You have the feddbacks of real people who consumed the products of Sun Park Laundromat (Laundry) in New York area.
At the present this business receives a rating of 3.6 stars over 5 and the score is based on 35 reviews.
As you can see its rating is very good, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the rating is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put opinions when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Laundry is classified in the category of Laundromat.
Much bigger than it might appear from the outside.
Space is a little tight, but pretty clean. Drop off service available... They open super early They clean the lint traps regularly...
Machines are extremely clean and maintained frequently so they look almost brand new. Friendly woman runs the place. Prices are reasonable. Change and laundry product vending machines are available.
Clean w/ long hours--does the job!
this was the closest laundry place for us, I was a bit skeptical reading reviews but decided to try it myself. Really clean place, nice and friendly women working there. WE did wash and fold, it was done the next day - huge laundry bag is around 18$ with softener. they charge differently for comforters pillows etc. I did my own separating and no missing things. will try the laundromat too
I would recommend to not go to this laundramat. The owner of Sun Park Laundromant has lost a weekly customer. Instead of helping me fix a mistake I made that cost me money he instead called me stupid. He told me I should stand in front of my washer in the aisle that isn't wide enough for a guest with cart to go by, also while he has workers projecting dryer lint into the air during busy washing hours. If the man is cutting corners by not helping a customer fix a mistake, and instead calling him stupid, this man is probably cutting corners somewhere else in his business.
Heavy language barrier (no English). Quick service, but they lost my favorite pair of underwear and damaged some brand new shorts and ignored or didn’t understand my complaint when I came back
I wasn't thrilled about having to use a laundromat, but this place pleasantly surprised me! It's very clean and the people there are nice and helpful. It's also practicality outside my door which is a major plus.
Lots of good clean working machines, room to separate & fold clothes, probably the best laundromat experience I have ever had.... 3 loads finished & folded in just over an hour. Plus they open early.
I has a pleasant experience as well. It was no problem getting dollars for the change machine. 1 load=$2, and $1 buys you 24 min in the dryer (6min/$.25). I'm traveling and I actually had no problem borrowing soap from another friendly patron. One of the elderly patrons even bothered to get my attention when I dropped $2 and didn't realize it. I enjoyed hot tea at a Vietnamese restaurant up the street while I waited, but would have happily sat across the street at Columbus park to read had there been enough sun. Overall a nice way to spend an hour if you're staying nearby.
I've been here at the end of February 2013, and I was immediately greeted by an old non-english speaking chinese man, who was very angry at me as soon as I said "good day". After a few angry syllabic shouts, I was brought into the bowels of the laundry, where 10 washing machines stood. The price is 2.25$, plus the detergent, which you have to bring from outside. They don't sell it, and you MUST NOT ask if they sell it, because they get really angry if you ask. Half of the washing machines don't work, but don't ask which ones, you have to find out by yourself (the not working ones will just not accept coins). I suggest you stay inside while the washing proceeds, because if it happens that the washing ends and you are not there, you break a magic rule and the aforementioned old Chinese guy will IMMEDIATELY throw all your clothes on the ground and carelessely step on them (he did that in front of me with another guy's clothes). So my suggestion is to wait inside, a full washing cycle takes around 30-40 minutes, which you have to endure surrounded by evil-looking Chinese people, without anywhere to sit. Overall, this was my worst experience ever not only with automated laundries, but with shops in general. However, the choice for laundries in Chinatown is qualitatively/quantitatively very nasty, other reviews describe no better places. In your shoes, I would just bring everything to a most enlightened district of the City.
There are change machines available or just ask the operator. May need to speak clearly and slowly as operator is Chinese and may have difficukty understanding.

I received some pillows as a gift that came packaged vacuum sealed with a label that said to fluff the pillows in a dryer before first use. I came here just to use the dryer for this purpose. When I was getting ready to put things in one of the empty dryers, a lady said that I could not just use the dryers, I was not allowed to bring in wet laundry from outside to dry, and that that rule is written on a posted sign of the rules. I told her that I was not bringing in wet laundry, I had dry, clean, new pillows in their wrapper that needed to be fluffed. She said I couldn't use the dryer, its in the rules that its not permissible to bring in wet things from outside. I showed her the pillows in their wrapper. She said I could not use the dryer. I asked to confirm that I really couldn't just use a dryer for 15 min to fluff my still-in-package pillows, and not any wet laundry from outside. She said no, I could not use the dryer. I checked the sign and it did specify that no wet laundry could be brought in, but nothing about not being able to just use the dryers alone. I was completely refused service for something that did not go against the posted rules of the establishment. I went to another place nearby instead that had the same "no outside wet laundry" rule, but were able to accommodate me when I showed them the in-package pillows. I suppose this place could be fine for total self service laundry needs, but I wouldn't be able to say that from my experience.
Really nice and helpful women working there, place is clean, all machines are in a good condition.
Great. Costs the same as Nashville and right around the corner! About 10$ to wash for one
Went to pick up my laundry today, went home only to find out a few clothes are missing, called the lady and told her my order number and asked her to check my laundry and she replied, “come here I busy”, would not come back and would recommend everyone not have their laundry done here.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful, but small and possible to pay attention to it because it is under the ground and where to change the currency from paper to metal and prefer to answer detergents with you from outside (Original) جميلة و لكن صغيرة و ممكن ما تنتبه لها لانها موجودة تحت الارض و فيها اله لتبديل العملة من ورقية الى معدنية و يفضل تجيب المنظفات معاك من الخارج
The lady here is rude. Her tone is out of order and the workers are racist towards other people that are not Asian. I would never come back again. There are other laundromats close by.
Cheap and quick
Washing machine broke with my clothes in it. They were dripping wet. The lady managing the shop at the time refused to admit the machine broke and told me to put them in a different machine and pay again. I have no more money. I'm taking home wet detergent filled clothes.... To a camper van with no running water. She refused to admit fault. Refused a refund. I'm going to find empty bottles and free tap water and spend the rest of my day fixing this. Thanks lady. I hope the $2.50 means more to you than it dose to me.
One of the staff didn't like my being a single male washing clothes around females at this location. This guy tampered with my machine so that my laundry didn't get clean. Unbelievable.
Nice, clean laundry, friendly, helpful staff, service was perfect.
Very nice people. Drop offservice. They did a great job.
There is a lot of washer and dryer. The place is clean and there is two machine for quarters. People are not that friendly... unless you speak mandarin or Cantonese
Downstairs. Super tight in space. Clean. $4.50 for large drum. $2.50 for medium drum. No small. $0.25 for 10 minutes of drying time. I average about $10 for two drums worth of washing and drying.
VERY cramped place to do your laundry is bad enough. The owner's attitude and disposition is worse! Rude, nasty and mean with a face to match. Won't be washing my clothes here EVER again! Too many nicer places in NYC to put up with this kind of crap.
