The building is nice and the staff are incredibly friendly. Selection is slightly small, but you can order books from the rest of the district without too long a wait. It has a great small town library feel while also fulfilling all my library needs.

What a great library! The staff is SUPER nice and helpful! The children's section is just outstanding--all designed and decorated to look like a castle--with bridge and all. The librarian that usually does the story hours is amazing herself!! I love taking my grandson here.

Quiet library with a selection that suits the size of the town, but you can order books that they don't have, takes a while though. Staff seems friendly enough. Very strict on giving out library cards compared to Loveland or Fort Collins, wouldn't let my young child have one until they knew our address by heart, just a little weird. Clean facility with quiet study areas.

I always was enamored with this library. It is a welcoming and beautiful place with and jaw-dropping kids' area. They have reading programs for toddlers through adults. They display local schools' art projects and host wonderful events throughout the Summer.

Been to many libraries , this library offers a place to sit n.read n study but at a cost. The staff at front desk use it as a social club for there friends who come in ,for the serious patrons who use it it is very loud n noisy between 11:am to 3 : PM. Constant cellphone use ,n loud laughing the echoing is most terrible .The etiquette of a true library is not adhered to.Very frustrating .I go to Hayes market to read n study ,much quieter, n has a fireplace to boot . Please have a Round table with the loud staff and emphasize that it's a library not a social gathering at the gym. Decibel meter I used puts noise level at avg.52 to 56 decibels, acceptable range is 45 decibels in a library ,thanks to my meter n research ,F.Y.I Thank you Robert Vale

The staff is amazing here and the library is one of the best I’ve been to. My kids and I both love this place. The children’s area is exceptional and they offer a wide variety of classes and activities for all ages. Johnstown is lucky to have such a great library!

Best library in the area. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. I am really impressed when they know my name. What an amazing team! I also like the variety of books at this library. I went to a different library a while back that had mostly demon based books. I prefer the more mature reading found at the Johnstown Library.
