Not very nice people that work there. It seems they want it lily white in there. Who am I to deny them their utopia?

James Harris

It's very small, but the staff is unbelievably helpful, and they can place orders to Denver's other libraries; deliveries get made multiple times per day. I'm so glad I live within walking distance of this place! They're on the ball with technology too: wi-fi, great website, and a library card that fits on your keychain. I'll definitely be coming back here!

This is the best little neighborhood library. The staff are so sweet and so friendly. Even though it's a small building, you can order any book you want and it will be delivered pretty quickly (assuming there aren't a bunch of people ahead of you!) Love that it's within walking distance for all of Edgewater. If you don't have a library card - go get one!

The people who work here are rude and can’t even read. How hard is is to read The First Amendment Freedom of The Press. Policy is not the law you can not enforce any policy that goes against the law that what tyrants do. By the way Benjamin Franklin one of our founding Father founded the Public Library dusters he wanted people to be educated unlike these tyrants they hated what he founded and stand for True Freedom.

Worst hours ever. Who closes at 5 on a Friday and Saturday? Apparently this library is only for the unemployed.

Kim Briggs

It's a nice, small library. There's also a recreation center located on the premises, along with a small museum dedicated to Edgewater history.

Edgewater Library is definitely the BEST Jeffco Library. I have two kids and they both love going there. We go at least once a week. All the staff members know my name, ask how I am doing and speak directly to my kids to see what he has been reading. If I can't find a book on the online portal. He says lets go to Edgewater they will know lol The crafts and activities are amazing. I consider the everyone there an extension of my family. If you like the family feel go to Edgewater.

Ian part of the staff comes off as a rude punk. For people hanging out around books all day you sure haven't bothered to read the constitution.

Family friendly, organized, LOVE the ppl there, my family and I have known them for a long time, hospitable, just all in all wonderful.

This library has excellent staff and service. They have areas allocated for kids to play, teens and even for adults who would like to sit and just pick up a book and read. Their staff is very helpful and friendly. This is my go to place when I don't have anything to do and just want some peace and quiet.

Very nice it's been a much anticipated wait for the completed construction and opening.. Very nice design and structural design. The only downer for me is the closing time at 5 pm. Other than that my granddaughters enjoyed exploring the library as did I.

Edgewater has a great library. There's friendly people on staff, nice reading areas for all age groups, and a good collection on hand. Highly recommended!

The Edgewater Library is just like the town: tiny and friendly. What this library might not feature in size, it makes up for in skilled selection and resources. It also seems very family-friendly, in that about half of the in-house catalog is comprised of children's books. I found the staff to be superbly helpful, and it's very easy to get online at home, find any book in the area, and it shows up at the EL within a few days. I also appreciated the ease of getting a library card; trying to get a library card at the Denver Library required more documentation than I or my roommate had. Edgewater accepted just my out-of-state license and I was ready to rock and read.

I get movies from here, Staff is always friendly!

Just visited this library for the first time. I was shocked to see how cozy it really is. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, and the staff was welcoming to me to return. I can see this being a great location to pick up books on hold from.

Filming supposedly isn't allowed.

It's new, it's extremely local and very friendly and the answer to find the answer to any question ... Is The Library !! (and that's any library, especially this one)

We love our neighborhood Edgewater Library! The librarians are amazing and even reserved a book they knew our daughters would love. We reserve books and movies online and pick them up right here in Edgewater. I definitely recommend this library!

Beautiful place to visit, I have only one question what is the reasoning to have every isle with a sign above the isle in English and also in Spanish, since the books in/on the isle are only in English, none written in Spanish, if a person speaking only Spanish see this they may get confused, if a person from an other country see this, they may feel offended, that their language is not used there, I surly would like to know the purpose of Spanish in North American library above only English written books. I could see the need to have Spanish written sign above Spanish written books, there it will make sense. Home depot and other places got the message and changed their sing WE SPEAK YOUR LANGUAGE, when it will happen in american library ?

Big things come in small packages!!

I went into the library on a Tuesday in the middle of the day. I asked the person at the desk if I could use one of their three study rooms, I know they are busy but she said, there was one empty for two hours. I asked if she was sure, that seemed strange to me, and she said, no one will be using it for at least two hours if not more. I sit down, and begin to work and 20 minutes later another employee comes in and tells me I have to move. She lectures me on taking study rooms without a reservation! I ask her to talk to the original employee who told me it was ok to sit down. But no one knows who that is! I guess she was a ghost. The employees run around like headless chickens for 10 minutes trying to figure out what to do. I moved. Then another employee comes in and tries to lecture me about having a bad attitude. The nerve. So the moral, use the library but avoid the crazy, passive aggressive employees at all costs.

Edgewater Library is the most friendliest library in Jeffco especially to families and children,. When you go there, it has that warm and cozy feeling The staff is excellent, they make you feel very welcomed and help you in any way. My son who is a student at Jefferson High School loves to go there everyday; all I hear when he leaves is "mom I am going to the library." I highly recommend this library!!!

I LOVE this library -- such great people work there! The building is rather tiny, but I can go online and have things transferred here, and it is so close and convenient. It must be a hidden gem because I mention it to some people and they did not even know Edgewater had a library! I love the library and all that it offers, and the people there are truly its greatest treasures. If you need anything at all, they will bend over backwards to help you.
