I personally love libraries, and this is by far the best library in Juneau. The collection is vast, the place is never crowded (that would be almost impossible, given the size) and there are few other places you can go to get that quiet sense of being literally surrounded by knowledge. Plus there's a little coffee spot right outside the door. That's always good. For those who don't care for books, the online resources are also plentiful, and backed up by the kind of bandwidth you only find at a university. If there's a downside, it would be that the library hours are tied pretty closely to the university school year, so that for example the largest library in Juneau shuts down for "winter break."
