Brian, the manager of the Kalispell store, was extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations for my washer/dryer purchase and took the time to help me with the decision. John was prompt in scheduling the delivery and a return trip to reverse the dryer door after I changed my mind about which way I wanted it to open. The delivery men were courteous and professional and were actually early for both appointments.

We needed a new washing machine and Fred’s were able to deliver it the next day! A competitor couldn’t deliver until after Christmas (over 2 weeks out). The salesman showed us what they had and reviewed the difference between front and top load machines. It was a very positive experience, our 2nd purchase from Fred’s within 4 months.

Super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Didn't mind our crazy 3 year old running amok in the store. They spent a lot of time with us during a busy day and walked me through a ton of options again and again. We've always gotten appliances at Sears. Never being completely warm and fuzzy after leaving. The last interaction we had at Sears was terrible, never going back. I can't wait for the next appliance to break down!

We were in the market for a new gas range and wanted to try and shop local first. My gas oven died and we were in dire need to replace it asap. So we did some online homework between Lowes, Home Depot and Freds. Fred's website was not easy to manuever in order to get actual pricing. What I did find was that most of the appliances I could get at Lowes or Home Depot were marked up a couple hundred dollars more. Then I viewed their reviews and was really disappointed. My husband and I are always ready to shop local first, we have both owned businesses where we relied on locals, but between the prices and reviews where no one in management replied to make things right with their customers, we went to Lowes and got a great deal on a gas range and even took it home that same night. Word to the wise to Freds and this is why I am giving you 3 stars, if you listen to your local citizens and attempt to make things right, along with not marking up your items to ridiculous prices, then you will gain a solid local following. Until then, Ill stick with Home Depot and Lowes.

Begrudgingly appeased my wife this weekend and purchased new LG washer dryer combo. No pushy salesmen, prompt delivery and professional installation, and overall great customer service. Box stores couldn't beat price. Hate spending money but couldn't be happier with product and service! Thank you Fred's associates you folks are great!

Not happy with the repair service. First you have to call out of State or order repair service online. You get charged high rate for just coming to look at the appliance, then you have to pay labor above that! Also only one repair person for the entire valley so you have to wait again once the parts do come in to have them installed. I won't use them again and won't purchase from the store either.

Just had the best experience with Dan Murphy at Fred’s Appliances in Kalispell (and Marty in training!) it was super easy and Dan was incredibly helpful and did not pressure us. He listened to what we needed and found the refrigerator for us. I cannot day enough about Fred’s, and if you are looking for a new appliance, I would start here!

What a joke in regards to warrantee service. After not ordering or taking possession of the part needed, and no followup in regard to the status of what was happening, i called to inquire and they wanted to know if i had contacted the manufacturer. What? I wasnt aware that i was supposed to dotheir job for them. So now a third call, and the store is blaming the parts department, while the parts department blames the store. Oh yeah, thats right, they already got my money.

Excellent customer service and care. Lowe's messed up our appliance order, not scheduling an install and telling us the wrong size fridge to buy. Fred's came out and measured and told us exactly which fridges would fit in our particular space and it fit like a glove! Fred's Appliance has earned our business for a long time to come.

It would honestly take me a book to explain what we went through for a washer and dryer. Absolutely a nightmare, the only reason they even get a star is because of Allen, if you’d like your product you’ve bought to be in good condition or delivered on time go somewhere else. Also when I’m trying to talk to a salesman, it’d be great if your manager didn’t yell at the employees. Do not recommend. You all have no idea what we went through best of luck...

We purchased a Frigidaire Professional. Staff was kind and professional. Our refrigerator was delivered the next day. So far, so good. We are happy with the French doors and freezer drawers below. Also the dual ice makers are great.

The first spec home we built we used Jason at Fred's. Everything went smooth and we liked the maytag products. We recently built our second spec and used a combination of GE and Jenair with Kathy. This time the exsperiance was crappy at best. Unprofessional/ comunication was BAD. After paying $9,000 for our package. I called 2 weeks later to check on the status of our order She said "Somewhere in the next 2 weeks ish." As a contractor 2 weeks "ish" dosnt make any scense. When schedualing subs to do countertops and plumbing. When the appliances arrived the delivery crew was great. Very polite and helpful. They don't do install so take note you will have to pay a plumber to install. Once the install was complete. The dishwasher worked one time and then died. 2 weeks later repair guys came out and couldn't fix it. 2 weeks after that they came out and couldn't fix it. Then they said it would be another 2 weeks for parts AGAIN. After hearing that I was pissed so I called very upset and they said we had to uninstall it and take it back to their location in Kalispell. Then they would get us a new one. Finally I had had enough of being jerked around. So I called Jason and he scheduled for the truck to come out the next day pick up the broken one and drop off a new one. I wish they would have just done that the first go round. That would have been much appreciated and good customer service. The new dish washer is scheduald to be delivered tomorrow.... we shall see what happens. Will we use Fred's again? Probably but I would only recommend working with Jason.

Worst experience I have ever had with an appliance store. Run, don't walk away. We were remodeling and purchased a range top $2,850. One specific need was that the range top come with griddles. The store associate assured us it did. While we were there, my husband quickly searched online and could not find a griddle that was made for that range top. The store associate assured us that it did and said she had other avenues to get products that we were not privy to. So, we went ahead and ordered it (it was not in stock), as well as a $1,200 vent hood and $239 duct cover. Delivery would take five weeks. On week four I called to check on things and make sure everything was still moving along. That is when it all fell apart. The range top was not made with matching griddles. The store manager, Brian, got involved. He was very professional and accommodating and was able to order a different brand that was actually better (for the same price) and put a rush on it. Sounds great, but there were all kinds of mix ups. The range top was delivered, then for some reason sent from Kalispell to Missoula. It was then sent back up to Kalispell. We called to pick it up and were told it was buried with inventory. This was at about week 6 or 7. The vent hood and duct cover were still MIA as well. We finally got all of the appliances, but the duct cover was damaged. At this point, it was late in the game and we were not happy. My husband brought it to Fred's and they agreed to take it back since it was damaged. But it would be 8 weeks to get a replacement!!! My husband got online and ordered directly from the manufacturer and we had it to our house in three days. Meanwhile, our sales association said she credited the $239 back to our account for the duct cover. It is now January, 25th and still no credit. I have called the store and the sales associate says she has done it. But she hasn't. They are polite, but polite doesn't cut it when you screw up so much and don't credit an account when you say you have. I filed a dispute report today with the credit card company that works with Fred's. I have yet another call in to the manager regarding this and have not heard back. I feel sorry for anyone that shops there because if they buy from the floor, it may go smoothly, but don't order anything and don't expect any help once an order has been placed.

It's refreshing to go to a store where the sales staff is knowledgeable about the appliances in the store and can help me make an informed purchase. I don't often find this level of service at the big hardware stores. Fred's has become my go-to for appliance purchases for our remodel project. Sticker prices may seem higher at first, but I have found that they are able to match lower prices if another store has the same item on sale. Good service and prices-- I'd recommend Fred's.

After buying my Thermador kitchen appliances I was told they would call as soon as they came in. After waiting 2-1/2 months, I called them to get a update as to how much longer? Ater some investigation they said they had everything. No explanation was given, like they forgot to call but all was in. The double oven packaging had been opened. Plus I have a hard time believing the packaging was done by Thermador. A 4 hundred pound double oven was sitting on 1 x 1 flimsy pallet which was broken by the time it got home. I suspect I was given a floor model. Even the Exhaust fan box had been opened. We had asked our sales rep to mail a small adapter kit to our PO Box as we didn't have a mail box yet. We asked where that was, we're told they sent it to our street address and it had came back to the store. Why didn't someone call then? Great sales adds but no deals found at Fred's Appliance.

Worst store ever!!!! Bought a new washer and dryer it was a hassle to have it delivered. But when they finally hooked it up they cross threaded the hot water and it flooded my house on the first load. They can't even hook a hose up they are a complete joke DO NOT BUY FROM FREDS

Have had issues with my washer shrinking clothes and with mold buildup (top rated Electrolux) and had bought the extended 5 year warranty. Have called at least three times to get help with returning it but am directed to service dept instead. They won’t let me return it unless they can see there’s something wrong with it. They love to keep telling me how it’s a top ratses machine. Still waiting for a call from service department weeks later to come take a look and make sure there’s nothing ‘wrong’ With the machine. Will never buy from Fred’s again as it is so aggravating any time I need to get help. I use a scant amount of approved laundry detergent and am very picky with how inlaunder my clothes. Such a huge disappointment in such s bug investment. Better off with my 15 year old top load Kenmore set. I’m posting the review in hopes of getting a call back!!!

Misinformed me on my new refrigerator did I can't get cold water out of and my vegetables on top shelf food all freeze. I had to call Spokane for customer service in Kalispell five times just to get a hold of one person locally in Kalispell and never did get satisfaction on a rotten product, I'll never spend any money with them again. They need to answer the phone locally if they care about customer service which obviously they don't!

I experienced a snafu when the installers broke a screw in my new freezer door as they were switching the handles from left to right. They informed me I would need a new door. When the service dept informed me of the 6-8 week wait, I contacted Dan (store manager) in Kalispell. Within two hours Michael and Jacob arrived with a new door and had it installed in 20 minutes. They were very knowledgeable and in sync! What teamwork. Thanks Dan for your help.

Good selection of low and high end. Nice showroom. Matched Lowe's price on a Bosch dishwasher. Their forklift was down so they couldn't give me the unit when I paid for it. They offered to deliver the next day (I live about 20 miles away and it was tough getting back right away). I thought that was good since the reason I went there was that they always advertise that if they advertise it it's in stock.... They called me the next day and told me they wouldn't deliver because they weren't coming this way and said it'd be waiting for me... Really disappointed that I had to take time off work to go get it and get it installed asap (wanted to put it in right after I bought it). Theor prices are typically higher than box stores but I went because they say they'll have it. I had hoped they'd make good by getting it to me the next day but then wanted me to come get it. I could have just got it at Lowe's and they would have delivered free. Otherwise good but can't give them 5 stars.

Decent on the sales floor, but that's where the professional service stops. Pain in the ass to get anybody on the phone, and have calls returned. After spending several thousand dollars on a fridge, range, hood, and washer and dryer, they pretty much sucked at customer service. And the delivery guy was a complete ASS!! So rude, and disrespectful to me as a homeowner, as well as our contractor. After reading other reviews, I'm glad we didn't have them hook anything up...we're doing that ourselves with the help of a plumber. I'm already worried about what a hassle it will be if we run into problems down the road and dealing with warranty issues with them. Wish we would have just gone to the Box Stores...tried to support smaller business, but not worth the headache.
