Always such a pleasure to come here. A simple, hassle free process every time. Nice front desk people who can have a conversation with you. I like that there's a little room where kids can play, plants, and cool vintage sewing artifacts. Just little stuff that adds to the experience. :) I tried A Cleaner World one day just because I was in a hurry and it was closer, but they did an awful job and my coat was still full of lint. Tried another local cleaner right next to my house, they did a good job but were rude. I'll stick to Fordham's even though they're far away from me--that should tell you how good they are!

Twice I have put a shirt or dress along with my husband’s dress clothes to be dry cleaned here and each time they have somehow lost my items. Definitely not trustworthy.

I've gone all over town looking for a reliable dry cleaner. Fordham's is flat out the best. At other places, big name and discount flat rate shops, suits come back with crimps pressed into the interfacing, shirt laundry is marred by uneven creases on the yoke, bunched up cuffs, slacks with creases out of line with the line of the previous crease. When there's color transfer or remnants of the spots you had the item cleaned to remove, they give you excuses. When there are flecks from excessive starch, they blame the material or sizing. Fordham's give you clean, smooth, crisp clothes with no attitude, delays or excuses. They treat you and your stuff with respect. They are always pleasant and courteous. Lindsay, the owner, is a second generation pro. She takes pride in the service she provides. You care about what you carry into her shop, she cares about what you carry out.

I an cautious to say this place is a scam. My guess is they take advantage of the students that live nearby and have few options without a car. They charged me $16 for a neo-prene jacket.. $16!!! Then $9 for a leather jacket. Never in my life have i ever paid more then HALF of what I paid at this place. I repeat this is another SCAM aimed at residents with few options.

Was charged $35 to clean a jacket. When I picked up the jacket and inspected it I noticed none of the stains had been removed and the jacket was just pressed. When I was questioned about it I was directed to a manager that said she didn’t clean it because she was afraid of removing the weatherproofing. So they were really about it charge me $35 for pressing a jacket. Then when I told her to clean it I was charged an extra $15 and the stains didn’t even come out. This place didn’t treat me with the same level of customer service as these other customers are claiming to receive in these reviews. I really feel like I was scammed into paying $50 for a press for a jacket. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Just picked up an area rug that I thought would have to be replaced..... looked brand new! Thrilled with every aspect of my experience. Also, Fordham does all my everyday dry cleaning. Always perfect!!!

I’m not sure why I haven’t left a review yet since I have used this Dry Cleaners for about 12 years! I have always gotten my items back when they were promised, expertly cleaned and at a fair price! I’ve used them for shirts, suits, comforters and other dry cleanings. This place is what you would want from a locally owned business!
