Great service, friendly staff, and great location. Just a little more expensive than some of the other options in the area for drop-off wash & fold we have experienced. Reply to owner: We were under the name Ashley Johnson. The price came out to $28.50 for 19 lbs. of clothes. We recently had our clothes done at Powderhouse Laundry near Davis Square for $18.50 for 17.5 lbs of clothes. Thank you for your quick reply and your concern, it says a lot about how much you care about your business.

I have been using the self-service from this laundry for over a year and it's been good until recently my cloth got destroyed. It was a normal load as usual. After this happened I went to talk with the shop assistant. She pointed their reminders on the wall said they had listed that they're not responsible for any damage. Well, on the wall there was nothing but reminders about unbalance load and I wish they could be more empathetic.

Christmas Eve hours were technically true, but only just. Got there at 10 AM, and the door was open, but there was no staff around to help. Would've been nice, since their detergent vending machine didn't accept my money. Ended up going to a competitor (see my other reviews). Probably won't go back.

It's where I do laundry, some of the washers are broken and you occasionally have to wait. People are nice though

This place just changed hands in early 2016 I think. They have new signs, a new floor, and are expanding the space quite a bit. It's a great neighborhood wash/dry, and that's it--no special services. You need machines and they have them.

A perfectly reliable place to do laundry in the neighborhood, I have given them my business numerous times now and I have only satisfying things to say. The new management is definitely an increase to their business, the old ones were horrendous. I highly recommend them now as they have changed, give them a try and test it out you won’t regret it.

Now the pearl street laundry is new owner . The place is so cleaning . The hours for self service is 7 days a week , from 7 am to 9 pm . Last wash is 7:30pm . Made my life much easier. There are always attendance as well . When I need help the worker so nice to help me . They offer great price for dry cleaning. The close washes so cleaning as well . The wash fold service turn around time so quick and cleaning. I would highly recommend to anyone from now on .

Don't rely on their official hours in the morning, the staff is often up to an hour late to open up. Don't leave your laundry unattended - the staff will remove your laundry into a ( sometimes dirty) cart, dropping things on the floor and so on. Staff is often pretty sassy too, washing their own laundry and kicking customers out for that. Homeless people have their hotspot one block away and often come to hang out or wash. In addition, they raised their prices three times in the last 9 months. Most expensive laundry in the area - not worth the money.

Finally the machines are card accessable. I don't have to deal with the coins and hassle. Very convenient and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Welcome to 2017. I can always read a good magazine or sit on the patio while washing my clothes. I just wish they opened earlier for people who want to start there day and get it over with. But 5

I have been using Pearl Street Laundry for several years now, and have rarely run into an issue with the staff. While there have been some issues with machines, the space is clean and the staff is friendly. However, over the past two days I recently attempted to laundry and ran into an unpleasant experience with a staff member (older woman with red hair). On the first attempt, I was unaware that Pearl Street Laundry switched their hours for the summer. I was surprised by the change in hours, as I work in schools, so over the summer I did not have an issue with what time I did laundry. I take the blame on that one, as I never took notice of the hours as I went back to work. After reviewing the summer hours, I planned to arrive Friday afternoon around 7PM (last wash at 7:30PM) to complete laundry before a weekend in Chicago. When I arrived at the laundromat the door was locked. I knocked on the door and the same lady opened it and said they were closed. The hours clearly stated that the laundromat was open to 9PM with the last wash at 7:30PM. When I stated this, the woman could only reply "I have been here since the morning and I am tired. I don't know what else to say." While I get that a day of work can be exhausting, if your hours are stated all over the store window, THEN YOU SHOULD ABIDE BY THOSE HOURS. I would hope that Pearl Street Laundry can improve on their customer service and hours, as I am beginning to get tired of having to play a guessing game as to when this place will actually be open.

WARNING: Keep an inventory of anything you drop off for wash-and-fold, and take photos. I made use of their wash-and-fold service while on vacation in Boston, and they lost a pair of my pants. I contacted them to see if they had misplaced them -- no response, so I hiked back over there before they closed that day to inquire in person. They told me it was impossible they could have lost anything, denied having ever seen the pants (it was the top item in my bag when I dropped off the clothes), and didn't even look around. They told me to go search my hotel room again. I asked them to at least call me if someone returned them and they brushed me off. Wish I had kept better records so I could at least get compensated for the loss.

This place is in a great condition now . Very cleaning laundry mat. Great price and clothes very cleaning for dry cleaning. I had my service done for Wash and fold . The staff there take very carefully and washed my clothes cleaning with spot treat without extra charge . The turn in time is under 12 hours . Ps: their dry cleaning turn around time is 1day . If drop off before 3pm . After years.This is a great service in this neighborhood . I would recommend to anyone in this neighborhood. Their attendance hours are stabilized now . Mon to Sat : 10am to 7pm . Sun: 10am to 5pm .

Hours are constantly changing with no apparent logic. I cannot rely on this place anymore. Please, somebody else, open a competing laundry place across the street. We in this neighborhood need a reliable place, not a joke of a business!

I ran into problem with one of their machines.I was charged twice for a single service.When I wanted to report the issue. There was no staff to help.Also there is usually a wait time. I think Cambridge area can have a better laundromat services than this.

Neat and clean nice little laundry place. Plus free WiFi and plenty of magazines to read. Best thing is they have washers that accepts credit cards. Really frees you from hassle of carrying 1,5,10 dollar bills. Staff is super nice and friendly as well and uslly parking is easy to find around it.
