Trash. The owner speaks like an animal, and has no respect for customers. Don't try normal communication with him, his style is ghetto fabulous..minus the fabulous. Their value is not even close to what they charge.

Usually the washer is 10$. I told the blonde attendant that the quarter machine didn’t give me ten because washer machine said I owed 50cents. She then Said there’s no sign with the price. With an attitude... and said washer price went up. Okay well most companies put signs up with correct cost before charging ppl unknowingly. They also don’t give customers attitude all because of a question. It really bugged me. Not the 50 cents, but her rotten attitude.

I have used South Shore Laundry for many years for my hair salon . They offered a wash dry fold delivery service for my towels and capes . Over the years I’ve had a few bumps where they have lost my capes and towels and although they did fix the problem the owner tried to drop me because she said I was hard to please . I somehow worked it out with her because I truly just wanted to continue services as I did not know anyone else in the area who would do my towels . Recently they have been going through lots of drivers so I reached out to the owner to explain and remind her how to get into my building as it is an old building and if we are not open early in the morning I wanted them to drop the towels in the hallway and there was only one way to get into the building that way . One morning I did not receive my towels so I reached out to the owner to ask her what was going on and she told me that all of my doors were locked . I explained to her that I have always made it clear how to navigate the building and this is the same way they have been navigating it for years . She then told me that the driver was a state trooper and he’s a pretty smart guy . ( meaning that nothing I was saying was accurate and she was not listening to me that he did not try to access the door he could have gotten in for whatever reason ) she then gave me two weeks notice to find another laundry service and this is not the first time she has done that and told me that I was not worth the money . This was all done through text. Her husband also texted me when he picked up the towels that next week to remind me of my last day . I recently lost two hairstylits so my bags of laundry were smaller than usual and I truly think this is the reason why they dropped me . I’ve been a very loyal customer always have paid on time and it was made clear to me that most of her business is now closer to Boston and I am out of the way when we were speaking on the phone trying to sort out whatever happened that day with the towels . I am a very reasonable person and if this was out-of-the-way for her and she no longer wanted me as a customer I think she should’ve picked up the phone and explain to me and I would’ve understood . I do believe as good business she should have given me the time I needed to find another laundry service . During all of this recent commotion my sales slips coincidentally became in accurate and I went back to look at previous slips and the amounts do not lineup. At this point I realize they were overcharging me so I probably would understand it that they definitely do not want to have me as a customer anymore . I do not understand what I did to deserve this however I found an awesome place that started picking up my laundry and is charging the same per pound and I compared my slips to south shore laundry’s and they are much lower . Everything happens for a reason and I am glad that I was able to find another laundry service in such a short period of time . I would have probably have dropped them along time ago if I knew they were better options . I know there are other salons that use them and I heard through the grapevine that they were having similar issues and we’re not happy with how the husband treated them when they had an issue . I’ve been in business for 10 years and I would never treat one of my customers this way .
