If you didn't pack enough or don't want to buy $5.99 Hoodies from Bargain Beachwear...then go here and bring your own supplies of detergent and fabric softener to save a little. Cold water 24 min wash is $4.50 for the large load and $3.25 24 min cold small washer...45lb Large dryers are $0.50 for 10 minutes...the smaller ones were not in service @ $0.25 for 5 min....you do the math...very clean....Britain owners....very nice, but touchy if you bang on the coin insert due to dust accumulation....so be warned...overall very clean place...and come to think of it...who actually comes to the beach to save money?... oh - dont worry about security...there are cameras everywhere...us the customers inside were all polite....ENJOY

It is a very clean and well run coin laundry. They have workers on duty all the time and they are very helpful. If not sure about the size machine for your laundry, they will help. The workers are very nice and answers all your questions. The service is exceptional. I highly recommend this laundry.

Please ignore the bad ratings other students have posted and read this review. This is the best laundromat I’ve ever visited. I came on a Saturday morning and it was a little crowded but the attendant, Tonya, was wonderful. She was helping everyone including two limited English speakers which was difficult to get them to understand how to use machines and the cost. A few younger ladies came in with several bags of laundry and she helped them select the best machine for the lowest over all price. This place is very clean. There are signs that say change machine is for customers only (there are video games but even I couldn’t spend $20 on selected video games here) there are two computers and free WiFi. I can’t express how clean this place is!! There was a laundromat 4 miles from my hotel and this one was 10 but it was worth the drive. I’ve had a bad experience before at a laundromat and this is very clean and safe and the Tonya was wonderful and very helpful. Will come back here again when in this area.

They take care of their customers and that's what is so rare these days!! We were very pleased with the efficiency of both the washers and dryers. So I have been doing laundry here for about 2 years. This place has new owners now and I went in to do my laundry today. I had a small load of socks, 3-4 small towels, and a couple shirts. As I'm putting it in the washer, the owner approached me saying that I was going to over load the washer. I told him I wasn't and that my washer wasn't even half full. He insisted I was and preceded to belittle me in front of his other customers. I asked him how much weight this washer held. He said 8 lbs. I told him hey lets go weigh it. Then he changed his tune. Said he really hoped I'd use one of his bigger washers. I told him too late don't worry about it. I'm going somewhere else and that he just lost a loyal customer. I told him no wonder he's losing customers and can't keep employees. Don't go here the owner is rude!

Clean laundromat with outdoor smoking area with a pool table. They also have computers for customers to use. The washers are on the small side and the area is a little crampt to get past other people doing laundry. Overall it's not bad. I spent $32 On 6 loads of laundry which was high.

I have came here for years. Since it's just myself, I have small loads, so I use their full service wash, dry, fluff &fold they charge for by weight. You don't have to but I like bringing them my detergent to use. They're always so fast but thorough!

I been coming to this laundry mat for the past three years when need be and today was the WORST experience I had. How do you hire someone that's not skilled/trained on the machines...How do you hire someone that doesn't no how to deal with all kinds of customers... If me as a customer and your employee smells my clothes after her suggesting to take them out and use another machine how do you ask me as a manager "If your not happy with the machines why do you use them" because of a problem with one washing machine twice in the less then a year of ownership??

One of the best laundromats I have ever been to! The owners are extremely helpful. They helped guide me to exactly which machine to use for what I had and helped me save $ in the process. The store is clean, bright, and easy to navigate inside. The machines were very efficient and I didn't spend more than an hour and ten minutes there with 4 loads of laundry. They also offer computers, wifi, a waiting area with vending machines, arcade games, and a tv. Top notch!!! I will be back.

Unfortunately for Mike Sims, who recently left a one-star review and a lengthy diatribe against the owner - I was there on that day, waiting to get some quarters from the machine. I saw and heard everything. The accusations against the man who intervened (I assume he was the owner) are completely false. The one who became hysterical and almost violent was Sims, who was unbelievably rude to the owner, who simply pointed out that the facilities are for customers only. Mike Sims should be ashamed of himself, firstly for trying to steal someones livelihood and secondly for lying. What a vile human being. Incidentally, it is a really great lanudromat.

I'm semi retired in my fifties and I own a condo on the oceanfront where I live year round and I have used this facility a few times in the past. The facility is great and I have never had a bad experience there until today. I was out and about and knowing I will be doing laundry this weekend, I stopped in to get my quarters ahead of time because that's just how I like to do things. I also planned to play video games for about an hour or so as I am quite a fan of them being a teenager of the eighties. I walked through like I usually do admiring the place and thinking to myself what a nice place it is. I went to the change machine and put a twenty dollar bill in it and the quarters dropped. I began to remove them and place them into my zip lock bag when a man came around the corner and asked me if I was doing laundry there today. I said I was playing video games. He said oh, ok. Then when he saw the amount of quarters I was getting he accused me of NOT really planning to play video games while he began to grab my bag of quarters out of my hand telling me "that is my money!". I responded, "No, this is my money! (while retrieving my quarters from him). I said " And how would you know I don't plan to play video games when you haven't even given me time to play them yet." He was very nasty and calling me a liar. He said he is the owner and that is his money as he was backing off from me. I then said, "I'm certainly not going to play them now! And I will never step foot in here again!" While I was exiting, A lady was coming in and hearing me speaking, I said to her, "That is a nasty man right there!" She said, "Oh, yes! He sure can be". I was a business man for many years and I know dealing with the public can become frustrating but we have got to at least be fair. I would never ever accuse someone of doing something before they do it. You have got to wait and see because you really can be wrong as he was in this case. I usually spend about thirty dollars a month on laundry and that is thirty dollars he will never get again. As long as he continues to treat his patrons in any way other than with the upmost amount of dignity and respect, his business will suffer. He benefits by being located right next to a KOA campgrounds but thankfully we have this forum to share our experiences. There is a wonderful laundromat at 1109 3rd. ave. s. and you will be treated respectfully. Lane Mega Laundry. I am a good decent man and did not deserve what happened to me today. I wish I never went in there today. -- Above what I am writing now is my original review. It is untouched and now I am responding to the owner's response to my review. -- First of all, I have got to say this. When a person comes in and wants to use your change machine, good grief, just let them! They are a potential future customer plus, why must you get so angry over simply being kind and giving a person change for a twenty in quarters? Do you really have that much hate in your heart, really? By the way, twenty dollars is 80 quarters, not 120. -- The next issue I have is this. Never, ever under any circumstance do you actually touch someone the way you did me when I was in there that day. I want to warn everybody right now that this man has a serious issue with anger and he acts like he's a "ticking time bomb". Be careful around him, especially you ladies. -- You said there was no woman entering the door while I was exiting to have said what I said to her. That is wrong. Oh, you lie. You need to take a good look in the mirror. You are not the perfect individual I truly do believe you believe yourself to be. -- Lastly I challenge you to post the entire video of our encounter from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out the door greeting that nice lady. Post it right here in the comments. You can do it, you know how. I was there between 10:30am and 11:30am on Thursday, May 31st. I bet you won't...…. 8/31/18. Someone named Piotr Gesolovi lied about me. I still believe the owner is potentially dangerous. No one was waiting to get change. Post the video!

We are in town for our sons' basketball tournament and needed to wash his uniform and a few other things. Did NOT trust our resort laundry room and couldn't take a chance on damaging the uniform so my husband "googled" and found this place. AWESOME!! Clean and cool inside, machines in excellent working order, VERY nice atmosphere, and well-maintained. While I didn't need the attendant's help, I observed her instruct and assist a grandfather/grandson duo with spot cleaning and machine usage. Very nicely done. Also, a gentleman (owner possibly?) Offered to carry my basket to my van -no need as that's what hubby's for right...but very nice of him to offer ! Yet another reason to loovvvee Myrtle Beach!!

Don’t be fooled by the area, or the negative reviews. To be frank, the reason that I came here were the owner responses to the negative comments. What one person sees as a knee-jerk reaction to a complaint, I see as an involved staff. Let’s not fool one another about the typical safety of laundromats. Usually they are surrounded by drug addicts and frequented by less than ideal people. The level of involvement that the (very nice, helpful and professional) staff member on premises displays should tell you that this is a safe place to do your laundry. You won’t be harassed here. I haven’t used a laundromat in over ten years and felt completely safe and not even remotely grossed out here, as I have been with every other laundromat I’ve pulled into. TL;DR: Clean place, friendly staff, standard prices. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Find out for yourself.

Place was very clean and considering there were quite a few dryers going the place was nice and cool. Computers in the front to catch up on homework, email, and what ever. If there were 6 stars this laundromat would certainly get it. I was here on vacation and like to do my laundry at laundromats not at the hotels I stay. Did I pick a winner. The owner was there and quite helpful and engaging. Prices were comparable to other laundromats I use normally. They have a patio with a pool table that doubles as a smoking area. The front of the stairs has games for kids of all ages and a couple of Computer stations. They not only offer do it yourself laundry but they can also do it for you at just $1.00 a pound, score! If you are in the Myrtle Beach area and find yourself needing a laundromat be sure to check this one out!
