Though I didn't like the 4 -hour arrival window, when they did arrive both young men were professional and prompt. Chris, who operated the equipment, was careful and was even able to get a tea stain out that had been on my carpet for a couple years. For the price I was charged expected my carpets to look brand new. They don't...I can still see dark spots on the high traffic areas. I feel like it was very rushed. Every other carpet company have used went slowly so it kind of threw me for a loop when they did it super fast. Definitely will try someone else next time they came back out and this time I am highly satisfied with the results!!! Definitely recommend them now!

I then used them again Monday 10/07/19 and they were there at a reasonable time, but the young kid did a fast halfass job on the master bedroom while the older gentleman did an amazing job on the other bedroom and hallway and area rug! The area that needed cleaning was very small as i live in an apartment. They went over it so fast, it took them longer to get the equipment up than it did to clean it. I pointed out the stains and when they were finished the stains were still visible. When i questioned it he just said that it was because the carpet was flat in those areas. Its burber carpet and i had other furniture in there and there were no "flat" spots there. Paid $100 for a 15 min job and it wasnt done well. Wont call them again.

Rich and his assistant Chase did a fantastic job on my heavily pet stained, cream colored carpets! My carpets now look brand new! Rich was so friendly and professional, went over the cleaning process thoroughly with me, and Chase and him were done in under an hour. Chase was very friendly too. I would highly recommend this top notch team of Rich and Chase, and have signed up for the 15 month plan, on Rich's recommendation, so my carpets can stay this clean and beautiful all year long. Also I find Stanley Steemer prices very reasonable compared to other comparable companies.

Excellent service. The crew arrived after we discovered that my water had been cut off. Instead of leaving, they scheduled a new crew to come out later the same day to bring their own water with them so that the carpets could still be cleaned. Very impressed with their service. I wish I could give them no stars! They were recommended by our insurance company when we had a flood in our basement. They insisted there was no need to cut into the walls to check damage when even the insurance adjuster said it should be done. We found out later they couldn't because they don't have the right license, of course they never told us that. On top of that they did an awful job! They ripped the baseboards out, and I do mean ripped leaving huge holes to repair. They left the nail filled baseboards in our main area where our two small children play! I attached a photo to show the long rusty nails sticking out, these were left in a pile on our floor. We had to throw them away ourselves. They didn't remove all of the flooring in the laundry room. If your insurance company says you have to use them stand up for yourself and say no, you do not! They only care about making the insurance company happy not the home owner. DO NOT USE THEM NO MATTER WHAT.

This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Our landlord advised us to use Stanley steamer for duct cleaning. They arrived this morning as I was leaving for work. My husband stayed while they cleaned. He called me shortly after to tell me that they left a large mess behind. I came home to find large chunks of debris and dirt all over the floor, furniture, and carpet. I was shocked that a company that stands by its slogan for “cleaning and great customer service” would leave my home in such a state. I went round and round with a manager named Karyn, who made me feel like this was a completely unique experience for her to receive a complaint. I sent her pictures and video of the unacceptable mess that her employees overlooked. She agreed that there was a mess, but didn’t have anyone available to clean in. As a former store manager for a prominent company, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Karyn made me feel unreasonable for asking that a manager help clean it if no one else was available. She refused to speak to me any further, and handed me off to another manager who agreed to fix it, only after I asked to speak with the store’s owner. Long story short, don’t hire this company to clean for you. They left my home a mess, and were extremely unaccountable for their work. Based on several one star reveiws above mine, I’d like to point out that my customer service experience was hardly unique, KARYN. My response to the owner**** With all due respect to the owner, your team is only as strong as its leadership. You are forwarding my complaint to the entity that it was leveled against. As the owner, you should address the issues within the management team. Perhaps start at square one; by retraining them on what engaging a customer, with a customer service complaint should entail. The purpose of my review was not to seek out a discount, or a coupon for a service in the future. I would never hire your company again. The purpose was to advise other consumers that they have many options, and inform them that your location will do a poor job, and then not be accountable for their work. I hope that you will take action, as I can see that I’m not the only customer that has been dissatisfied with your service.

Stanley Steemers.. does great work no question and we relied on them for years, but the service fees are nothing short of outrageous. I bought the new Hoover carpet cleaner for $108 and it works amazingly well ! Carpets look fresh and new. Sorry Stanley's..this machine is literally a going out of business plan for you. Great ease of use, no leaking, kills stains, quicker drying than the Stanley service. With a little effort I was stunned with the perfect results.

They worked together efficiently like clockwork removing the air vents, washing each one while Corey used a whip-like device to remove the dust from the ductwork. It's a fascinating process. I payed to have them clean, deodorize, and protect my carpets. On their website it says they're supposed to move the furniture and that didnt happen and the carpets smelled again after it dried. They came back out because they didnt move the furniture. After the second time the carpet dried, they smelled again. However, the dark stains are gone, so I'm happy about that at least.

I was looking for natural, unscented carpet cleaning for my new home office rental. Living with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity myself, my business serves the MCS population, by providing clean, fragrance-free environment for my customers. Stanley Steemer gave me a 1:00 to 4:00 appointment and the tech sent a text to let me know he was on his way right at 1:00. Because the toxic chemical issue is so critical to my business and my own health, I explained to Tyler, the tech, that no perfume and no strong chemical residue can be left behind. The tech listened carefully to my concerns and he suggested pure steam extraction. Even when wet, there was no scent of chemicals. Carpet was completely dry within 4 hours (fast on a hot New Mexico afternoon!) My carpets are clean (they do tile too!) I found Stanley Steemer to be prompt, reasonably priced, and most importantly, excellent customer service. Thank you Tyler and Stanley Steemer - Highly Recommended!!

Richard was especially considerate of her needs, and showed a friendly and caring attitude toward her. He spoke gently to her about her furniture, her cats, and her carpets. He greatly encouraged her so that she would not feel uncomfortable. Richard also encouraged us to get the disinfectant for the carpets, and I think that helped so much. When she returned to her apartment after the cleaning, my friend was absolutely delighted with the freshness and smell. I highly recommend Stanley Steemer.

These guys are crooks. As soon as the men got in our house, the boss told us the main area was larger than the 16 x 20' area the quoted price of $159 covered, but if we gave him a big tip, he'd overlook it or it would be $37.50 more. I checked it later and it is, not quite 16 x 20'. Then he told us our bedroom closet wasn't covered and would be $37.50 more, unless he got a bigger tip. When we reluctantly agreed to the "tip" he said for a bigger tip he'd do us a favor, like doing the shower or another room. We refused, and they set to work. When they were done, we asked to see the dirty water tank, and they refused to let us see it. We paid the $159, plus another $45 in "tips/extortion money" in cash, which was all we had in our wallets. I would like to add that the boss of this days work was stoned, his eyes were red-rimmed and bloodshot. As he left, I pretended I was happy about the service and asked for his business card, intending to get his name and report him. He grabbed paper off of my desk and left me his name and personal cell phone number! Avoid at all costs! 1/18/18 UPDATE The manager, Karyn Jeszke, contacted me by mail, apologizing for "service not to my satisfaction". She never mentioned the extortion by her employee or consequences for him being stoned while he was here, or giving me his phone number so I could contact him privately. His name is Gregg, avoid at all costs or it will cost you. She enclosed a gift certificate for future work, which is a joke, since I will never use this company again, and have begun a word of mouth campaign to tell people how they operate.

We needed our carpets cleaned because the previous tenant had a cat. We decided that it was best if we hired a professional carpet cleaner to remove as much of the cat hair as possible. The workers came in quickly and had cleaned our whole home in less than three hours. The next day we purchased a new vacuum. There was so much cat hair and dirt left over that I had to empty the canister twice per room. We spoke with the survey people and they had the manager sent out to look at our carpets. On their website it says "satisfaction guaranteed". I asked for a refund as we were just going to replace the carpets. The manager, told me that because they hadn't been paid for the work yet. He could go behind the owners back and just issue us a refund. After having not heard from him for a week I called back and asked what was happening. At which point he informed me that they would not be issuing a refund and they wanted to come out and clean the carpets again. I asked what good is it to have them come out if I already got most of the cat hair. How would I know if they were actually doing a better job? I told him I would speak with my wife and see what she thought. We agreed we just wanted a refund, so I called him back. He has not returned my calls or made any attempt to correct the problem.

As a 5 year maintenance tech of a 100 unit apt building and private owner of rentals I've never had a good experience with this company. The techs that come on site appear to have no real training and when asked don't know what certification is. A tenant (not required) on move out had them come and do a cleaning of a stairwell and hallway. It looked the same after the 20 minute cleaning(dirty). I won't repeat the lame excuse the tech gave when leaving....poor training. Use a quality company that does a good job. (Jensen's does well and the owner Joel follows up if ever a complaint- - I'm not affiliated)

My wife called to have the house carpet cleaned 1850 SqFt, just to give you an idea. So they showed up and left in 40 minutes, (which sounds standard from reading other comments). I could not believe this. This included them vacuuming, putting down the deoderizer (which i dont smell anything, not sure if I am supposed to) and then cleaning the carpet. I don't see how it is even possible for anyone to do the above on this size house in 40 minutes. The only reason they are getting two stars is because the guys cleaned a couple of carpet pieces 4 sqft for nothing. Thought that was nice. But to clean a house in 40 minutes for $300 dollars is better than the amount of money a doctor would make or close to. It takes my wife 2 hours just to clean the living room herself with our cleaner. Not saying they should spend a day at my house, but come on 40 minutes, oh I forget, that included setup and tear down of the equipment. Unbelievable and I don't see a whole lot of difference yet, it has not dried completely. For the amount you pay them, go buy a nice carpet cleaner, then you can do it when you want to as many times as you want to. My wife thought that they would do a better job than what she does, not a chance of that happening in 40 minutes for the whole house. Buyer beware!!!

I like the concept of having your ducts /vents cleaned out, however I think there would be a more efficient process. The techs were friendly, professional and explained everything that was going to happen. I am more disappointed in the aftermath of the visit which left my home Dirty with dust and debris that was blown out of the vents. I had carpets cleaned and tile/grout cleaned. The carpets looked ok, but they were in fine shape before the cleaning. About 1/4 of the grout looked like it hadn't even been touched with a cleaner. The employees told me to wait - because those areas were just wet, but after they dried, they were dirty. I mentioned that I was going to have to re-scrub quite a bit of the grout (for over $400 and about 1000 square feet of tile, the job should have been done thoroughly) they offered to re-scrub any areas that needed it, but they expected me to show them every single spot that needed re-cleaned. It only required a light scrub in each area. For the effort required to show them each spot, I could clean it myself. Stanley Steemer: have some pride in the quality of your work and do it well the first time.

They took down all vent covers and cleaned them and put them back up along with cleaning the ducts. They did a great job and I am super happy with the service. I was excited to see they had an appointment available the same day only to be called to reschedule the appointment because "the dryer duct people have already left and I don't know how that appointment was available." I get a call on that Monday, during the appointment window time only to be told my appointment wasn't for Monday, but Tuesday and "I don't know how they would've scheduled you for a Monday." The two gentlemen were very nice and friendly and grateful that I had placed the chairs in the garage so it would be easier to clean them. I was shocked when less than twenty minutes past and they announced they were finished. I Immediately noticed there were still spots on all eight chairs. He told me that when the chairs dried, the spots would blend in and disappear. They did not, and although the fabric is cleaner, the spots are still there. I thought that as a professional cleaning company, they would have used a pre spot method on the stains before cleaning, but given the short cleaning time, it's obvious this step was not done. I just paid $120 for nothing and I will not use Stanley Steamer again or recommend. . I was shocked when less than twenty minutes later they announced that they were done.
