Came around 6:30pm for a bite to eat. In total it was 9 of us and we were quickly greeted by a member of the staff. After placing our name with the gentleman and being told it would be about 30 minutes, we played a couple of the games in the back. Everything there was well maintained especially the pool table. Around this time however the customer service started to fail us. We noticed the seating area was completely empty and clean. The gentleman from earlier failed to communicate with us that a table was ready and we ended up being the ones to push the tables together. The dining experience wasn't much better. Being the only ones there, it really did seem understaffed. Our waitress was nice and kind and took the time to answer our questions about activities in the area. We did feel kind rushed but toward the end of our experience the flood started to get busy. Food was alright, I ended up getting the philly cheese steak and it was worth it. Others in the party got the chicken and waffle sandwich only to find out the waffles were just frozen store bought waffles. Overall a decent experience it could've been better though. -pros Great game area Waitress was kind -cons All other wait staff Food was just ok.

Terrible experience. Just walked out after waiting an hour to get one appetizer and watching all the tables around us get served. Wait staff just kept telling us the kitchen was busy, offered us nothing for our wait and spent most of the time ignoring us. This is the second restaurant I have EVER walked out of because the service was SO bad. One positive, the drinks are pretty good.

Stopped by this place for a budger to go at 9pm. i was hungry but too dirty to enjoy a meal there. Great bartender (knew her stuff) and delicious burger. seemed well run from what I saw while I waited. Not gourmet, but a nice place to get pub fare and a fun atmosphere

Unfriendly atmosphere created by the locals. They kicked my friends out because they were inspected of drinking too much. They are just laughable and fun people! The drinks are okay, the location isn't ideal. The three stars is given because they offer rides and the staff was friendly.

After an hour of waiting for our food, we finally got it and it was so covered in oil America tried invading it. The drinks were expensive, the live entertainment was WAY too loud for the 5 people that were in there, and on top of that, the bill came to $110 for two drinks and two meals. If you like expensive, overly greasy food and overpriced booze, this is the place to be.

Restaurant / food - nachos are solid - burgers great - chicken tenders old bay (check them out) - the grilled cheese isn’t bad either Entertainment - decent sound system and a live band on weekends - video games - pool tables Bartending - fast pace great pours and nice people - same with the staff The parking is ample too! Pro tip there’s a laundryMat under it with an additional pool table if the wait is long. PS: ask them about the bob sinclar

Extreme Food Reviews

Hands down the best local bar. We're not from the area and were up here on a snowboarding vacation. We read all the local reviews and tried the Foundry, Sushi Yoshi and a few others. This is so much better. Great food, great bartenders ("Bud" was ours, great guy. Give that man a raise) and the bar itself is just my type of place. Felt like I was at my local spot back home. Very inviting and warm. Plenty of screens to watch sports, good music and tasteful build-out with good seating including a gas fireplace with couches. We had the Old Bay Wings and the Beef Gyro... Both excellent but I can't say enough about the wings. Old bay spice on a well-cooked wing, who'da thunk it? Apparently these guys. Delicious. Go here. Trust me. Not a huge place but just right in all the right ways.

The burgers here are immense!! Huge, messy, hot and spicy and so GOOD!!! The waitress was really friendly. Although we were only there during the day, there was a nice vibe about the place where customers were welcomed and locals chatted with the staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Great food and not a bad selction of (hard) ciders either.

Ate here the last time we came to Killington also. Kids love the pool table. Standard bar food, and lots of TVs with sports playing. Cajun tater tots appetizer was awesome. Asked to have the sauce on the side and the waitress encouraged us to leave it on. Took her advice and she was absolutely right. Way better as is.

Coolest or most unique bar I've ever been to probably. Only place open when we went to snowboard up in New England. Live music with a mini stage and seats around it....arcade games and a fire pit. Awesome vibe

The staff go beyond the call of duty, and are very nice. It’s the people who go there: that’s the problem. It’s al local bar, and the regulars don’t take kindly to new comers. I was there with a few friends minding my own business and got a few bad looks in addition to a man pushing me to the side. It’s an incredibly Informal place and I personally think it’s a little trashy. The staff are very nice, and offer rides. Sadly, the gripe of this review is mainly the fan fair.

Jax is a favorite for happy hour off the mountain: usually have a wing deal going on. Great sports bar, big screen, love music and great food. Nachos were some of the best I've ever had

The patrons at the bar were very friendly but the staff must have all been having a terrible day: Rude and uninterested from top to bottom. Drinks were ok but watery. Ended up moving down the road to greener pastures.

I have never met so many rude people and such a small place. The manager and staff on site are very unprofessional and disrespectful. They claim this is a bar and pub with signs all over the place that you walk in and there's little kids sitting at the bar and around the bar. Save your time and your money don't bother going to this establishment. The only way that this establishment will improve is by closing. To upper management at Jax's I plan on telling all friends that ski Killington not to step foot into your establishment due to your staff.

Went with 2 others. Very nice, enjoyable dinner. We had the spring rolls, both veggie and pork. Crispy on the outside, pork was a little dry, but dipping into the sweet chili sauce and a creamy sauce with jalapeno made it good. The veggie ones were reported as okay. Nothing special. For our main meal, 2 of us had the cheese steak sandwich. They were big, served on a soft hoagie roll. We both felt that the filling was overcooked and dry. Again, saved by dipping into bleu cheese dressing that I had for my perfect side salad. The salad was fresh and appetizing. Onion petals were served with the other sandwich and were tasty. The 3rd sandwich was a grilled chicken breastbreast with guacamole, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and cheddar cheese on a grilled roll. The sandwich was wonderful. We all took half of our dinners home. They were quite large. Our waitress was cheerful and helpful. She recently started working at Jax' and still is getting used to everything, but she is energetic and enthusiast and is doing a great job. We will be back to try more of the menu, and watch tv on the big screen.

Awful business. Asked my hotel where to get food one night and drove a few miles to jax because it was the only place open and we were told we had to be at least 21 to get food. (Which we are but neither of us had our IDs with us...... Planning on going to get FOOD) and it ended with the door man trying to put his hands on my boyfriend & didn't end well for the door man. Just ridiculous we would have to deal with this. I do not recommend this bar/restaurant to ANYONE.

Awesome place. My friend and I got to town a lot later than planned and this was the only place open. To our surprise it was packed, live band, video games, and the kitchen is open late. If you want an excessive amount of fries, wings, and cheap pounders this is the spot

Wow. Barback terribly overbearing and just a real pompous attitude. I've never left a 1 star review. The guy bent my ID when he checked it. We ordered shots and he stood there and stared at us until we decided to take the shots. Will never come back. Ever.

This is a nice ski town bar with a great deck, much better than average bar food, and games for the kids. They can get busy and service can be slow when this happens, but it's completely understandable. I love to come here on a warm evening after skiing or hiking and sit on the deck with my friends and a beer/appetizer. Could use at least one more vegetarian option on the menu.

The food was good, but a gentleman that’s affiliated with the restaurant completely bad mouthed spartan racers and what it stands for. The Spartan racers are coming to the mountain this weekend and they were going to help support this place. Everybody’s entitled to their opinion, but as I was sitting there it was hard to swallow. Spartan through and through! AROO!!

Jax doesn’t pretend to be anything it isn’t, which is a bit refreshing in Killington. It’s a bar and arcade above a laundromat. The beer selection is pretty good with several craft beers and local beer on tap. Beside the long bar, there isn’t a ton of space to sit. The arcade games are a nice touch though and a bit fun while enjoying a drink. The food is actually not bad as well, particularly the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which you get for free during happy hour if you order other food. We got this without realizing with our buffalo chicken nachos which were also good, though I preferred the quesadilla. The nachos had a little bit of a vinegar taste from the buffalo sauce. Service was friendly though not overly warm. Definitely a more relaxed vibe than many of the other bars around the area though
