Took in two carpets. 8 x 10 both had been peed on by my puppy. First rug came back stained but at least the smell was out, second rug had no stains but smells just like dog urine. We paid $310. For both rugs to be cleaned. I get the rug that still had stains. The fabric wouldn't allow the stains to come out, but the other rug still smelling like urine? Won't be using this place again.

On a snowy, cold day like today It makes me want to wear my warm, tan cardigan from Macy’s. Unfortunate, I can’t because this Red Hanger either gave it away, lost it, or stole it. We’ve gone to this Red hanger for years with generic white shirts and the occasional nice unique clothing item and have never had a problem. Recently, however, I brought in a tan/blue cardigan sweater that I wore for my engagements (I’m married now) and they seem to have lost it. The cardigan was brought in with other sweaters and shirts to be dry cleaned, and we received all but my favorite cardigan. The problem lies more in their system they use. When you drop off your items, they give you a little ticket in return that has in writing what you gave them to dry clean. This is the problem. I should have looked more carefully at the ticket to see that they didn’t write down my cardigan. When I returned to pick up my items, they didn’t give my cardigan, nor did they have it in their store anymore. No one else’s ticket would likely have mentioned a tan/blue cardigan, so how could they have given it away? The manager said that at the beginning of the month, she would check the security cameras and run an inventory of all of their items in store. That was two months ago, and they still haven’t found it. I’m pretty upset, because that was my favorite cardigan (one I would frequently get compliments on) and was also quite expensive. TLDR; this Red Hanger lost my favorite cardigan and rely too much on a very fallible system to keep track of what you gave them, leave lots of room for human error.

Cleaning clothes is a no brainer since the second half of the twentieth century. Equipment is cheap and the profit margin huge. In fact, organized crime loves to use the cleaning clothes business as a facile way to "clean" "dirty" money. I know this for a fact, and I will not divulge why. The only detail that needs attention is to keep an account of the individual items the customers bring in and to fulfill the simple requests of your clientele. This particular Red Hanger not only screws up every order, but now I discovered they have a propensity to steal clothes. At least they have good taste. My haberdashery is European and very expensive. None of my clothes were purchased in a mall. I ask for a normal, urban pants press for my trousers, and every time they come back looking like I'm in the Navy wearing bell bottoms. In addition, Red Hanger claims "I must be mistaken," when I KNOW I am missing an item. The first time I choked it up to my age and possible dementia. (Not really, but I can make a mistake) This last time there is no mistaking their thievery. The police would just laugh at me. However, Red Hanger got away with about $500 worth of my clothes. The people working at this Red Hanger are either completely moronic or crafty with their subterfuge. There is no way of knowing. BUT BEWARE! DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES FOR CLEANING TO THIS RED HANGER. THEY ARE THIEVES HIDING BEHIND THAT DISGUSTING BLOND ALL AMERICAN LOOK. THAT CLEAN CUT APPEARANCE IS OFTEN A TROJAN HORSE. (Unless you are from Troy and "belong")

I was shocked at how expensive they were. It cost upwards of $30 (closer to $40) to dry clean two dresses and a skirt. I almost fell over. They said they were competitive with the SLC market. I just moved here recently but find that hard to believe. I'll have to check some other places to verify.

She stays on top of everything... if you have concerns about a special item being cleaned she will make sure it gets special attention!! THE WORST DRY CLEANING EXPERIENCE ! I came to pick up my clothes and it looked unpressed and one item specifically still had a scent of my old perfume as if it was never even treated. So, I left my unpressed (or poorly pressed) clothes for the second time for repressing but got exact the same result with the unpressed seams and even more wrinkles than the first time around. Moreover, a very ixpensive jacket was ruined by what I'm guessing an access heat of overpressing it at the collar and now has a bad permanent shine. Although, the rest of the jacket was still wrinkled when I picked it up again. Getting a hold of a manager was proved to be a waste of time as the manager is either never in or never returns left with an associate messages. Save yourself time, money and nerves by avoiding all the Red Hanger services and especially by staying away from this location: 3275 S 2300 E Salt Lake City, UT 84109

I’m really disappointed in my service recently. I’ve been taking my clothes here since I moved to Millcreek several years ago. I have never had any major issues, though it seemed difficult for them to always find my things (even with the tickets), but they ultimately did and I’m patient. I recently took a leather jacket in with several other clothes and was not told that it would take about a month to get the jacket back. I only learned this when I came to pick up the items. I totally understand that this could take longer, but was a little frustrated that I was not made aware of this initially. I came back a week past the time the gal up front told me to pick it up (over a month later) and was then told it would take another month (after she took some time finding me- again). She was annoyed while I explained to her why I was confused that it’s two months, instead of the time I was told at the last pick up, and furthermore, was a bit unprofessional about it. It’s a nice jacket and I’ve had other cleaners only took a couple weeks to dry clean, and they did manage my expectations. After I get the coat back, I will not be coming back here. Advise caution.

I’ve been putting off leaving this Red Hanger location a review... But since I got a random text today asking me to leave a review then why not. To start off, I used to WORK counter at this location about 2 years ago and had worked there for a couple of years. One day my aunt gave me a Guess Leather Letterman Jacket to have cleaned there since I worked there. The jacket was a gift from her deceased husband so it definitely had a lot of sentimental value and I promised her to get it back to her in a few days. I took it to work, had it cleaned, it went through the cleaning process, scanning, bagging and assembled on to a location on the rack. But when I went to find it to pay for it, it was NOT THERE. So I told Leslie (the manager) about it. We thought maybe one of the other girls that worked there stole it. I mean there was no explanation as to why it wasn’t on the rail because it had been scanned and put on a certain number on the rail. We checked everywhere. For a few days searching for it. Finally, Leslie decided to watch the camera recording in her office, BUT she only watched when the girl was closing up the store and leaving and “found nothing”. I had expressed how much that jacket meant to my aunt and she did nothing. She didn’t watch the videos of the entire time from when the jacket was placed on the rail (the system and ticket tells you the date and time it was assembled) to when we noticed it missing. Which was a day or two. I even told her I would come in on my time to watch all the recordings of those days but she didn’t let me. She never took it to corporate, they never replaced the jacket, never compensated my aunt. Nothing. Then I was fired not too long after that (a blessing in disguise) but hmmm.. sketchy. I wasted a lot of time working at this place and should have gone to corporate myself. This is how they treated their employee’s items, imagine how they treat their customers things....

The manager and staff at this location go out of their way to help you get exactly what you need. They are always friendly and they remember me. If something’s not right, they make it right. They’re also helpful in teaching about fabric, like telling me what sizing is and that water ruins velvet. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

I really like the people at Millcreek location. I'm a pretty regular customer but I notice that some of the new folks don't follow through about the status of a customer order. I know its easy to see some other staff members as not following through but they need to work as a team. Not being able to find clothing, or drop off bags, or finding my drop off in the morning never got opened, and having multiple accounts for the same person so that others employees have to search several account to find my items are things that need to be straightened out within the business. It feels like folks need a checkoff list to make things work more reliably. I'd recommend the new staff be trained to a list of expected duties and then audit each week for at least 4 weeks after starting. I feel that the business is not giving these new worker a chance to be successful by giving them direct responsibilities and direct feedback. If you do that I think you have great new workers and more satisfied customers.

I work at a shop and one of our shop guys spilled coffee all over about 30 work shirts. Leslie took them in no problem worked her magic and had them back to us (coffee free) in about three hours. Not to mention the logo print on the back of our work shirts was left intact.

They ruined my wedding dress less than a week before my wedding. We were told by the manager that it would be cleaned by hand and that obviously didn’t happen. Several of the beads on the embroidery are missing, or just falling off the multiple loose threads. The bustle was destroyed and is no where to be found. I’m getting married tomorrow and I’m having to pay someone to salvage it the best they can before I walk down the aisle in less than 24 hours. This is an $800 wedding dress that cannot be returned. To say I’m livid is a gross understatement. I will not be returning and I will be filing formal complaints. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

I'll never return. I picked up my dry cleaning and one of the articles (an expensive pair of tailored wool pants) as having a hole in them. I was surprised since I didn't recall any previous holes. Later at home I discovered ever article has small similar sized holes in them. Red hanger ruined every peice I brought to them and told me it was already that way. It wasn't. Customer lost for life.

I have been a customer with Red Hanger on 3300 S and 2300 E for over 20 years. I regret to say that I can NO LONGER be a patron due to POOR QUALITY over the past 6 months. On three different orders my request for simple shirt laundry Medium Starch and Creased Shirts have NOT been performed with wrinkles in them when delivered to me. On each occasion I spoke to the Manager with NO RESULTS. Items have been Loss and Not Ready for pick up at stated time. On July 3rd when speaking to an employee she stated she was directed NOT to spend 10 minutes on A 3 minute job because of discount provided by Red Hanger. Poor Quality of Services. If what you desire is a quality cleaners with great customer service, then don't go here. I travel to Salt Lake on business and I have used them three times and each time they have failed. Miserably. Fail one. They lost one of my items, a nice Nordstrom shirt that was not cheap. They eventually found it and I had to have somebody else pick it up for me and hold it until my next trip. Plus, I had to pay for the cleaning for the shirt they lost! They could not give me my other things unless I paid the full bill without the 'manager.' Fail two. They advertise same day service but when I came in to pick up my stuff it was not ready and I had a flight the next day. Well, it eventually arrived in the mail. Fail 3. Today I dropped off a pair of pants with a stain. They came back with the stain. Don't they check stuff when they press the items? I had to pay even though they didn't do their job as the manager must approve any refunds or reductions...no manager ever seems to be there. So, if you want to use the worst cleaner in the world, use Red Hanger.

I have taken laundry and dry cleaning to this location for over thirty-five years but no more. Sadly, the quality of service has declined even more rapidly than the prices have risen. Shirts unwearable. Dry cleaning poorly pressed. Redos while accepted, quality still not acceptable.
