Someone flooded our basement, which knocked over a 5 gallon pale of cooking oil, which floated all over everything in the basement and then it sat there for 3 weeks forming an impervious layer of smelly slime all over our basement. We are located 7 miles outside of Traverse City down a crazy tight dirt driveway, and then 50 yards to the house with no running water in the winter. The people from ServePro were total professionals with plenty of equipment and lots of experience. Their equipment produces hot water and they used all kinds of cleaning agents. Nothing seemed to work but these guys really stuck with it. They got chemists involved from headquarters, they came back 5 times at no extra charge, and they gave us the detailed documentation needed to file an insurance claim. At the end, KIeth, the top manager of this franchise and Tim, the project supervisor both came out personally to make sure we were satisfied. These guys really know what they are doing and bring a lot of resources to bear on difficult projects, and have the integrity to get it done right. Highly recommend them.

Took things that weren't fire or water damaged. Locked up other items in a trailer left onsite with there lock, the homeowner couldn't even gain access. when the person came to get trailer due to time frame, they cut their own lock off of the tongue of the trailer, (why didn't they have a key?) then got stuck in the yard, major ruts are present now and used our (contractor) trailer ramps, without permission to get unstuck and just left them laying there now all buried in the ruddy mud. I will never willingly use their service and I will advise my insurance company that if I ever have fire or water damage they are not to call them.

Hands down, I would recommend SERVPRO of Grand Traverse for your restoration and cleaning needs. On several occasions, they have provided service to me and members of my family. From post-construction cleaning (after we remodeled our home), to drying out my aunt's home when a pipe broke in her ceiling, they have always provided outstanding service and communication. No matter the project, I know that SERVPRO will handle it promptly, and professionally.

I hired Servo Pro TC because they were not the cheapest but supposedly the best. I had the office carpet steam cleaned and wanted the tile floors stripped and waxed. They have returned once already to follow up on some issues and now I am doing a 2nd return call because the tile floors still have some built up wax on the edges and the tile floors still have a residue dull appearance with no shine at all. The service manager Tim met with me at the last minute to resolve our issues. All issues were resolved quickly and promptly and I would hire this company again.

I would say that everyone should be cautious when hiring this company to do work of any kind in their home. I was very hopeful at first when speaking on the phone with their receptionist. She was friendly and understanding of my very stressful time but that is where the niceness ended. We had the company come into our home for seven days to dry out our home from a major water event. During that time the team of people wore their dirty shoes all over my home, left their own clothing mixed in with my personal property, switched off my freezer (by accident), and to top it off!! Charged an insane amount of money to not even have the job done properly. After a month of dealing with it we turned to get another opinion for the insurance company to find that they did crappy work and didn’t complete what they said they did. If that’s not bad enough the owner himself questioned my truthfulness regarding my freezer and its content and was only willing to replace it because he couldn’t find any “evidence” to support that I wasn’t being truthful...( Big surprise there are honest people in the world.) All around I wish I hadn’t wasted my time with such a dishonest, out for themselves company. There are much more honest and forthright people who own local companies here in Traverse City that are worth the money and treat you like family every step of the way.

While on vacation our house had some water damage from an ice dam that formed on our eve. We contacted Servpro of Traverse City to do the cleanup for us. Servpro showed up promptly two days later did the demo because the floor buckled the ceiling sag carpet was stained and moldy Servpro crew bag all the trash up hauled it away sprayed the ceiling for mold that had developed couldn’t be happier the men were friendly courteous cleaned up after themselves and quickly one guy David who spent most of the time here I have nothing but praise for Servpro of TCA. I would certainly call them again and I highly recommend them to anybody who has a similar situation.

You guys work extremely hard, and whoever you serve will definitely be satisfied. My father missed his first day of work for the first time in 10 years due to the flue in 2016. He is currently building his streak back up. My mother works very hard and is devoted to the family. All the employees are very kind, bright people and are willing to help always. Servpro of Grand Traverse did a fantastic reclamation on our home when we were away for the winter. Our finished basement on a newer home was flooded. I had never experienced anything like this before and being 1800 miles away made it even more intimidating. I called Servpro, a crew was dispatched immediately and began to stabilize the problem. I was communicated with every day with an update of the progress by the knowledgeable on the job supervisor. The bottom floor was dried out in quick order. Now came reconstruction. It was also completed in the same manner. We never left our winter retreat and on returning everything was done to our satisfaction. Now that’s what I call a responsible caring company with a base of employees that knowledgeable, caring, responsible and have the ability to complete the job. When our area experienced a heavy rain a couple of weeks ago on a Friday morning our church basement ended up flooding, which wasn't found until late that evening. SERVPRO was at our church shortly after we called them and they worked well into the early hours of the morning removing the water and then setting up fans to start drying the carpet. They were sensitive to the needs of the church and were there every day monitoring the moisture levels and keeping us informed every step of the way. We were very satisfied with the work they did and their professionalism throughout the whole process. We will certainly recommend them to others.
