Jeeves is an absolute life saver!! My boyfriend's brother got married last weekend in NYC. Their mother and father (of the groom) flew in from Michigan. When they opened their suitcases, his suit and shirt were wrinkled beyond belief (stupid airport employees) and her dress was a mess!!! Another groomsman flew in from California - same situation! With everyone in a panic, I had decided based on Jeeves reputation, that that would be a great place to try and work a miracle in just a few hours... Just so happens everything came back to us in better condition than when it was packed!! They are UNBELIVEABLE - and for them to stick their neck out and care about our garments and the wedding, as if they were actually in the wedding themselves, is a rare quality these days.... USE JEEVES when you need to look your best, and everyday - trust me, you won't be sorry!

MAJOR FIND!! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding recently. The mail-order-according-to-some-dubious-size-chart dress was a Disaster: three sizes too big, not to mention flammable... and for a beautiful evening wedding. The tailor recommended by the Wedding Library dress co. would not touch it, said it was impossible to alter a dress that big. I could not imagine Resigning as Bridesmaid (!) So. I texted some friends in the know.... The most confident reply was: "Go to Jeeves on 65th Street and ask for Jerry, the manager." Off I went and within minutes, Anthony, the tailor, was pinning me up and giving me hope!! He is a couture-trained tailor. It is his trade, not a job. His talent was obvious in seconds. I knew then and there that Jeeves on 65th Street was An Address, one of those in-the-know secrets. I was thrilled! Tailors like this are few and far between. Ours had retired a few years ago, and we had not yet found a real replacement. Anthony was it! I could tell! I went for three more fittings in the course of the week -- always greeted by smiles and by my name. By the end of the week, the disaster dress was not only elegant and wearable, I was complimented on how it fit all through the evening!!! Also, while not inexpensive, they charged less than Madame Paulette - and without a doubt, while Equal might exist, Better does not. The Sixth Star for this Five-Star establishment centers on Customer Service -- it is Outstanding!! Jerry and his Team make a very high-end (green-tech) "dry cleaner" and "tailor" feel like a warm, family-run boutique. They like what they do. They care about every customer. Ex) Due to some kind of communication error, they thought I was coming in to make sure the final touches worked (logical) and collect the dress. I thought the dress was done and would just be delivered. When I arrived home just after close of business on the eve of the wedding (with a 10AM rehearsal call), I was startled that there was no dress waiting for me.... I rang and left a worried message on the answering machine. Within an hour, Jerry called me back, explained there had been a misunderstanding, and organised someone to come in early and deliver the dress to me. THAT IS SERVICE. Six Stars. Wonderful people. Outstanding service. Total Find :)

Are the pricey? You bet. But they are worth every dime and a penny. Your articles are taken in with care (no stuffing in to a bin) and returned to you in pristine condition. Jerry you are best.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Jeeves New York. I had to have a trench coat cleaned, and I noted that there were two stains on the lapel and front of the coat that I wanted them to try and remove. I was so nervous, because I did not think the lapel stain could be removed. When the garment was returned, however, it looked as good as new. While the cost is obviously higher than your standard cleaners, you absolutely get what you pay for. Additionally, both the pick up and delivery were well within the windows I gave them, and the customer service was superb. If you are looking for an expert dry cleaning service in NYC - look no further.

I have used the original Jeeves of Belgravia since I lived in Belgravia some 38 years ago. There is absolutely no one that I would use to take care of delicate clothing. Also, their home visits for drapery, upholstery ect., is superb. Expert, knowledgeable and to top it all extremely professional.

I brought in a very delicate, very light colored lambskin vest that had oil marks on it. It was a special order that needed to be pristine before sending it to a client. Jeeves not only got the stains out, but they did it quickly, and kept me updated on the progress throughout. I would trust them with any and all leather pieces in the future!

Jeeves is a life saver! After attempting to spot clean a black and white striped herve leger (see the "Stain Removal!?!?!?... Don't try it at home" blog entry on Jeeves' website), the dress ended up covered in stains when the black dye bled onto the white stripes. I took it to Jeeves and within a week, they had removed 100% of the stains and now the dress is in perfect condition! They have excellent customer service and will walk you through the steps they took to clean any item (and give you tips on how to avoid this kind of disaster in the future). I would highly recommend them!

Normally I use a local cleaners but was on vacation and needed a good cleaner so was searching for 1 with good reviews and unfortunately jeeves reviews sounded good, What should I say I made a huge mistake the service and the job was terrible,so if you have a junk cheap dress then it's worth the risk but if you need even normal service look somewhere else

Jeeves is excellent! They came to my rescue BIG TIME. I had a last minute issue with my wedding dress and had to find a new dress a week before I got married. I found a new dress and Jeeves was beyond accomodating. They cleaned the dress beautifully and made alterations that would have taken others months! After a nightmare situation with the US Post Office, Jeeves was there 110% to help me find the precious 70 year old christening gown that the Post Office had no idea of it's whereabouts. I had a scarf from Celine in Paris,pure silk. One morning I accidentally spilled makeup on it .... lots of makeup. First I took it to the local dry cleaners who could not get the he stains out. Then I found Jeeves and they were absolutely positive they could get the stains out and told me not to worry as they do this all the time. I was skeptical, until they shipped the he scarf back to me as clean as could be... not a stain could be found on the entire scarf. It was perfect. These guys rock - I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

sitting in the store as i write this anxiously waiting gor staff to find my wedding dress. the dress was supposed to be ready for pickup a week before my wedding. i was then told they needed 4 more days giving me just three days before my wedding day. i came to pick it up today after calling to let them know i would do do. they are now searching video footage to find it. this is unacceptable. it has been 30min.
