I love this laundry mat! It is always very clean and maintained. The prices off the machines are more reasonable than other locations. They offer WiFi while you are doing your laundry. So, it's a very inviting place.

If I could, I would rate this place -5 stars. What you get @ Soap Opera: Lazy, annoying, and intrusive employees Sub-par washers & dryers that may or may not be working, need to be cleaned (detergents/softeners left in cups), need maintenance, etc Just plain bad entertainment for kids Go down the street a few blocks with for a much, much better experience @ Maytag.

My husband and I were in town from Ohio for his job. Having accumulated a week's worth of laundry, it was time to do some washin'. The hotel laundry was expensive so we decided it was be beneficial to go to a laundromat. We found the Soap Opera and was pleasantly surprised! It was very clean, not too busy and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The childrens' corner was delightful - a playhouse with toys, movies, etc. The tables/chairs combo are a little outdated, but perfectly serviceable. Most laundromats I am used to are run down, unsupervised and worrisome to use. But here, we were welcomed by a wonderful lady who seemed content in her position - which is very important for customer service vocations - and we were not skeptical at all to use the machines. I did not use the tanning bed, as I'm not a self tanner, but they did advertise that it was equipped with new bulbs. If we ever have need to come back to Beatrice, we will definitely be returning. I wholly recommend this facility!

Terrible experience! I had my two year old child with me who was exceptionally well behaved (which surprised me) since he is 2. We simply did our laundry, folded it, and we're getting ready to leave and the attendant was very rude, slamming carts around, cursing for no apparent reason, and as we left told us "don't come back" so if you willing to deal with a temperamental attendant this is your place to go!

I rarely go to laundry mats but when my washer needed repaired I did. I wasn't real sure on how it worked (the difference in washers mostly) but Thank goodness for your staff. One lady in particular was so helpful! I will continue to go here when needed. Just wish there was a way to use debit cards or.get change with your debit card.

Lady who works in the front seens nice and I enjoy visiting this location. It is always quiet and well maintained. The prices are better than others in town, even though the dryers don't work as well, I'll admit. (I am sure not to overfill them).
