Washer I used didn't extract the water from the laundry. Soaking wet laundry after 27 minutes waiting. They won't refund your money. Had to carry them to another washer and pay more money. Kids running everywhere. Will NEVER GO there again

Last night I dropped off ONE load of laundry to be washed. They said its $1 something a lbs minimum 10 lbs. Sounded fair and the lady was nice. Today I stop to pick it up and a different lady was there. I had to wake her up to ask for my laundry. Seriously she was asleep on the counter. She charges me $22 I said that's too much. She weighed it and it came to 13 lbs I said that's not $22. She said pay just pay 22 if I want my clothes. 4 paints, shirts socks and underwear. Cost me $23. I get back to the hotel I at for the week and theyy are still wet. But if they weighed them dry It would've been less the 10lbs.

Rip OFF... NO HOT WATER.. and attendant was not forth coming due to Owner's instruction. DISHONEST BUSINESS.. I spent nearly 3 hours on 5 loads.. costing nearly $22 with drying and extrusion machine fees. I am stunned to learn that the Owner condones lying and other in his business of +15yrs. I think the Owner need reimburse EVERYONE.. apologize Pulbicly to Everyone.. or this place should be shut down! Go to other legitimate businesses.. and REPORT these BAD Businesses and Owners accordingly! I can only guess how many people have unwittingly RIPPED OFF over the YEARS!

I'm hoping that this review is seen by the owner of Washboard Laundromat.. I'm so thankful to have found this laundromat. The manager Deb and the evening gal Jazze do a wonderful job of maintaining this laundromat. They both interact well with the client there and desire to make sure the clients are happy and that their needs are met ...this is quite clear and their interaction with the people that come and go. The place is the cleanest laundromat I've ever seen since I left the state of Maine. My father opened up the first laundromats in the state of Maine back in the fifties. In Brunswick, Bath,Bangor, Portland and Lewiston. They were always spotless and always had an on location employee to assist the clients as well as do laundry for the public. This quite represents what I was used to seeing back in Maine. Anyway I can't say enough about Deb and Jazze... they are great workers, hard workers and personable to the public thank you so much. And their hearts really do care about how the public sees the place and that it is kept spotless.not an easy task, concidering the traffic that flows through that place!! Kindest Regards, Cathy

The place was ok but the "tacky" attendant was less than cordial to put it nicely. We carried our laundry in, I started to sort while my husband proceeded to use the restroom. When he asked if he needed a key she looked up from her book only to say in such a manner as if he were a bum off the street, "Are you washing here?" He was taken back by this since we had just brought 5 loads of laundry in from the car right in front of her. He stated that yes he was and if she would have bothered to look up from her book she would have known that. She immediately caught an attitude and pretended to be innocent. My husband has been a victim of "Racial profiling" (he is a proud hard working, Mexican American born in the USA) on more than one occasion. The way this so called "attendant" treated him told us this was nothing less than yet another act of "Racial profiling". When he asked for the owners phone number she eventually gave him a "wrong" number. When he went back and asked for the correct one she said that was all she had. Once I heard how she had treated him I then proceeded to collect my laundry and take it to another laundromat where we were treated warmly and attentivley by someone who was not strung out on illicit drugs. The washers were nicer and less expensive too. Needless to say, don't go where your dirty laundry is actually cleaner and smells better than the attendant "working" there. Peace!

4 loads of laundry cost $14. Many of the dryers dont get hot.(#14 top and bottom)of Which i notified attendant. Before you dry, feel the glass on running dryers and save yourself an extra $1-2.

Great place to do laundry. Extra large machines for my comforters. Debbie, manager, was very helpful. She is busy, busy, busy always cleaning! I certainly enjoyed her enthusiasm. She was definitely a delightful person to have in such a public place. I will be back!

Heroin heaven, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with kids! There's at least one full blown heroin addict working there with multiple felonies, one less than a year old (public record) Recently visited family & got the shock of my life when I went to wash & dry a few clothes - I know this gal because she used to buy heroin & pills from my cousin, who's also a heroin addict I would NOT recommend this place to anyone with kids, I know when I visit, I won't be using it (especially not while my nieces & nephew are with me) This employer is a real fool for not drug testing (and more than once) - also I am really surprised he doesn't check criminal records, as well I can't help but wonder if she is providing him with a service outside of the laundry? Heroin addicts bring more with them, they bring drug traffic, theft, & usually have HIV or Hep C or both - prostitution isn't uncommon, either I can definitely say I won't be using this laundry ever again should I decide to drive up for the holidays (I'm originally from the area)

We came in with tons of washing from vacation at the beach and were unfamiliar with laundrymats. Debbie came to the rescue and helped us figure everything out. She was friendly and helpful. People usually complain about poor employees but seldom praise the outstanding ones like Debbie!

I can verify what another reviewer said: There was No Hot Water in the washer, even though Hot was selected. I tested it by putting my hand in the water flow in the detergent add bin on top. On Hot the water was only room temperature both on wash cycle and rinse cycle. But there was hot water in the sink in the restroom. Fortunately, the clothes came out clean anyway. It's been a year since the other reviewer posted about it and the owner still hasn't fixed it. So I assume that they have left it that way on purpose to make more $$ not having to pay for hot water.

WISH I COULD RATE IT LOWER THAN A STAR. RUDEST old lady that works here. 1- Gets mad because HER vending machine is so old and doesn’t work so when i told her i had tried to get some cookies for my son and the machine just didn’t push it out enough all i got was “well it’s an old machine so..” 2-My son is three, VERY WELL BEHAVED, grabs him and tells him to stop running, when he was right next to me??? 3-My sons sitting down watching a movie, I’m waiting for my clothes to get out of the dryer while watching my 1 year old just walk back and forth in front of me, she opened a front load washer just to look inside and the lady comes up and says, “You know what, these washers are out of order because kids keep playing with them. Can you just get her and don’t let her mess with things.” A ONE YEAR OLD!! WHAT THE HECK COULD MY ONE YEAR OLD DO TO BREAK A MACHINE, ESPECIALLY WHILE IM STANING RIGHT THERE WATCHING EVERYTHING SHES DOING?!?!? I get it that sometimes kids misbehave and make messes and cause problems, but i promise i am not lying when i tell you my kids were being so so so good today, i even bought them a donut because they behaved so well. So i don’t know what caused her to wake up on the wrong side of the bed and think that it’s okay to just pick fights and be rude, but if this is the person you’re gonna have running this place, i don’t even know... Just so rude, so uncalled for. Is it only a Texas thing to be friendly?? I mean obviously it is

Went to this laundromat hoping it was better than busy bubbles... I got my wish! It was clean and well maintained and the attendant Debbie was friendly and extremely helpful! I will definitely go back here next time I have to do laundry... even if it is a little further to drive! I love the idea of having someone on the premises just in case a machine malfunctions!
