When I purchased a Mattress here back in 2010, I would have rated it 5 stars that year and the next 2 years after. I loved our mattress. They had fantastic customer service from the guys in the store to help you figure out what you wanted, and after shopping at about 10 other mattress stores and mostly being ignored by the employees, this was a nice change. The reason I'm not still rating it 5 stars is because I've moved far enough away that I feel the need to buy a mattress for my child from somewhere closer... and my NEW research indicates I paid too much for my Duerden's Serta Mattress. I bought a queen size Serta that was close to or was the least expensive mattress they had in the store. It's a solid wire coil, rather than individual pockets. They sold me on the superiority of that type of mattress and how you can't feel the other person roll over. It seemed true when we first got the mattress, but I've come to find out that that's not the case after 5 years of use (it's suppose to last 10 years). This mattress had no extra pillowtop layer; just a basic mattress. On top of that, I need a softer mattress than I use to need. When purchased, I needed a firm mattress for lower back support, but now I have achey hips and shoulders in the morning and I need a softer bed. But for having paid $1000 (mattress, low profile box spring, & basic frame), I feel like I need to use this bed for the full 10 years, or even longer to get my moneys worth. Consumer reports say mattresses are marked up so high, you should only get them on good sales for about 50% off or more. With all my mattress shopping this year, I would compare my current mattress with the ones I'm finding in about the $350 range. I paid about $800 for the mattress. So, all in all, they're a good place, but definitely be ready to argue the price down.

Purchased an extensive appliance package for our new home of Wolf, Subzero, and other products. We have worked with other vendors in the past for these appliances in other homes and had a great experience. We relied on Todd for insight on hood and grill specs for our project and now have many errors. When asking Duerden's about correcting the items to our original request we have been ignored for weeks even after several follow up calls. We have been in our home for several weeks now and have several items that still need to be adjusted to work properly and waiting for two appliances that were paid for weeks ago. Unfortunately this has been a very disapointing customer service experience. We have now had to start contacting third part appliance technicians and paying for them to come and complete the proper installs for our property.

Such a great place to purchase kitchen appliances and mattresses. I have purchased several times here and they have great customer service and installation. I purchased a French door refrigerator about 9 months ago and this past weekend we moved. The movers we hired could not figure out how to get the doors off the fridge to move it. I called Durden's and they had 2 guys there within a hour of my call. They quickly took the door off and didn't even charge me for it! Now that's going the extra mile for customers.

Duerden's is fantastic! My wife and I needed everything for a new house. As we shopped around for a fridge, washer and dryer, mattress and later a dish washer we were sorely disappointed by other retailers. My old refrigerator went out suddenly, leaving me in quite a bind. I tried Home Depot but they said they were at least 8 days out on delivery. I was frustrated, but I'm sure glad because I decided to try Duerden's. The salesman, Travis, was awesome. He helped me find a better fridge than the one I had looked at over at Home Depot, and it cost less too! He had originally told me that delivery would be the next day, but in the end he hustled and managed to have my new fridge delivered just 30 minutes later!!! The delivery guys were super cool. They were very careful not to hurt anything and they cleaned up after themselves. They were fun to chat with too. I will never go anywhere else for my appliance needs. Save yourself the trouble and the dent in your pocketbook and skip Home Depot, Lowe's and RC Willey. These guys are better AND they're local!

I would give one star except that would not be fair due to the many great experiences I have had over the years. Recently buying a dishwasher and range was a big disappointment as the delivery ended up being almost one week later than what I was told. I was also told that the owner would call me to make things right, but that didn't happen. Honestly I wasn't looking for much (if anything) and the call would have gone a long way. The delivery crew was a bright spot. Very nice and professional. The install on the dishwasher was bad and we are paying a third party to do it correctly. Brent (as always) did a great job to respond to my concerns and he didn't even sell me the appliances. Even after sending a letter addressing my concerns, I never heard from ownership. I have purchased many products over the years and it was hard to believe this was the same Duerden's.

Duerden's is the best (and only) place to purchase appliances. I am a long time resident of Bountiful and have been buying our appliances from them for over 17 years. The reason I keep coming back is because of their excellent customer service and fair prices. Last year, they provided a whole home package for our remodel. Not only did we get great prices, but they worked with us to have the appliances delivered and installed on our crazy remodel schedule. Todd and his team are excellent, responsive, and very helpful with even the smallest request. I don't even wast time shopping elsewhere because I know I will get the best value and service for my money at Duerden's.

Brent helped us pick out the very best appliances, never pressured us or felt "salesy" and educated us on the different features of the appliances. He saved us when our builder dropped the ball and forgot to order our range hood which happens to be back ordered a whole month! I told Brent the situation and he saved the day by getting the exact range hood (for a better price) right away! His installation team came out to install appliances and found that our builder had not prepared the spaces correctly and without any complaints they came back out a second time (without charging us) to install the appliances again after the spaces were properly prepared! Brent helped us get a big rebate on our appliances, filled out all the paperwork and gave it to us to mail in. Throughout our stressful building experience, Duerden's was so wonderful to work with and made this part of the experience a breeze! We had a combination build-in. They came out and measured at no cost. Home Depot, Lowes charge, locking you in to buying from them to get charge applied.` Duerden's price checks, they match. They check all sales promotions that are going on by manufacturers. They install professionally and are very careful, was opposed to delivery who get paid on being fast (think R.C. Wiley ). Duerden's found a dent in a dishwasher, went and got another one. They did not try to hide the defect, which was slight. You will find them helpful, professional (extremely) and great installation.

We were promised a rebate and it never arrived. After a year of waiting for it, we finally gave up. The rebate company said they mailed it twice and yet we never received it. They refused to follow up and so we are out $1,000. Buyer Beware!!!! Of course Duerden's says its not their problem but they filled out the rebate forms for us so it was never in our control. Really poor follow through. Never believe anything a sales person tells you!

I went in today and they were incredibly busy due to the holiday. Despite that Brent made sure to acknowledge that I was there and they would be with me soon. He ended up being the one to help me and apologized for the wait saying that they never want to have anyone waiting (which was only 10 min - much better than it would have been anywhere else on an appliance buying holiday). He helped me purchase the appliance I needed and had it loaded in my truck about 5 min later (the whole trip was less than 20 min). They are friendly and have great pricing. I have a family member who worked here a few years back and they really took care of him. That translates into how their employees treat customers so well. WOW! I’ve driven by this place for years, but have never stopped in until today. I regret waiting so long to visit this store. These guys have an excellent selection. A wide range of appliances, including high end SubZero and Wolf. My wife and I walked out amazed by the service, knowledge, speed and friendliness of the staff. While I’d expect and be willing to pay a premium for this kind of service and speed, their prices were very competitive and they had the hard-to-find appliance we were looking for IN STOCK! We were in and out of the store with everything we needed in 10 minutes. After recently making a few purchases at big box stores who messed up our order, drug the purchase process out for hours (if youre lucky enough to find someone to help you) had it delivered weeks later in multiple deliveries by installers who didnt know or care and no one to call without waiting 30 minutes on hold, we just assumed that was the way appliance shopping was supposed to be. We were wrong. Duerden’s will be our first stop for appliance shopping from now on.
