I really like Sweet Laundry.The family who runs it are the nicest sweetest people anywhere.99 percent of the time all the machines work and Im in and out under 90 mins.They will also pick up wash dry and return your laundry for a huge fee.Dry cleaning too not on the premises.It can get a little crowded its tiny.But go for the nice people who work there.They were doing construction on the front door step and when I had to enter or leave they made sure I got to the sidewalk in one piece.Soda for a buck.Its a nice normal no frills laundymat.And I never give 5 stars unless its a great business.

Clean, well lit, all the machines work, and the owners are very friendly. Free wifi, you can buy soft drinks and detergent, there's also a bathroom, folding tables, and magazines. What more can you ask for?! Highly recommend!

I thought this would be a good replacement as it's closer to home than my current laundromat- never coming again! You have to pay 2 dollars just to get a laundry card, that only allows you to use your card to top up in increments over 10$. One small washer (the only size available) is 3.99, and an extra 25 cents for anything over cold temperature. The dryers, while "cheap" are exactly that- it took 60 minutes just to dry clothes that usually takes no more than 30 on low temperatures at my old laundromat. Definitely not coming back here- during the whole time, there is no bathroom, no tables, and the seating area would be cramped with more than 2 people in it.

I used to really like this place but they changed their payment system and raised their prices. This has always been a more expensive laundry mat but I went because of the convenience of location and the fact that for a laundry mat it is pretty clean. (Though not that clean, their washing machines often have a musty smell and water trapped in the door seals with a ring of mold). Their new system has a minimum spend of $10 per visit making it the most expensive laundry mat I have ever been too. I was also told by the owner that I could not get the money on my card refunded, including the $2.00 deposit you have to pay for the plastic card. After too much discussion and me having to become rude I was finally refunded the money on my card and the deposit. Also, they say they open at 8:30 but I have had had to wait for them to open on more then one occasion as they did not show up till 8:45 or later.

really great location and SUPER convenient for me. Really enjoy coming here especially for the service. Jason is awesome and super patient with everyone! great customer service, and they pick up/deliver which is also amazing. Tonight though I was rushed out by another employee because her bus was coming. I'm very understanding of this especially because it's not the first time she's rushed me out but this time was more aggressive. it wasn't rude and she wasn't angry but telling someone "please hurry up, my bus is coming" and "please go quicker" is very uncomfortable! I understand the place closes at 9 but last wash is at 7:45 and I was there a couple minutes before that. I wasn't the only one in there but ended up being the last one out because I had more clothes than the other guy. Taking the bus home is painful if you have to wait for someone so I didn't make a fuss I just shut down even when she stood over me and said "my bus is coming in one minute" at that point I just did the best I could. My clothes were falling out of my bags but I left and fixed it outside. I'm not into confrontation and I've worked in jobs that I waited for the last customer to leave.It's very annoying when you depend on public transportation so I understand but I don't think I'd rush someone out who just spent money at my job. I got out of there by 9:02, I looked at my phone as soon as I could get it together outside. I hope that this doesn't happen again to anyone else. Sweet Laundry has other great employees, the price has risen so this situation just makes me want to walk a couple more blocks for a cheaper location with better hours and mostly like better service. Avoiding doing laundry on Mondays or whenever she's working could also be an option. SOrry for the bad review but i was just really uncomfortable.

Best laundry around. Clean, well maintained machines, friendly family owned. I won't say I like doing laundry now but it sure makes it less stressful. Have used clean and fold service as well, very satisfied.

They are within walking distance, so I decided to try them out. Two young Asian women were there to help when I visited. I asked some questions about the various washers, drop-off/pickup delivery services and they were helpful in explaining everything. Overall, their place is clean with fairly new machines. 8 triple size (ie very large) front-load washers 7 double size front-load washers 4 single (normal) top-load washers 20 dryers I tried the single, top-load washer on "hot" cycle. It took about 30 minutes and cost $3.25 Update.2017.//all top-load machines have been replaced with equivalent front-load machines)// The dryer cost 75 cents for 18 minutes. You'll probable need at least 30-45 minutes though for a normal load with jean or other heavy cotton. In addition, they offer laundry service. You can drop-off your clothes and pickup the next day for $1.15 per pound. You can drop-off and they will deliver the clothes to your home for $1.24/Ib. Finally, they can come pickup from your home and deliver it back afterwards for $1.35/Ib. The minimum weight required to use the service is 10 pound of clothes. So for $11.50 I can basically drop-off a large, normal top-load size bag of clothes and they will wash, dry and fold my clothes for me to pickup the next day. If you do it yourself, I'd say it would cost you about $6.00 per 10 pounds. Of course, if your time is valuable, and you normally charge $15.00/hour for your time, then maybe the $5.50/hour is well spent money!

The machines are expensive (3.99 for smallest washer), and you have to buy a 2 dollar card to use the machines. The 2 dollars claims to be a "deposit", but it's non-refundable. This place is very convenient to my home, but I won't use it for these reasons.
