As far as laundromats go, this one is good. I always hated gathering quarters for the change laundromats. The money card was a welcoming process. Granted, I won't be in the area forever, so I have to watch how much I load on it or it'll just ((POOF)) be gone. The washer I used washed my clothes in the standard 30 minutes (and the washers DO have a spin cycle), and the dryer took an equal amount of time. I gave this laundromat a four star rating because no one really helped me set up the laundry card, even though it wasn't rocket science, and the facility could stand to be a little cleaner. It was still usable and I didn't feel like I was going to contract any diseases after being there for an hour. All in all, a good experience that was above average for a local laundromat.

Well I’ll say. I can’t speak for anyone else experiences. My early morning laundry day was a rollercoaster. It’s hard to find clean good laundromats. Spintastic is that. Clean. Quite. Antonio! Who was probably over this “common sense” question. “How do you load money to a machine”? Or where is the system to get a laundry card”? Tonio showed willingness and was knowledgeable about the card system. I will return and I recommend as a customer to consider this laundromat for your choice of wash.

What can I say about this place? Its the Best laundromat in Charlotte! I went this past Saturday 2/3/18 around 11am , In my head I was imagining a tiny place with hobos in the back, and trash/water all over the place. To my surprise, this place was the opposite. I was greeted the minute I walked in and I was walked throughout the whole process of getting a laundry card and starting the washers/dryers. They use a card system, which in my opinion is better than quarters. The place was super clean and not a single piece of trash on the floor! The couches makes it very cozy and makes you feel like home. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and answered all my questions, I forgot his name ( I think Serg) He was the nicest person I have ever met, thanks for all your help! Ill be coming more frequently :)

My dryer didn't work properly. .the attendant kindly added funds too my card and assist me with a new dryer. ..and put monies on my second dryer. ..I enjoy the environment. ..it's a place anyone can come and relax, student, play a little video games....oh yea if you have little ones they have a clean educational area. ..just for your precious gem. ..DON'T TAKE MY WORD COME AND ENJOY. ...WASHING YOUR LAUNDRY. .

I live on the opposite side of town and use the bus for transportation. Spintastic was on my way to school and I needed to wash my school uniform before class. When I walked in, an employee (possibly the manager/owner) approached me and inquired if it was my first visit to their establishment. When I told her it was she actually took the time to explain the money cards they use, the washer to dryer color coded sticker system for the customers benefit, and where everything was located. I work in the fine dining service industry, and I have to say that some restaurants would find themselves lacking if their customer service and hospitality were to be compared to Spintastic Self-Service Laundry. I will make the extra 30 min trip to do my laundry from now on.

I love this place, staff is super friendly, machines work really efficiently. They even have a credit card reader for payment; which is super convenient. They have cheap games there and great seating that's super comfortable and pass time with ease (good and bad, because you might forget you have other things to do). Truly a relaxing environment.

This is hands down one of the best laundry cleaning services that I have patronized thus far. This is a very clean laundromat and the staff is so very nice. My first visit the receptionist gave me a tour and helped me sign up for a laundry card that I can use instead of having to carry a pocketful of change around!! Awesome!! The washing machines and dryers are HUGE and not to mention easy on your pocket too!! I will definitely come here again and recommend this place to everyone!!

Had a good experience at spintastic today. Not very busy on a Monday midday. Plenty of washer/dryer choices. Don't be afraid to over load the wash card as the employee will refund the remaining amount plus the card deposit when you are finished. I liked that she asked why I wanted to return the card. Living out of state but will be back to do my laundry when I am in town. They offer free wifi but I didn't see the password anywhere. Didn't ask the employee but maybe it could be posted.

This place is pretty ghetto. I came in after a rain storm, and the roof was leaking badly in several spots. The machines take a card, that you have to purchase for a dollar before you can load it with any funds. About 25% of the machines are out of order. Trash cans were overflowing. They have wi-fi, but it's not free. Toilets were covered in piss.

I drive across town 20 minutes to go to this laundromat because it's clean, staff is friendly, and it's easy to use. I love the kids area and Wi-Fi and microwave. Plus the kids like the ice cream for sale. Furthermore you get bonus money each time you keep using your laundry card. It's a second home.

I have read some of the negative comments here....They are specious..heh..love that word. Machines break, thus far in the history of laundrydom I don't think a perfect machine has ever been manufactured. Personally I would not arrive at 10:30 pm to a laundromat that closes at 11pm..but that's just one man's opinion. OK..heckling of other posts aside. Staff is professional and completely bilingual. The facility is very clean. It is, by far, the largest laundromat I have ever seen. It is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The machines are kept clean. I had one break on me mid-cycle once..I was given an apology and a free wash. I am not sure what else I could have asked for. The prices seem consistent with other area facilities. Some might feel they are a bit higher..If so, I would say.."pay the difference," The cleanliness of the facility and the staff's professional demeanor would warrant the extra buck or two. Try Spintastic. It's Fantastic....wow..that was corny wasn't it? :)

Normally very clean and functional - all small washers are out of service (a couple have been for few weeks now). 11 washers and 5 dryers out of service today 7/23 - which is unfortunate on a weekend. Hope management resolves quickly.

The laundry facilities at my apartment complex nearby are terrible. I have to pay cash and can only reload my laundry card during business hours. Decided to give this place a try and am pleasantly surprised! Love being able to pay by card and also love that they are open everyday of the week! Seems busy which is a good sign, and like that there are tv's, snack machines, and different games for entertainment. Cleanliness could use some work. There does seem to be a bunch of machines "temporarily out of service" but I'll wait and see if this is addressed before changing my rating. *UPDATE 8/6/17* It seems Spintastic has taken my comments and instituted changes to address them! Today I arrived to do some laundry and see that most if not all machines are now working, and the facilities are much cleaner! Very happy with the changes and concern for customer satisfaction! Will definitely continue doing laundry here!

I was visiting Charlotte for about a week and after the 3rd day I needed to wash my clothes. I went online and looked for the closest laundromat. Spintastic was the first on the top of the page and decided to give them a try. BEST LAUNDROMAT EVER.!! They have a pool table, some arcades and vending machines,. what about WIFI? Yes they have Wifi, my time went flying ! for the first time in my life I enjoyed doing laundry.! .... Update 8/30/15 This laundromat is going down hill. I used to love this laundromat. Not anymore I drop off clothes every week, and have been doing it for almost 3 years. I would drop it off around 9am and it would be ready by 5pm. Not no more. Now its 24hrs. Its not like I'm dropping of 3 baskets, its just a small bag. **************1.11.17******************** UPDATE I decided to give this laundromat another chance, since the one near me to me closed. I got there and I was greeted by "Sergio" he was the one that showed me how to use the card system years ago :) the place was clean and with Sergio's great service, I was able to get a new laundry card. I love Sergio and he made my experience coming back really good. Thanks Sergio!!

Antonio the attendant is FANTASTIC! He is super friendly, helpful and keeps the place spotless! If you dropped your clothes on the floor after a wash you won't cringe as much because he is constantly cleaning the floor. The setup is awesome. They have couches, a pool table, kids play area with TV, tables and chairs, free WiFi, ice cream machine, arcade games. Prices are average to high. The washers are reasonable but the dryers are on the high side. However the equipment is on the newer side. *Visited 8/20/2018 3-5 PM.

Drove 20 freaking minutes to arrive to this place at 8:40 and we were stopped at the door by the Spanish man with Chinese tattoos, saying that they closed at 8:30 when Google's says it's open until 10pm. I only have one load to wash which would be been way before 10. I have been coming here for over 5 years and have never experienced this nor seen signs on the doors stating a last wash time. I will not waste my time, money, or gas coming here anymore as well as send more customers. That guy really turned me off with his attitude and professionalism.

I am thoroughly impressed with this place. The washer and dryer were so clean and emaculatley thorough! My boyfriend and I cleaned loads and loads of clothes as we have just moved the remainder of our clothing from storage which we just wanted to do a quick wash. We're not usually a fan of public places because the machines don't seem to clean as precise as our own at our previous home but honestly the machines cleaned our items in a timely fashion and I am still making comments on how clean and soft and amazing my clothes feel. I personally believe that the machines are just as responsible of clean laundry as the detergent if not more. This is why I give it 4 and the 5th start is simply because it's comfortable with couches and a really cool pool table should you be bored. Great place!

I drove out of my way to go to this laundry mat because of such great reviews. The atmosphere was like being at home with vending machines, pool table, a separate and blocked off area for the kids to be. They have a TV that plays kids movies and there are toys for the kids to place with. They have separate men's and women's bathroom which where nice. This employee was very nice and had a warm and open feeling when talking to her. I will be back again.

Almost immaculately clean machines, well lit, OK prices? . Challenges? Washers don't spin after wash! They only drain and refill with water. All that soap in the clothes never is spun out before rinsing. The only spin is after all cycles are completed then before removal. I even paid extra for 2nd rinse cycle. It's 3 washes but no actual rinsing because of no spin cycle. Now pay again so the soap is completely removed. Won't be returning. (total cost: $10.55 to wash 1 small and 1 medium load and properly rinse + drying cost.)

Spintastic is the best laundromat to do laundry hands down. They have a ton of folding tables and the washers are really fast. I was out within an hour and 15 mins. I did have a small problem with a washer but it was my fault for not closing the washer properly. The Guy attendant was very helpful and he went above and beyond to fix my problem! My dryer broke so I googled this place. I also called and the recorded answering service says that they are open til 11 pm on Sunday. I arrived at 10:30 to dry sheets and a few other garments, all equivalent to 1 load. The doors were locked but there were 3 employees still there. I knocked and a petite Hispanic lady came to the door and says that the last dry is started an hour before closing. She pointed at a sign on the window with small print which read that the last wash is an hour and a half before closing and the last dry is an hour before closing. I asked her why this info is not posted online? She continued pointing at the sign, avoiding the question. She finally agreed to let me in and said that she will be leaving at 11 and I have to leave at 11 and that I was just slowing her down. I really wanted to express how I felt about the comment but I was focused on drying sheets to sleep on.I was finally able to put my clothes in the dryer at 10:40. I separated the load into 3 big dryers hoping that they would dry faster. I had to deposit money into a machine and the money was loaded onto a card which has to be inserted into the dryer to start. I was finally able to start drying at 10:45. I removed my clothes at 10:57 and they were still not dry. When I left, the staff was still there folding clothes for thier laundry service. The entire experience was aggravating and the staff member was not polite or empathetic. She really needs improvement with people skills.

At Spintastic on South Boulevard you are required to buy a car to do any laundry. That car cost a dollar initially if you’re wanting to drive or wash a few things you’re required to buy their card at the cost of a dollar and you can only use a debit or credit card to add money to it or you have to buy new one and be charged a dollar.
