We bought a house that needed mold remediation, and the real estate agents put us in touch with Five Valleys. The experience was great but I didn't think much about it - until four weeks ago when our dishwasher backed up and our house flooded on a Sunday night. I called Five Valleys and was blown away by their responsiveness, honesty, and thoroughness. From working with the insurance company to ensuring the house was mold-free, to arranging all subcontractors for drywall, flooring and paint, they did it all. I can honestly say that Five Valleys made the flood a not-so-bad experience. I recommend them without hesitation. They are great guys and take excellent care of their customers.

Wow! Just Wow! No one wants to wake up to a backed up sewer! From the time I called the office to when the crew arrived it was about an hour. They brought calmness, efficiency and respect and professionalism into chaos. Each person who came thru the door never failed to shake our hands, introduce themselves and assure us that things were being handled. The cohesiveness is amazing. As jobs were completed elsewhere others arrived to help. They were professional and polite in a nasty situation. I don't think I could smile and work the way they did in those hot suits they wore for 10 hours! What a well oiled machine! We were kept in the loop at all times, everything was explained as it happened, questions answered. I worked with the public for over 25 years and am very impressed with Five Valleys Restoration. Each person made us feel valued. We were their family and they were going to make things right. Our job is still a work in progress. I look forward to having things fixed and back to normal. They are the worst and most unprofessional people I have ever met ......I was charged 500.00 for the after hours call ......they took out a 4×12 foot pieace of carpet and pad sprayed some moldicide and turned on a dehumidifier and walked thru did a quick diagram of my basement and left....came back the next day and got the dehumidifier for another job ......called me a month later and wanted to start the job ?????? I said no I have it taken care of ......8 months later I get a BILL for 2200.00 .....called they knocked the Bill down to 756.00 ....I asked them to please send me an itimized breck down of the BILL why they were charging another 756.00 a year later....the owner replied don't call me ever again you got your insurance money and you OWE me if you don't pay me I am sending this to Collection .....his employees were at my home for less than a half hour and he wants 1256.00 ......well now he sent it to Northwest Collections it been their for a month 1200.00 ....That MATT dude is a terrible awful person and he is unfair and scandolous and he feeds off of people who have insurance claims .....BEWARE !!!!!!!! Some time ago I had them come clean my carpets. Before moving to Montana I myself worked in the carpet cleaning and restoration industry. First thing I noticed is the tech wasn't very cordial. Then he over saturated the carpet and didn't do a very good extraction. I was even able to get water out with my dinky Bissell carpet/spot cleaner, which has nowhere near the power of truck mounts, so idk what was about. Before leaving he set up a couple Dripod fans. Given the size of the areas cleaned, two was definitely not enough and the carpets were wet long after. Luckily their pricing is pretty reasonable, so I'm hoping that was just an employee having an off day.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! I can't keep silent any longer. About a year ago, we hired Five Valley Restoration to "fix" water damage in our kitchen. The process seemed ok until everything was done and they left. First, they left the drain hose for our garbage disposal disconnected so the first time we went to use it, water and food sprayed all over the new cabinet under the sink. Then I discovered that they completely left the moisture sensor off of the dishwasher, leaving it vulnerable to leak and not shut off. I called numerous times with no return call except for once when I was told someone would come fix the dishwasher. Nobody ever showed up and I never got a call back. Insurance paid the bill and I thought that was it. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I requested a quote to put new flooring in the entire house. The quote was so inaccurate, that it was almost $10,000 more than the next highest quote! I told Five Valley to disregard and went our separate ways...so I thought. My next correspondence from Five Valley was a bill with charges for work that had already been paid for, including moving the fridge, remove and reset cabinetry. When I emailed Mark about this, he apologized for the "discrepancy" and offered a $350 discount. This was never reflected on a new invoice and I didn't hear anything from Five Valley until several months later saying I have an outstanding bill. I asked Trish several times for an updated invoice with the new price but was given several excuses as to why they couldn't send it, yet she still demanded payment and even threatened to send me to collections. After finally receiving the correct bill, the account was paid. Either way, the insurance reimbursed me, but had I not caught it, the insurance company would have just paid twice for work done once. Not something I feel comfortable being associated with. A few months later, we decide to get new countertops. During the install of our new countertops, the installers discovered that Five Valley had GLUED our old countertops to the cabinets instead of screwing them in! The countertop installers even found the screws just tucked away in the cabinets. The countertop installers also stated that it was highly likely that the cabinets would be damaged trying to remove the GLUED countertops. After a lot of unnecessary time and labor, they were able to remove the old countertops with minimal damage to the cabinets. Today, we had a plumber come to the house to see why the dishwasher was backing up and to inspect a leak under the kitchen sink. He was in shock with the condition of the plumbing that Five Valley had done. He stated that they used the incorrect drain hose for the dishwasher and improperly added an elbow joint that has been collecting small bits of food, causing unnecessary strain on the motor and causing a backup in the hose. The plumber said there would have been no need for the elbow joint if Five Valley had used the correct hose. He also stated that there were gaskets/seals completely missing from the garbage disposal, causing a leak. I am not one to normally write reviews but I am in complete shock and disappointment in the work that was performed by Five Valley Restoration and feel like other people should know the lack of quality this company has. I'm just waiting for the NEXT issue to arise thanks to the "work" done by Five Valley Restoration. Save your money, sanity, and time and go anywhere else other than Five Valley Restoration.

Best service I've ever had with carpet cleaning/restoration. I would recommend to anyone and I would defiantly use them again. I had an ex-roommate who left a huge mess in his room with stains that I could not originate. To top things off the ex-roommate decided to put SPRAY PAINT on my carpet behind my couch to get back at me. Cleaning up after him was hell. I called another company first and they told me they "lacked the cleaning supplies" to even touch it. I called Five Valleys and told them about everything and within just two days they had a tech named Jeremiah come to my house and tackle the mess. He was a great guy and fun to talk to. I watched him as he cleaned the mystery stains and he educated me as to what the stains were and the best course of action on how to clean them up if they happen again by myself. Showed me the trick with the iron and warm wet towel it works wonders. The best part is he GOT THE SPRAY PAINT COMPLETELY REMOVED WITHOUT EVEN A TRACE!!!! There was only one spot missed because it was behind the door and I was distracting him. He came back the next day and not only cleaned the missed spot but also cleaned the entire living room again free of charge!! Now this is a company that is not out to squeeze your hard earned money from you, and they stand behind their work. When you find companies like that you keep them around as I plan to do with Five Valleys Restoration and cleaning. They took so much stress out of my life and house, I would recommend them to anyone. If you don't use Five Valleys, you are wrong.

The guys who worked on my house were courteous and efficient. They worked with my schedule and kept me informed as to what they would be doing next and when.
