So convenient for my late work nights. 24 hrs. A multitude of machines to choose from. It's a little more expensive than any other laundromat I've used but it's the only one on the island, so I can't blame her. The machines are often out of order but as I said there many to choose from, also I'd assume they become out of order from being open 24 hrs 7 days a week. People damage machines, they don't just die. - so I consider that a trade off for the convenience of being able to go at any hour I choose. Thanks Melissa!

Horrible! The building has NO AC. Washers seemed OK and fairly priced, but goodness, plan for at least an hour to dry a small load of towels - for commercial grade dryers this isn’t acceptable!!! 3 mins dryer time/quarter

Needed a commercial size washer for our comforter, and wanted to stay local. The entire hour or so I was there, they were cleaning everything, and said they do it daily, and it shows! I was very impressed. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, affordable machines.

Melissa is SO nice! I like that there is a wide variety of washers to pick from with different prices and sizes. It makes doing laundry easier. I love that there is an ATM & quarters machine on site . I can get cash & quarters right there with my debit card. No need to worry about getting quarters first. There is a TV to watch while waiting, or I can walk across the street to the beach! I LOVE this laundromat!

Cold water wash only, pretty clean, open 24 hours, Seemed very friendly at first and then.... could not provide Wi-Fi password, told me it was my phone! (I work for the cell phone company) , and she didnt seem to CARE whatsoever, told me that's the password and if it doesn't work call my cell phone provider,.... if you advertise WIFI then you should care.

Wow! We own and operate a cleaning service on the Island and Melissa does an excellent job taking care of our linen needs. One time, she answered the phone while she was on vacation and made time to clean a set of comforters for us within 2 hours. Simply amazed by her customer service and the care and attention she gave us. Highly recommend to any business, vacation rental company or private Airbnb/VRBO owners.

Although they just got 5 new small washing machines, there are lots of broken machines. I've seen people pounding dryers to get them to work. I've lost quite a bit of quarters in several of them as well as laundry soap when I've loaded my stuff and then discovered that machine was broken with no sign. I've also lost money when machines wash but won't spin dry so I've had to try in another machine.There's been several times we've been there and the coin machine was broken so you can't get quarters out to do your laundry. I've never seen an attendant onsite so you can't get help either. We've been stranded one too many times by not being able to do our laundry which makes it super inconvenient so we are going to town to do our laundry from now on.

Very very very clean. All new machines way hot dryers. Don't melt your clothes ! Free wifi and next to a The Veggie Wagon Market. Oh! Across the street from the beach! I get a nice swim in while my clothes wash. How to get free beach parking? Do your laundry at Melissa,s. Ps, the wifi password works? They may have changed it and not updated the card?

Went there for laundry during the freeze when my pipes were frozen and looks like they are upgrading equipment. When you enter, the washer/dryers on the right side (towards Carolina Lake) are updated and high efficiency while the other side had the older ones. Worked great because it gave us a time frame if we didn't want to stick around and wait. I would recommend bringing your own detergent and dryer sheets, which walking distance is the Scotchman.

The place is getting better you're the place is getting better but it needs to have someone to clean their ceiling fan. They blow dust and lint all over your clothes after you start folding, please fix.

The coin laundry is self serve and is 24 hours 7 days a week. It's the wash and fold sharing the building that's closed on the weekends. It's expensive and several washers and dryers were not working but it's convenient if you don't want to drive to Wilmington to do your laundry. There is very fast WiFi so that helps with the cost I suppose.

Half of the machines are always broken. Beyond that, the owner and proprietor (and I’m guessing her mom?) are rude and generally on the preemptive defense to explain to one whom dares to inquire on how expensive it is to maintain working units and justify why half of theirs are antiquated or broken. Oh did I mention they vastly overcharge? The only reason they get business is due to limited supply on the island itself. Otherwise, save your business for a better establishment.

Read the reviews, almost went somewhere else, glad I didn't. Faculty was clean, washers, dryers were clean and worked great. Melissa was very pleasant and conversation enjoyable. Said she was working to get past reviews of previous owners. You won't be disappointed

3.5 stars. It's your basic laundromat. A bit on the spendy side, and a few machines were not in working order (that being said, repairs were being made while we were there). Reasonably clean establishment.
