Excellent customer experience. The staff were all extremely friendly, even remembered my name. My clothes was delivered on time, as promised. My shirts were packed separate from my suites, with the heavy starch i requested. I will continue to use The Eco Laundry Company for all my laundry needs.

I recently moved to New York from Paris. A friend of mine told me about the eco laundry company. I'm very picky with the quality of the wash for my work clothes, shirts and suits and the result was impeccable. The dry cleaned clothes came back with none of that awful chemical scent. The fact that it's eco-friendly is a huge plus for me too.

I have never been MORE impressed by the level of sustainability of a brand. ESPECIALLY one like laundry which inherently uses a lot of energy. Not only is the energy they use 100% renewable, but the entire location is built by an eco-engineer. All the cleaning supplies they use are eco-safe and even their ambiance is nice. This is one of the times where you know the $ your spending is TOTALLY worth it

After posting a negative review about the customer service and service itself on Yelp, I came in to pick up my thrice-redone dry cleaning and actually was greeted by the two founders/owners of the company, who were very apologetic and reassured me that my bad experience would not happen again. I will likely use the laundry service instead of the dry cleaning service next time because their prices are fair and using eco-friendly products is important to me.

After one bad experience with Eco Laundry (many good ones as well) I posted a review sharing my frustrations. Immediately, the owner called me personally and was incredibly kind and genuine in expressing his apology. Beyond this one experience, the staff has always remembered my name and done a great job with my clothes. Everyone makes mistakes every once in a while, but the way that they professionally handled this situation made me very confident that I will be going back indefinitely. Thanks for the great service guys!

Don't get me wrong- I love their products and services, but I've been confronted with such attitude by two of the employees so regularly for no reason. They make me feel uncomfortable when I ask for a delivery or for a pick up. I'm not the only one because it's happened to my roommate too! I have arrived at 7:30 AM and at 6:45 PM to pick up dry cleaning and the stores have been closed. Or whenever I try to call after 6PM they never answer. Because of this I can never get deliveries. The owner is so friendly and my clothes always come back nice, but I just dread dealing with said two employees so much I've begun taking it to a place around the corner which is also Eco-friendly and offers 30% off your first time.

I'm so happy I found their store on 3rd Ave in Gramercy during my last visit to NYC. My clothes came back looking great. They were very friendly and accommodating. And most importantly, they are truly passionate about saving the environment. Most people have no idea how toxic typical dry cleaning is. It's mind-blowing that this place is a B corp! This is such an easy way for New Yorkers to help save the environment. I wish they had a store in DC.

It's really frustrating. On my second visit I reiterated to the person at the door that I wanted a no heat dry. His general attitude was hurried and dismissive, as I'd notice on the first visit. On the second visit I asked him specifically, you're going to do a no heat dry, right? "Yeah yeah" was his response as he turned away. Alas, they didn't do a no heat dry and three pairs of pants, all of which they'd washed before with no problems, now look like silk legging highwaters. It's a real bummer. My advice is to ask for your preferences multiple times to really reiterate what you want.

I really wanted to love this place after learning it’s one of the few actually non-toxic dry cleaners in NYC. Unfortunately, my experiences have not been positive overall. I recently picked up a designer dress I had taken here to dry clean (specifically to get the wrinkles out before a wedding) only to discover the dress crumpled at the bottom of the bag/more wrinkled than before. They did not charge me thankfully for the cleaning; however, I was told if I wanted them to steam it (which would involve me taking the dress across town to the east side location) they would charge me then for the ineffective cleaning. I was willing to overlook this as a one off bad experience; however, I have just discovered that a Reformation skirt I took here sadly has shrunk from previously being a below the knee length to mid knee which is just not cute. So unfortunately I will have to find another eco cleaner.

I now moved to another neighborhood so I started using their 3rd Ave location with the same great service! Pretty good overall, the turnaround for a wash and fold was about 24 hours. Some of my cotton t-shirts came back a little tight. Given they were machine drying I was expecting that. But I go to the gym a lot so now I get to flaunt it. Staff seemed a little standoffish but it's a laundry, not a hair salon.

Damaged some of our clothes and didn’t compensate or offer to compensate. Instead kept postponing to clarify what happened by telling us ‘we are coordinating with the plant.... we got tired of chasing the matter after 3 months of time wasting. never again!
