I LOVE Rainbow Laundromat. I know that seems a lot for a laundromat, but its true. Most laundromats are dirty, dimly lit, and scary. This place feels like home. The people who own it are so friendly and helpful. Everything is clean. There are beautiful plants up and a shelf of books to borrow while your laundry washes. I hope to one day have my own washer and dryer but if I didn't, I would go here forever.

I am surprised how many good reviews there are on this place. It's tiny there are three washer sizes but only two large washers which the staff yelled at me for using. Speaking of staff they were very very rude to me while I was there when I walked up to the counter The same woman who was mad I used a washer in a laundromat walked over and snapped "what?". Sorry to inconvenience you by needing change. In the end I took my clothes home still damp. Do not recommend.

This has to be one of my favorite places to go and wash when my washer was not working... They have a lot of choices for washers and dryers and even when they are busy I could wash all my clothes at once sorted out in each individual washer... The pricing for the washer and dryer are cheaper then the other laundromats in town... For 8 loads of laundry in 8 washers and drying in the dryers it took me about an hour and a half and that includes folding the clothes too and it cost around 15 dollars in quarters. They have the nicest people too... The Lady I usually get change from is always very friendly and they offer laundry service too as I always see her washing and drying people's clothes who pay for the service.

Not a chain laundromat which means they pay attention to everything. Owners have done an excellent job of hiring staff, they are wonderful. Clean and always someone there to help. Go at an odd hour, it can be hard to find a dryer.

When I arrived, there were very few people there, but most of the washers had clothes in them but already stopped. No one was near the washers to take them out. Several other machines had post-it notes saying "out of order". As for the dryers, after using more than two dollars per load and the clothes STILL not dry, I gave up and took wet stuff home to hang dry. Furthermore, the attendant was spraying a lot of ammonia on some linens. I became woozy and told her that in a place where people are using bleach the ammonia is fatal. She suggested I wait outside. Really? I'll NEVER go back.

Stopped in to wash some rugs, and it was an entirely pleasant experience. The girl at the counter was very nice--the machine wasn't starting, so she came right over and saw that I just hadn't closed the latch all the way. The place was very clean, their hours are pretty good, and there was tea, coffee, magazines, and books available for customers while they wait. I will not hesitate to go back when I need to do some more big washing!

I have been going to Rainbow for my laundry needs for 2 years now and they are always amazing. Not just with the service...the women who work here some of the nicest people I have met since moving to Albuquerque. They always communicate exactly when they will have your things cleaned and are very welcoming to all. The prices are very good for wash and fold as well.

Bad wash & fold. I asked for unscented detergent and half of my clothes came back stinking of fragrance and gave me a rash. The other half of my clothes smelled a little like dirty diapers. At pickup they demanded cash. She said they are CASH ONLY yet there was no posted sign about this. I had to leave, drive to the bank, and come back. Edit: Received response from owner. I have my copy of the receipt, and it has my name on it. The total was $67.55. Should I attach a photo of the receipt to this review? Or would you prefer I mail a copy to you at Rainbow Laundry? And thank you, I did find someone who does better laundry, Mom's on 4th St. They were great and charged me less than Rainbow did for the same laundry at the same weight. My clothes were sorted, clean, and fragrance-free.

I went to this laundromat for the first time yesterday and my box of laundry detergent was ruined. I had to go to buy another box of laundry detergent and go to another Landromat and rewash one of my loads of laundry. The box of laundry detergent that was ruined was brand new and unopened until I opened it at this laundromat to use it. Also the attendant harassed me about how much detergent I was using and I was using the same amount that I always use but no other attendants at all the other laundromats ever bother me about.

Not being familiar with laundromats, I had a sleeping bag I needed to wash. The staff was very professional, extremely helpful, and answered all of my questions. The facilities were very clean and more than sufficient to meet my needs. Next time I have an oversized item to wash, I'll definitely go back.

1 st time in this place ... was sceptical. Walked in and was amazed on how clean and cute this place is. Washers were amazing except for one. Spoke to the laundry attendant Olivia about my wash had skipped a cycle and my clothes still had alot of suds. I explained to her what happened. She offered me help with my situation by calling the owners and she restarted my clothes and came out so fresh. I'm very pleased with Olivia's profesessionlism. 2 thumbs up. I will be returning.....great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Keep up the good work.

I use the wash and press service regularly. It takes 2 days (sometimes 3). They take great care of my clothes and prices are reasonable. Clean place with friendly, professional staff. The only thing for kiddos is a claw machine, so bring stuff to keep your kids entertained.

I started going like 6 weeks ago, well got my laundry last week my work pants from Gap only 1 mo the old are completely faded! Ripped shirts, and missing socks. Spoke with owner said that's never happened before and hat they know how to do laundry! Offered a $35 credit! Really?! My pants are $60 each spend the money on training! Dark clothes means cold water to reduce fading! Never again!

I needed to wash a heavy comforter. I showed up with no soap or, softener or change, as most places sell these items or have a change machine. Well imagine my surprise when I didn't see these vending machines!! I was pleasantly surprised to see the proprietor provides all these items! I was very happy with his assistance. The laundromat is clean and even has plants! Highly recommend. They also wash and fold, and press for you!
