Laundramats are not my favorite places, but it is nice to find a clean well maintained one when in need. This laundramat has washing machines of different sizes which was great because I had some bedspreads to wash! You could pay with coins or credit card. It was expensive but probably in line with other laundramats. One nice thing is that there was an attendant. They also provide a wash, dry, fold service that enables you to drop your laundry off and have them do the work.

I think Heidi was thinking of the other Newport laundromat. This one is all coin operated.

This is the only laundromat I have ever been to and not been able to get change for a $20 bill to put in the coin machine. The couple of times I've asked I've gotten a very short, cold response. You have a quarter machine that people are putting 10's, 5's and 1's into for quarters all day every day and you're telling me you can't break a $20 bill?? Also, the attendant, excuse me - MANAGER (the only employee I've ever seen in the many times I've been there, is the most unfriendly person. Heaven forbid you need help with something and have to take her away from her laptop computer. There's no attendant there in the evening so make sure you use the restroom before you go because it's always locked. Even when the manager is there she has to let you in. It's always cold in the winter and suffocatingly hot in the summer. The only thing that keeps me going back is that it IS a clean laundromat and it's nice that they have wi-fi for the customers to use. Other than that, the customer service in this place is sorely lacking.

Its a laundry mat. 1 bathroom, which was locked Saturday afternoon and no office personnel after 1pm. Had to go to McDonald's to use a bathroom.

Not the worst laundromat I’ve been in, but certainly one of the more expensive ones. You get the feeling that the machines here are not well maintained. There was no one on duty during our entire time here, and several of the machines had water left in them. One washer was full of water when we tried to put our load in. Which brings up another point. The washers were small, but still $3.25 for a load.

This laundry mat is always cleaned and we'll maintained. HERE IS THE PROBLEM. they have installed machines to pay using your credit card. ALL THE MACHINES AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE 10.00 to your card. I called over a month go and was refused to be given the owners number directly. He did call me back 5 hours later from a restricted line. When I told him about this he said the bank would refund the difference. Example machine post it costs 5.50 but you are getting charged 10. And then I said why is this not posted on signage so the customers are notified. He said the signs were being made up. OVER A MONTH AGO. no refunds of money back on my card. Traced my tranSaxton for over 4 months of this happening. Also he said he would call me back after he spoke to his bank. Never did. I have called aince, no return call. No signs in building and no refund. My next step is reporting it to the police departmwnt.All those people who don't even realize they are getting charged 10. A time. Shame on him for not managing this concern. It is not about money for me. It is about all those people working super hard to get buy and there money is being taken from them without knowledge or information.
