I'll give them this: the place is very clean and tidy, bathrooms clean, and the staff is nice. But the pricing is ridiculous. Two loads of laundry costs $20 and they use this card system that requires loading cash onto a card and swiping it in the machines. If you put the card next to a magnet it scrambles the card and your money is gone (what the attendant told me) and you arent getting it back. They need to lower their prices and go back to cash. Last thing I wanna do is carry around another card in my wallet only to have it be worthless if I accidentally brush up against a magnet or something.

As a first time visitor to Stowe, it was my good fortune to find this laundromat. Not only is it clean and well maintained thanks to Angie, the friendly person in charge of keeping it that way, Angie would also qualify as an off-site ambassador of the tourist bureau as she was so helpful with information. Thank you for making a drudgery chore into a pleasant experience. I will definitely use this service again during my future visits.

One of the most expensive laundrmats I have ever been to. (yes I had a few loads of laundry but still) The women working, I'm assuming the owner was a nagging b*tch. Constantly telling me to not over load the washer. I know how to do laundry and have been dong laundry at a public laundry mat for almost 10 years now. It felt like she was watching my every move and constantly looking over my shoulder. Half the dryers had out of order signs on them. Had to wait to get one. Yes it is clean. but the is about all it has going for it. Never going there again. Thanks, but no thanks.

How does this place have a 3.3 star rating? I have cleaned a laundromat for years. I hate them. This is one of the best I have been in. -There is an attendant. She is very helpful and nice. -They have Wi-Fi. -The bathroom is immaculate. -The whole place is clean. Magazines are laid out. No garbage laying around. No soap spills. Clean. -Prices? This is a laundromat. It is a business and needs to make money. The overhead on this place is not cheap. That being said, a couple of dollars to wash and dry my clothes is not an issue for me. I appreciate that the owner put in this business in a resort town.

I highly recommend Stowe Laundry for all your laundry and dry cleaning needs. Julie is excellent. She took the time to carefully go through my bag of laundry and sort out which needed to be dry cleaned or not. She then explained the best way to wash my delicate pieces. Thank so much Julie!

Pretty obscenely priced washes, although the they must have updated the dryers since other reviews because they are at .60c per 10 minutes. Would have pulled a couple more stars out of me if my first experience wasn't HORRIBLE... Whoever the woman was working in there made it very clear that she didn't want to deal with me coming in with less than an hour and a half from closing, whilst the hours are fairly tight anyway. I tried harder to work with her than she did me, and quite frankly was outright rude to me. No need for details.

$6 per wash... $6 to dry one load.. I don't know who can afford to spend $28 for two loads of laundry... I have never heard of such a thing, and I have traveled around the world and back... never had to pay this much. It is clean, if that helps anyone.

Very clean facility. New washers and dryers. The lady that mans the desk is really sweet, and always helpful. The two things I don't like about this laundromat are the cost, and the electronic cards. Call me old fashioned, but I would rather use actual currency. I will be back though because of how clean it is here.

Distasteful customer service for my first visit there ,how would I be aware that the staff needs two hours to close ?They need to specify their hours better . I paid an uber to get there knowing that they said they close at 5:00 pm but the last wash was at 3:00 pm. Yet the hours state 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. I'm furious because I work really hard and I don't make that much to be paying for rides twice when it could have been only been once.

$4.00 to wash a single pair of jeans, $7.00 for a ragular load to wash and $13.00 for a double load. clean facility new appliances. they dont accept American currency in the machines this laundromat uses the scam system of having you estimate your laundry buy a card that is by the eay non refundable so better figure your sums correctly. all in all given they are charging literally 3 times the average cost of laundry. This business owner is obviously one of them predators cashing in on the captive audience that the Stowe tourist presents forgetting that the working people that man most of the service businesses in Stowe could never afford such obscenely priced laundry. Businesses like this are what is wrong with our capitalist market place, they gouge that price to make obscene mark ups just because they can. greedy businesses like this should be avoided at all cost, go to Waterbury or Morrisville.

Just tried to drop off some laundry and no one was there. Then went to Maplefiels and saw your employee there, purchasing alcohol. Went back after she finally went back to work and she claimed she went out to buy lunch. Unfortunately, my coworker and I were standing there, watching her buy nothing but alcohol. She gave us lame excuses when confronted and said she was buying a beer for her "drive home". This is not the first time we have had a problem with Crystal. She is irresponsible beyond comprehension, and we aren't able to get our cleaning jobs done on time AGAIN because of her.

I always thought that laundromats were supposed to offer those of us who don't have access to washers and dryers at home, a CONVENIENT place to wash our clothes. Not this place. They say they close at 8pm, but the last load for wash needs to be in by 6??? I have one load of uniforms which I have to wear to work daily. By the time I'm out of work, get home, get the laundry, and get to the laundromat... It's 6:15. But apparently even though they are open until 8, I can't start one, single, small load of laundry. So when am I supposed to wash them?? Unfortunately this is the only laundromat in town and I can only hope that someone sees how inconvenient this is, and opens a place that has extended hours and decent prices. This place is clean but that is the ONLY positive comment I have about it. Clearly they only worry about keeping the place clean and not actually helping people to wash their clothes even though they are open for another hour and 45min.. Awful.

The first time I went here, I was washing brand new sheets. During the dry cycle, the inside of the dryer busted open and spilled insulation all over my new sheets. Thankfully the gal working there rewashed my sheets for free, but it still didn't get all the insulation out of the sheets. I have been back over the course of several weeks and every time I am there it seems fewer and fewer dryers are even functioning. Today I was told only 4 dryers were working and I would have to wait. You would think with the high prices of this place the owner would be able to fix the dryers. I am taking my business to Waterbury.
