The Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records facilities in Phoenix have an amazing collection. During the years Michele Reagan was Secretary of State the library was forced out of their home at the Capital and moved into a building a few blocks away. Unfortunately, the new accommodations doesn't support the large reading room and quick access to books they once had at the old location. The new reading room is comfortable, located on the second floor of the Archives building. Books not available on the open shelves can be requested from storage. The room also features a a large microfilm viewing area with updated equipment. Additionally, the AMP (Arizona Memory Project) has been working to digitize many of the periodicals so they can be accessed for free from the internet. Great project and an amazing staff. LOVE the Library!
