This is a world class library.

Open 24/7 for students. And has a bunch of space for different kinds of group study or lone study.

One of my favorite places to study. There are both group study rooms and silent study zones. Being at the center of the campus with greenery around and cool architecture, it helps keep the motivation levels up. Feels like how a library should feel. Just go to the first level if you want some quiet.

When pulling an all nighter for finals they brought out coffee tea and snacks, great place very relaxing.

This library may be nice but its accessibility is terrible. unless you live on campus, there is no where near the library to park, let alone a free place to park (on the weekends). What are off-campus students supposed to do? It makes the whole facility unusable

PROS: This library offers lots of seating options and workspace, several computers (requires ASU log-in), nearby printers, and a generally very quiet working environment. If the library doesn't have something on the shelves, it is likely to have a digitized version online. Open 24 hours. CONS: It gets a little bit crowded during high traffic times, so don't always plan on your favorite seat being open, but it's not too bad most of the day. Note: This library is very student-centric, so you'll have to double-check the rules if you aren't directly affiliated with ASU.

Great library with amazing amount of resources!

Really great library with ample space and computers for students. Their selection of materials is vast and they also partake in interlibrary loan so you can virtually acquire anything you would need here, even the most obscure texts.

It was great, but now you can only study in the basement. Although at least they stay open at night

"The Underground Library", the Hayden Library is a quiet environment where peers can work on group project on one floor, and individuals can find absolute silence in upper floors. The library extends underground and also into a building on the other side of the pathway its under. Study rooms will help groups study for tests or work on projects. Everything is well kept and Hayden just feels like a proper library. Overall, this is my favorite library at ASU and find myself going back to it to either study or explore Hayden itself.

The library feels terribly outdated, with lots of empty awkward spaces, hideous interior design, very annoying white lights reminiscent of a hospital, and only about 10 group study rooms. Are you kidding me? This is my first semester at ASU and I'm very disappointed by it. To whoever is calling this a world-class library, you clearly haven't been to many libraries. Their collection may be good and I do appreciate the fact they are open 24 hours during the week, but the ambiance is not ideal for studying. Good thing this place is getting demolished. Too bad it didn't happen sooner.

My go to study spot on campus. My breaks in between campus takes me to Hayden. The only critique is the study rooms in Hayden need an update.
