I never thought I'd be reviewing a laundromat but here we are. In my opinion Desabrais is the best laundromat in Middlebury. Here's why. It's easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The facility is well maintained and spotless. They have many washers and dryers so their is no waiting for a machine to become available. Murals painted by a local artist give it a touch of color. There's even a shower available for your convenience, if needed. The best thing of all though, and this is my favorite part, is that it is located within a stone's throw from a distillery, a cidery and a brewery. This makes waiting for your stuff so much more tolerable.

This place has steadily declined during the past five years. The staff is generally rude. There are frequently washing machines that flood out- pouring water everywhere on the floor. They have a few gas fired dryers that will burn your clothes, crisp up any delicate items or fleece.. You can watch the flames if you stand there while your clothes dry and I'm not kidding. If you have to come here, use the dryers toward the right side of the wall they are newer electric models. It took them over two years to patch a big hazardous jagged pipe that was in their parking area, I saw multiple times where someone cringed as they boomed over it. They have an area for folks to relax, watch tv etc but the couches have been there for over five years and they smell awful. They used tor put effort into keeping this place up but the past few years it has been nothing but decline. Decline in service and decline in facilities..

Desabrais Laundry & Dry Cleaning is hands down the best laundromat and dry cleaner in Addison County. They are located on Exchange Street in Middlebury, Vermont and are the only laundromat left in town. The laundromat is always open daily from 7 AM to 11 PM year round. Dry Cleaning may have separate hours. They also offer the wash, dry and fold service when you are on the go. Their super friendly staff are very helpful and will meet your needs.
