff do their best to keep the noise level down but this is a very popular library, especially for little kids.

This library is clean and attractive, with an open layout, seperate children's and teen sections, a wide selection of books, magazines, dvd and audio books, books for sale, a meeting room, great programs, and helpful staff.

grate library with good facilities could have gotten all 5 stars however the wifi is poorly set up and doesn't provide good coverage. There is a Teen area that uses up part of the library where the teens don't go they use the adult area instead!

Lovely staff and a great selection of books on sale for 25c! Take a book to the bay window with the stained glass panel. Try and read. It’s hard because there are HUGE butterflies outside of the glass!!!
