We love this library. I take my children to the classes and they enjoy playing with the orange bags. My daughter lives when she can check out an American Girl Doll. On nice weather days we pack a lunch and play on the playground. It is always clean and the staff is very helpful.

Don't get me wrong, this library is beautiful. Extremely clean, open space. The material selection is astronomical, you can lose track of time from picking up books that look interesting and reading through them. They have a few study rooms along with sitting areas and desks out in the open. There's a room called Innovation Lab, they have a 3D printer and green screen. I thought that was really cool. Last but not least there's a drive thru if you don't have time to go inside. But seriously, what is up with all of the noise and weird patrons???? No matter what time of the day you come (morning, afternoon, evening) young children are usually screaming, crying, throwing tantrums, and behaving aggressively. I realize this isn't the library's fault, we just live in a generation where kids are spoiled crybabies. However children acting disruptive in a library is completely inappropriate. Libraries are a place where people come to do work, whether it's for school or their job. Toddlers and other age groups of kids acting out is inconsiderate towards other people who are using the library, and if parents don't have the intelligence to know when it's time to go home, then maybe the employees should be more proactive in asking them to leave if they can't control their children. One of the times I was here this guy was using a computer in the adult section while also wearing headphones, and he actually passed gas O__O Not to mention it was loud, and he didn't even excuse himself. It's really sad how libraries are turning into unpleasant places from people being so disgusting and uncouth. Overall, this library is great for browsing through books, but as for spending the day and lounging in the chairs, I would seriously rethink that and go somewhere else. I do plan on coming back. Despite the bratty children and gross adults I still love this library, it's an awesome resource to the community.

My experience was the worst. The staff was very short tempered and made it seem like an extreme hassle to help me with my issue. I also needed to print a few scientific articles and found out it costs 25 cents per page. That is the most outrageous price I have seen at a public place for printing. Don't waste your time here. Try another branch.

The "private" rooms are still noisy. You can hear people from other private rooms talking. Hold your sweater, private rooms can get very cold.

After 7 months of waiting for our beautiful library to reopen. I was very disappointed. It looked like a store that was going out of business. Even the people that worked there didn't like it. There is no information desk anymore. I am sorry but I was very sad to see my beautiful library sterile and cold.

Very well lit, ample space to sit and work with convenient charging ports, beautiful scenery for inspiration, and clean interior. First time here and it's already my new study spot. Only one complaint: Here I am super cautious about my bag's zipper being too loud and here comes kids and the workers speaking like their life depends on everyone hearing them.

I love this library. Its very modern and clean! They have a huge selection in Dvds and books! I love picking out my 10 dvds from this Library than the one in Bel air. The staff are very professional and friendly. I love the big open windows they have that look out to the pretty view outside. They have top of the line everything here! Plenty of places to sit and lots of study quiet rooms you can go to. Its quiet and very neat. I love coming here!

I live in Doral, FLORIDA. I stopped this library on the way to Washington DC when we were traveling from NYC this spring break. I was surprised so much surprised because our town Doral only have 2 small library which has like small book store. this place is awesome not only library this is better than Barns and Nobles. I wish our town spent more money to make renovate to Library not to build more houses and gardening.

I've been coming to this library since I moved to MD from NJ four years ago, and I find this facility as second to none. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and study spaces are clean. I tried other libraries in Harford County including Joppa library, since I live in Joppa, but I keep returning to Abingdon. A great place with plenty of activities for kids and adults, and overall a quiet place to study, which helps my studying abilities. I highly recommend this library.
