A calm and quiet place of Library

They are currently doing some construction on the outside so there is a lot of dirt and dust everywhere but the inside of the library is well taken care of. They separate the kids section from the adult section. Lots of computers around and the librarians are very nice.

As a traveler, I like to visit the library for free WiFi access. What I don't like is that this library is anything but quiet. You can be assured there will be screaming kids whose parents do nothing to quiet them, and the staff doesn't seem to care. So, if you're looking for a place to study, don't choose here. If you want to use their computers or hook into their WiFi, good choice.

Definitely not a kid friendly place with the drug addicts, alcoholics and sex offenders. I inow of 2 men that are on the registry (Thomas Hale of Auburn...the other I forgot last name) that are for some reason allowed to go there even though there is a school near by. I will getting a petition and letter going and give it to the writers club and parents and let them decide if they want the losers to live there. I say NO SEX OFFENDERS and make a limit on how long you can be on the computer. Other counties have a 2 hour a day max. And they don't have a parasite problem. What say you? Get rid of the perverts around our children. Btw...one loves teenagers, and the unsupervised kids after school are prime targets. I saw a druggy talking to some of them outside for a long time one day.

The local library houses a wide selection of books for small children, teens, adults, and older folk. Featuring separate areas for each age group respectively, there is an extremely easy to maneuver main area with a help and checkout desk in the middle. If you can't be bothered with human interaction, two self checkout and book/DVD terminals are also available, as well as two tables of computers that can be used for research, work, games and anything else. The entrance is led up by a small set of stairs, or a ramp for disabled people. The walk-in has two automatic sliding doors, and occasionally they won't register movement, causing them to open slower than expected. To the left of the entrance are two restrooms, and a water fountain. Further to the left is recreational room, which is frequently rented out, and used by the library staff as well.

We love the auburn library. We have meetings here, rent DVDs, music, and books. Newly renovated with new access, outdoor seating, new drive thru drop boxes. Helpful staff is friendly and professional.
