The worst library I've ever been in. I travel for business and frequently use libraries all over CO. Apparently this library is used primarily by the homeless and therefore every seat/table is constantly occupied. This was midday during the week, when children were in school and must people were at work. I made the rounds trying to find a place to sit numerous times and asked staff for assistance several times. I've never encountered such rude library staff and wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

Small and crowded so expect noise and kids, but they have a lot of computers too use!

Henry Martinez

I love the location of this library, although the homeless always come and use up all of the computers while also asking you for change and whatever else you may have. It could provide better safety measures as well.

Gary Thompson

Smaller branch, quiet, friendly place.

Stuff are very polite and helpful, if you have a situation they are willing to work with you you just need to be honest about the situation.

I went to this library to work on a project for school because our computer at home was having technical difficulties when my time on the computer ran out I went to the front desk to ask for more time because I hadn't finished and there was still many computers open. When I asked the worker at the front desk she told me that they couldn't give me more time. I was upset because when I looked back at the computers there was another student who had been there before me who was playing games but he kept getting more time added on. I believe it was completely unfair that a student who was playing games on the computer was given more time than a student who was using their time for their education .

Ms. Teesha

Most comfortable environment, great place for my toddler to be his self, to a certain level of course.

Overall I like this library. It only frustrates me that they tend to close about 5 minutes early everyday I get that they like to go home early but often I am rushing to try and get there when I get off of work many times I have been there at 5 minutes before closing time to pick up a hold that will take me less than 5 minutes to get in and out and their doors are closed and locked. And they often open 5 minutes late several times I have tried to come in on my way to work and I've had to wait till 9:05 or 10:05 depending on the day. I know it's not like another business but my boss would get fired if he opened the store five minutes late and closed it 5 minutes early every day.

So i dont recomend here at all it is a dirty unsafe place where they let meth and harion user do their drugs in the bathroom and then leave dirty needles all over the bathroom then they will accuse you of stealing and they dont allow service animals even tho policy states you can have a service animals in there and my service cat is in a kennel and i got kicked out of the library for 2 weeks and i also had the cops called on me twice when i call out how they will harass you and discriminate not caring if you are a veteran or not and they let people dig through their trash cans then let them go touch everything

I was typing at a computer my wife 7 months pregnant grabbed a vacant seat and sat behind me because I'm technology impaired. One of the men working asked my wife to put the chair back and she did. I wanted to explode, make my pregnant wife put her chair back! But I was So taken back, I sat there deer and headlights. So I gave her my chair and proceeded to do my work on my knees. If you have a shortage of chairs use my tax money that I pay and get more. My wife restrained me from exploding in there so I'm doing it here, very disappointing.

Our libraries are the only place young people can catch a moment to relax and learn a little something. I always see someone here who needs a break, and the library here provides that. Thank you!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Offers classes to public. Able to walk in find what your looking for or browse. This branch is active but not crowded. Plenty of parking

Vijay Persaud

Some of the staff are nice but the rest think there are officer only toward people of color

Staff is friendly and helpful. And the PPLD's online hold system that allows you to simply come in and checkout your items when they are available is awesome! This branch also has a book/movie checkout machine that allows you to place a while stack of items to be scanned out all at once - love the technology! If you're a Kindle fan, you can even check out ebooks via PPLD's Overdrive - pretty awesome.

A little bit of everything: meeting space, computers, wifi, and a great little children's center.

So, I walk in moments after they open. I have my coffee in a spill proof mug and my laptop, so that I may comfortably search for jobs. I go to a table with chairs and proceed to set down my stuff. I am then approached by one of the librarians and told that this is not a table and the chairs shouldn't be there. I then ask where I can sit down with my laptop, she points to these chair that have a foot wide, 2 foot long "desk" attached to the arm, not ideal for comfortably working on a laptop at all. I am then told that I must leave my coffee, even though it's in a spill proof container at the front door as they do not allow any food or beverages in the library. They say it's because a Walmart Neighborhood Market is right next door and people tend to linger over with food and drink, not a good excuse in my book. Sooooo, I walked out. Not a pleasant library at all. I later went to the main library in town Pikes Peak Public Library, and was able to walk straight in, sit down comfortably WITH my coffee and begin writing this review!

Fantastic library to kill a few hours reading, browsing the web, or watching some videos (with earbuds of course). Spent several hours here while waiting for a flight out of COS airport. The place is clean, well lit, and has comfortable chairs.

L Edwards

Not only do they not have reservations here (so the homeless and neighborhood children can play all day on the computers that are supposed to only be used for one hour each day), but the kids are playing video games and talk non-stop. Heaven forbid you need to actually concentrate on something important. The librarians periodically come over and ask the kids to "keep it down", but the kids ignore them and there are no consequences, so why should they care? If you need to do something important, go to another library. This one is obviously just a summer daycare.

Extremely noisy library. Very difficult to read here with even the staff speaking at full volume and patrons on their phones. I come to a library for peace a quiet. To be away from all the cacaphony. Don't come here if that's what you seek.

In the face of needing to put a star, I only put one. I would not give this library a star rating at all if I could post with out it. I went to this library to do some work and research. I bring my own computer with me. I sat at a table with little room, and plugged my computer in. My husband found the study room and helped me to get in there. I say helped, because I am in a wheelchair, and need help moving my computer. The sign on the door says First come First serve. I wasn't even in that room for 2 minutes, before the security comes over and kicks us out saying that a guy reserved the room. The room is not large, but has two large tables in it, with at least 10 chairs. Plenty of room for a couple people. There was no other place for me to work, so we left the library. We went to another site, running out of gas on the way. We have no money for gas, and I am disabled. Doesn't the ADA have laws about discrimination against the disabled. There is NO reason we should have been kicked out when the door clearly says "First Come First Serve". My family will NEVER go to that crap hole of a library again. Especially since it is not Handicapped Friendly.

I come to this library often... The staff will help you but a few of them are really rude about it. Also, the only other issue i have is they're ALWAYS closed when it snow's. Even if it barley snow's outside!

Sad little library. Hardly any books. Too many people being allowed to eat. Zero regard for loud children. Scary parking lot. Low-income area. I use it solely to pick up books transferred from other libraries and for returns. Staff is always nice and helpful whenever I have had a question.

Lucien Martinez

I've up to this library three and each time I've come to this library there would be guys in the restroom doing drugs and needles are left on the floor. So would never come to library again

Ben Pacot

The staff is very polite, friendly, and professional. I've been coming here for years and they always do a good job in assisting and answering questions when needed.

Vanessa Martinez

I have never searched for a book and it actually come up, whether it's in the library branches or already checked out. For how many branches there are and how many books you can find in each location, it sure is hard to come by something good or something you're looking for. Better off going down to pueblo or up to Denver

Nice library

I hate it. I couldn't sit next to my sister and help her on her homework a few weeks ago, she needed the computer so I sat next to her. A worker came over and said I need to leave. I told them that I was helping my sister and they said no so I got kicked out because I wouldn't move. My sister got an f on her project because I got kicked out.

I work with special needs clients and apparently they have a problem with my clients taking their medication at their specific time. They would rather them taking it before they come or in the bathroom smh. Won't be going back to this library. Thank you ppld.

Jorden Mutlugunes

Oh this library is nasty and dangerous. The homeless are drinking alcohol and doing drugs in the bathrooms, then the neighborhood children running around screaming and being loud. Children are playing video games on the adult computers when they have a designated area to be in. Librarians are not helpful at all neither.

Paul Sease

Friendly people this election of DVDs books are good selection comic books are good selection Paul dj sease
