This place closes for winter and that literally has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. It is January and it does not reopen until April apparently no one inhabits Durham in those months...

I lost 2$ after changing it from heavy soil to no extra add ons for washing clothes. I had already put $2.00 in, when i changed it, it said i had to pay the full price and didn't deduct what i had already put in,when i really only should've had to put in $1.50. And a phone number to contact the owner about any issues would be nice. I love it here, don't get me wrong! It is perfect, always easy and open spots majority of the time to wash anything! So i got home, this is the second time after washing and drying my clothes, they have had grease stains now. One was a brand new comforter for my daughter, a nice button down shirt of my husband's, and on my kids clothes. Is the pizza place next door washing their greasy items there or what's really going on? S

Great location! It's not pretty, but it's clean and convenient! We were visiting from out of town and our hotel had no laundry. We dropped off our clothes in a washer and then went to one of the many hip tasty restaurants around the laundromat. I would highly recommend it. $2.75/ load for an upright agitating washer, $3.50/load for a larger front loader. Caution: there is no AC so it is HOT in the Summer. Lots of 2hr street parking or pay lot across the street. There is a free lot across the street but you must be visiting a business in that lot, as well, or they can tow.

Racial profiling still exists on 9th Street Mr.Fields owner of Fields laundromat is very much racist along with his wife and sons they down talk colored people yet we patronize his business I myself as a black man will never again patronize any businesses he is the owner of Mr. Fields not all people of color are stupid or homeless as you seem to portray us to be. You sir need to treat every customer the same reguardless of the color of their skin

Clean but nobody works inside if you have problems.. Dryer wouldn't stay on the screen said door I opened and closed it and it still didn't work

I lost a lot of change in one of the large washers there but, after some looking, I found the info to call the owner and he came and got it all back for me within minutes. The rest of the machines I used worked well, and I was able to quickly finish up and go about my day.
