I have only been to the museum section. Some very interesting items and some great history of the town and America. The small town of Seward is a very historical place, so take advantage of it well your in town. Also i bought a disk ( had to ask for it) of the 1964 earthquake. Larned so much

(Translated by Google) (Original) Good. 20190607.(20190606-0609(1人自駕遊)阿拉斯加 初夏 冰河之旅 ) Seward Community Library & Museum 蘇爾德社區圖書館暨博物館 這幢外觀及內裝看起來都很新的建築，外牆有藍色、紫色色系、感覺頗為閃亮的磁磚，以及大幅的歷史照片、色彩鮮艷的童話風格壁畫。具體展現1樓是博物館、2樓是公共圖書館，典藏文化、提供知識、服務市民及大眾的功能。 我當天到訪時，已經不是博物館的開放時間，無緣參觀博物館(依據當天看到的公告看板，參觀博物館須付費13歲以上每人4美元)。而圖書館，一如預期還是在開放時間，開放到傍晚18:00。美國是圖書館很發達的國家，這個觀光港口城市的公共圖書館也不例外，館藏、設備及空間多元，紙本圖書、電子書、影音視聽資料、當地文獻、公用電腦及線上資料庫、無線網路(如同美國其他地區是5G的wifi)、研究室、兒童室、面對海景山景的休閒閱讀區等，入口旁的區域，還有幾櫃特別布置的書櫃，提供贈送給讀者的圖書，數量不少。 20190608(週六)上午8:30至下午17:30我搭乘遊船參加 NorthWestern Glacier西北冰河之旅，回到Seward蘇爾德之後，再前往我住宿的旅館Marina Motel 隔著大馬路對面的Seward Depot (Alaska Railroad Corporation)蘇爾德火車站、港口及市區逛逛。 每年6月是阿拉斯加白天時數最長的月份，以我此次阿拉斯加小旅行20190606-0609住宿3天，在 Kenai Peninsula基奈半島的 Seward蘇爾德市為例，6月每天的白天時數大約在18至19小時之間，日出是在凌晨4點多，日落是在晚間11點多，所以天黑的時數大約只有5至6小時。 因為白天時數很長，所以每天可以在戶外活動的時間也較長、可去的景點因而較多。我每天上午至下午四、五點鐘之前，參加一個遊程之後，回到Seward蘇爾德市區，還可以再安排去市區內的景點逛逛，再去Safeway超市買晚餐吃，天還是亮的。

I stopped by there yesterday. Iwent into the museum ,I was not charged but today I noticed it's a 4 dollar charge. It was interesting i learned a lot about Alaska and took afew photos. I am posting 10 photos of museum.

Normally-This place is Great! The staff are really nice. Today It was not. I come in there regularly and a few staff member had told me I can use the laptop to watch movies. If another staff member works and they want to tell me you cant use that to watch movies because it over heats. They should just say that. Instead of TELLING me that, the "director" as she claims-said what are you using that laptop for? Are you using that laptop to watch movies? I told her a few staff offered that to me a while back. I told her that if she is telling me otherwise- she should just TELL ME. She didn't. She bothers me because she was just Prying. It's just manners.

Bathroom smells like loaded diapers 24/7. There was better ventilation in an aushwitz shower.
