We had some large comforters that required commercial sized washer and dryers and while the initial review was not a good one, I decided to check it out myself. I am glad that I did because the establishment was very clean, attended, and consistently kept after by the attendant. The jumbo washer (advertises 7 loads or for me one king size comforter) was $8.50, $5.50 for giant loaders (advertised 4 loads worth ) and then using the jumbo dryer takes .25 per 4 minutes of drying. I was here on a Wednesday afternoon so your mileage may vary. Great place but I thought the prices were high.

Just moved and had multiple loads of laundry I wanted quickly done so I came here. The attendant working kept taking smoke breaks with the door open (back room or alley, I'm not sure), but the laundromat reeked of cigarette smoke. The last thing I want my clean laundry to smell like is smoke. I skipped folding my laundry but left smelling like smoke myself. This isn't a bar...it's a laundromat. Safe to say, I will never be back.

Had to start going to the laundromat on a weekly basis. Only in the past had to go when our washer and dryer broke down. We purchased a california king bed (always wanted one) and the comforter would not properly clean when I used my machines at home (Maytag Maxima Extra Large Capacity) so now it looked like I'm going to have to drag my comforter to the laundromat. I was not looking forward to that at all, but from day one of entering Sue's Laundromat I was greeted with helpful suggestions of which machines to use, how to properly/correct amount of detergents/softeners, gave me dollar coins instead of all those quarters ($9.50) and friendly conversations as she would pass to assist someone else when anyone entered the building regardless if they were first timers or already established customers as I am now. The attendant I've been speaking of is Lisa, if she isn't checking/cleaning the machines, she is washing/folding someone elses clothes (which one day I may take advantage of after seeing how well she treats other people belongs). She is now the main/only reason I choose Sue's as my laundromat, as well as some of my friends/family that I've suggested Sue's to and why I only try to wash on the days she is there. Been coming here since January 2019 and have never seen her have a bad day, always with a smile and a kind word to everyone that comes in those doors. Feels like family. Thank you Lisa for making my experience feel fun and safe.

I have never had to need to use a laundromat til I moved this past fall into an apt that didn't have a washer and dryer. I have used this place twice since moving in. First experience...not too bad. Wasn't too crowded and just used the single load washer and dryers. Washing experience was fine. The dryer, not so much. It took almost 2 CYCLES of 30 minutes each ON HIGH to dry my ONE LOAD of clothes....and my sweaters and jeans weren't dry all the way through. Second time around....EXTREMELY crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Nowhere to sit and barely anywhere to fold clothes at that time. Once again, didn't have that many clothes so I used the single load washer. I put in just a small extra amount of soap this time. When i took my clothes out, HALF OF THEM WERE STILL DIRTY!!! When I eventually got to dry my clothes after waiting several minutes, same problem. Almost had to use 2 cycles of 30 mins each again to dry my clothes. Sweaters and jeans were not dry...AGAIN. Also, my clothes just didn't look great. They look ratted, wrinkled, and stretched out. Not sure if it was the washers fault or the dryers...but wasn't too pleased. On top of that, when I was folding clothes...which, the only spot I was able to grab was one of the smaller tables in between the two walls of dryers....one of the attendants decided to clean out the lint catcher of the dryer right next to where I was folding....THANKS FOR ALL THE LINT ON MY FRESHLY WASHED CLOTHES... I think I will invest in another laundromat from now on.

Would have been nice to be greated or asked if it the first time here. I picked I washer that was honestly meant for a bigger load, costed more. Clean place though.

I was a complete newbie. I had only gone to a Laundromat once before in my life, and I recently moved to a place without laundry. I walked in, found Lisa, and asked her how it was done. She was very helpful, took a look at the amount of clothes I had, suggested a washer which was just right for my clothes (she thought there would be more room left over after my clothes got in there, but nope! I filled it up!), gave me an estimate on how much I'd need for drying, and helped me get the change needed for the load. She showed me how to add the detergent and how much with the larger washer, and suggested separating my clothes into 2 dryers in order to have them dry quicker. I am very satisfied with the service and will be going back there to do my laundry. I might even use their drop off service if I'm feeling super lazy! Thank you, Lisa, for a wonderful experience. I feel like I am a pro now with your help!

A very clean laundromat very friendly employees highly recommend taking your laundry there

Be aware...they close their doors at 8:00, not 10:00 as advertised.

The laundromat was clean and everybody in there was kind and the employees were helpful. The washing machines and dryers are huge and work really well. The only thing I would say is that it was a little expensive, it is $9.50 for a 8 load washing machine but maybe that is to be expected? Just make sure that you bring at least $40 worth of quarters with you but they also have change machines. I would definitely recommend going there especially if you have comforters to wash like I did.

I am a full time business woman and single mother of two living in the town of Warrenton. I've lived here for about 3 years now. I've never had any issues. I have to lug all my kids and my dirty laundry here every two weeks to clean our clothes (linens plus two weeks of clothes for three people made this chore even that much more time consuming). I didn't mind coming to this laundromat when I had moved here though. It was very clean and reasonable priced. There was however one issue that I began to notice. Lisa. The manager here was on some sort of power trip. She was mean and nasty to all the African American customers that entered this facility. I had my first run in with her in the winter of 2018 (January or February). I came in about 730 pm. I liked to come later in the day so I could avoid a rush with all the laundry I had. This facility locks its doors at 8 so it's rather peaceful after that time. Sue's actually closes at 10 so there was ample time for me to do my laundry. After I brought in my baskets I started loading my clothing into the washers. Lisa approached me and said nastily that if I didn't get my clothes started by 8 I just couldn't wash. I had never been approached by any of the other staff like this. I quickly got my clothes started well before 8 and sat to read a book while my laundry spun. Lisa approached me again and apologized that she came at me that way she had just heard some many stories from her staff of other people coming in late and holding them there until 11 or later. After this I was still heavily guarded with Lisa because I watched her cheerfully kick many African Americans out of the laundromat. It seemed to be a game to her. I hated coming here when she was working. All the other staff other than her daughter was very nice. Her daughter would always be in the back room smoking something with a very strong odor. None of my business but very Unprofessional. One evening last summer I came in about 730 pm and unfortunately had to bring my 12 year old and 7 year old. It's hard being a single mama at times!! They were a bit unruly this day. It was a Friday and they had a long week of school as did I at the office. I had to raise my voice at them to behave a couple times. I will not allow them to show off in public places and am not afraid to correct them. Unfortunately Lisa was also there. She was eyeballing me and my kids the whole evening. About 945 I was all finished and putting my clothing in my baskets to go home. Lisa approached me and my children and said " I think you're deliberately taking your time on your laundry to hold me up. You've been here 3 hours." I was shocked. How dare she? I responded, "Lisa I don't want to be here, this is a chore. I am about to leave though." She followed me out throwing remarks about my children as I walked out. She made it seem as though my kids were running around acting crazy. I surely do not play that and made sure they were involved in the laundry process and occupied. I asked for the owners information in which she refused. She said she would have him call me. Then she kept pushing my rolling basket aggressively. We were the only people there that evening and she knew she could get away with such abuse. I told her that if she continued (all this as we were heading out the door) I would call the police. I finally got out of there and was totally disgusted and appalled by how she behaved in front of my children. I wanted to make sure I spoke with the owner and made him aware of her behavior. I finally got ahold of him the next afternoon and asked him to please review his surveillance because I was harassed by Lisa last night. He apologized and seemed sincere about such behavior never happening again. The next weekend my mother was visiting from Culpeper to attend my son's football game. My mom also liked going to Sue's because it was so clean compared to Culpeper's laundromats. Lisa recognized my daughter and began harassing my mother. I left the football field and came to Sue's. I called the police. I wanted to press charges at this point.
